"Sauna and Wellness closes at 21:00 instead of 22:00 as advertised. Not easy to use when you have to work late. Laundry service is very fast and good though. Make sure you don't get a room with a single bed on the first floor, where a noisy machine polishes the floor at 6:00am"

"The hotel room was filthy. Floor, specially under the bed very dirty. Light in the living room had over a hundred dead flies. Ac filter in both rooms extremely dirty. You see the filth just standing under it. Sink in the kitchen keeps bubbling and making noises day and night. They cater 99% to Arabic clientele and they are noisy and running in hallways all night. The hotel knows and do nothing. The hotel confirmed that I am right about all of it in writing!!! But did not do anything to improve it. I have a proof and pictures. The hot water was not working one day together with air conditioning but the sign at the front desk was only in Arabic, not in Czech or English. Another sign of discrimination."

Wellness Hotel Pivovar Monopol ★★★★
"We stayed at the hotel in April 2026 for 4 nights as a central point for a trip to the northwestern Czech Republic. We stayed in a double room with a balcony. The hotel has a spa (for a fee, we did not use it) and two restaurants (we did not eat in them) as well as paid parking which we used. The room itself is simple and nothing more, nothing special, the shower is good but if you do not like to use the hotel's soap products and bring your own, there is nowhere to put them when you shower but on the bathroom floor. The quality of the towels is poor, the hotel claims to be ecological and allows you to either continue to use the same towel or ask to change it every day, at least if there was a towel drying facility in the bathroom, then it would make sense, but since there is no facility it is unlikely that we will use wet towels again. We were a couple and on the second night we only had one large towel in the room. I went down to reception to ask for another towel and mentioned that we were a couple and therefore two towels should be prepared accordingly. The receptionist was nice but searched and found only a hand towel and offered it to me as a body towel, really??? After I said that didn't make sense, she found a key to the utility room and brought me a large towel. Surprisingly, the next night there was only one towel waiting for us and I had to go down to reception again and ask for another towel, also from the same receptionist. I mentioned that it was unlikely that I would have to come and ask for another towel night after night. The next and last night there were two towels in the room. The breakfast is definitely sufficient, I think if you come with children, there are fewer options. The quality of sleep is good. The staff is overall very nice. Will we return to the hotel again? We will probably look for another option."
