Kiwi Express Hotel (Taichung Station Branch II) Reviews

Good location and environment. Bed is clean too. But not much amenities.

I really enjoyed my stay there comfortably rooms. Women only bathroom and a whole floor with kitchen and activities to get to know more people. The view was also really amazing from the roof floor. The staff is also really kind and helpful.

Although it is a backpacker hotel, but the facilities like towels and shampoo are provided. Taiwan hotels no longer provide disposable toiletries, so bring your own. The location is within walking distance to the main train station, which is also the main bus station

The hallway carpet is a little dirty but the room is spacious and the AC is strong. Bed is huge and comfortable. That’s all I care about. Price was excellent!

Clean and hygienic, cheap price

I had a really nice stay here and was even able to extend my stay for another night spontaneously. The hostel is in walking distance (~5-10min) from the train station which is super convenient. The bed was really great with a lot of space as well. In addition, the staff were super helpful and kind. They provide a little breakfast with toast and croissants and there’s a very spacious common area as well. The only thing that I disliked is that the bin’s of the toilets could have been a little cleaner, they were always more than full.

walking distance to Taichung Train Station, easy to get around and have nice eateries, night markets as well. got 802 lower bunk, easy check in, friendly staff and happy stay.

It is a good option, it is a middle ground to go places

This is the second time I stayed at this Kiwi Express. As usual, the room overall is dusty. I got nose blocked the next day. You could literally see the dust flying around the room/inside your bed when you have your lights on. They do not vaccum the room thus this dusty, I suppose

I was allocated upper bunk beside Aircon. The air ventilation in the bunk is poor. It is stuffy and hot because accommodate many people inside the dorm. It was difficult to climb to upper bunk. There was smell inside toilet. One of the hair blower is not working.
