The environment is comfortable, hygiene is excellent, and the service quality is high! The hotel's pillows are very comfortable, and its location is near the Bund in Shanghai, with plenty of delicious food nearby and easy access to taxis. I will definitely stay here again next time.

The room was very clean, and the hotel staff were exceptionally nice. However, the dining area is in the basement, and the air circulation isn't great. It's also connected to the laundry room, so there was a damp, pungent smell, kind of like a public bathhouse. I went down for some late-night congee, took a couple of bites, and quickly left.

Upon arrival, I was upgraded to an executive king room. The window faced the street, but it wasn't noisy at all. The room was very clean. With the Atour mini-program, you can choose two complimentary items daily; I tried the steam eye mask, neck patch, and sleep spray, all of which were excellent. The hotel's breakfast was also quite good, with options like freshly cooked rice noodles and a variety of Western and Chinese dishes. My favorite was the douhua (tofu pudding), where you could customize it to be sweet or savory with a rich selection of toppings! Atour's laundry service has always been top-notch. During this stay, I had a lot of clothes to iron. While I was in the laundry room, an employee passed by, saw how many items I had, and suggested I take the iron and ironing board back to my room to take my time – very thoughtful. Besides that, every staff member I encountered during my three-day stay was attentive, greeted me with a smile, which made the overall experience even better. Although this Atour's location isn't ideal (it's close to a main street and a bit far from the subway station), taxis are readily available, and nearby malls and supermarkets make it quite convenient. Plus, the excellent service made me very satisfied.

Great location, very clean, and excellent service. There was absolutely no strange odor, and the place felt welcoming, spacious, and upscale! It's a shame I didn't take more photos, but it's definitely worth recommending! Seriously, it's really good!

The service at Atour was really good, and the room size and facilities were perfectly matched to the price. What was most thoughtful was the alcohol wipes provided for disinfecting the toilet. They also tidied up my forgotten items and left them at the front desk. It's not too far from the 'three-piece set' (likely referring to popular attractions or amenities). Overall, it was excellent.

The room was neat and tidy, the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. The front desk lady was super nice and always went above and beyond! The breakfast was delicious too, and the hotel is quite close to all the must-visit attractions in Shanghai.

Awesome spot — lobby looks fancy but not stuffy. Check-in was fast, they gave us free water and some local tips which was nice. Housekeeping kept things tidy every day. The rooftop bar has killer views and good drinks. Great value and really helpful staff.

Our two-night stay at the Atour Hotel Shanghai First Yaohan was truly the unexpected highlight of our trip. The location is absolutely prime, just a 5-minute walk to the First Yaohan commercial district. With an abundance of restaurants, supermarkets, and a subway station right nearby, it offered unparalleled convenience for both leisurely exploration and efficient travel. The room's design featured a warm, inviting wood aesthetic that felt both minimalist and sophisticated. The bedding was perfectly soft, instantly melting away any fatigue. Even my light-sleeping companion raved about the excellent sleep quality. The bathroom boasted excellent wet/dry separation and instant hot water. The toiletries, with their subtle, pleasant botanical scent, truly showed the hotel's attention to detail. What impressed me most, however, was the genuine warmth of the service. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient and enthusiastic, proactively asking about our needs during check-in and even thoughtfully hand-drawing a local food map. Our housekeeping team meticulously cleaned the room daily, ensuring even tiny water stains on the desk were wiped away, and discreetly replenished our bottled water and tissues every evening. While the breakfast selection wasn't vast, every item was exquisitely prepared and fresh. The freshly made wontons and freshly ground coffee were particularly impressive. The public lounge's book bar, with its soft lighting and diverse collection of books, provided a wonderfully relaxing spot. Sitting there in the evening, flipping through a few pages with gentle background music, was incredibly serene. From its facilities and services to its thoughtful details and overall experience, this Atour hotel made us feel incredibly comfortable. It will absolutely be my top choice for future visits to Shanghai!

The service was outstanding. They even mailed back the earrings I had accidentally left on the bed – I'm incredibly grateful! Moreover, the staff always greeted guests warmly with a smile whenever we entered or exited the hotel.

The hotel offers unique literary titles, specially commissioned by Atour from People's Literature Publishing House. In the room, there's a pour-over coffee kettle, along with custom-blend coffee and tea that you can brew yourself and take on the go in provided takeaway cups. While the TV doesn't come with paid streaming services, it does offer screen mirroring, which is fine since most guests have their own streaming subscriptions on their phones anyway. Amenities include self-service laundry, a book bar, and even late-night congee/porridge – a thoughtful touch for night owls. The room features a smart toilet (though its quality isn't great) and a simple, user-friendly shower. The hairdryer was good, too (couldn't tell if it was a Dyson). The hotel is located in an area with abundant dining choices and excellent transport links; there's even a shared bike parking station right outside the door. I was initially going to leave a negative review because the bed's headboard was really uncomfortable, and the smart toilet was malfunctioning (the lid kept closing on its own while I was using it). However, once I discovered the DIY coffee setup and admired the nice-looking kettle, all was forgiven.

Atour Hotel continues to be consistently reliable. This particular hotel is situated on a quiet lane just off a main avenue, offering a peaceful retreat despite its central location. It's only 1km from the heart of Lujiazui and also very close to Laoshan Road, making it perfect for an evening stroll to grab a drink.

Great location! The rooms are compact with modern decor. Amenities include a communal laundry room and a lounge area. A local supermarket, snack bars, and fruit stores are all conveniently located nearby. On my first afternoon, I enjoyed authentic Xinjiang lamb skewers at a small shop literally 5 meters from the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful, and the douhua (tofu pudding) was fantastic. I also had a hot bowl of fresh pork wontons. Coffee is available to go.
