"We visited this property after being there 20 years ago. Still a fab property. Staff exceptional. Place requires a lot of repairs and I am sure they are on to it. The only thing we were very upset was - about our drivers accommodation and food. A GRT run property DOES NOT provide food or not even a cup of tea. The accommodation provided had serious issues with mosquitos so our driver slept in the car. The location of the property was away from shops and other accommodation so to have a cup of coffee our driver had to drive a fair distance. I escalated this to the ***agement mid way of our stay - of course the answer was we will do it sir - but absolutely nothing happened. We plan to be back again as we like the place. But if this is not improved we will reluctantly look for alternatives. "

"This is right in the middle of Tanjore. Rooms are pretty decent and spacious. Though it's a hotel of longtime it's well maintained. Ample car parking. The rooms that have access to the pool are good. We could spend time at the pool instead of sitting inside. Food is also good. Complimentary breakfast was also simple and neat. On the price side a little higher. "

"I have stayed at this hotel a few years back and was impressed by their professionalism and quality of the hotel. Now both are lacking. Ok entry we were told strictly and almost rudely that no guests are allowed in to the rooms. We had no intention of bringing in guests! the rooms were good and clean. Breakfast used to be an impressive buffet spread now there were very few items. What was served was indeed tasty. Overall the value for the amount paid is not seen in the stay experience!"

From the Bell Boy service all the services provided were very good. Front Desk, Room Service, Restaurant Staff, Housekeeping Staff all behaving good.

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel is quite old but the service and rooms are good . Recently renovated and some more going on. the rooms are quite big bathrooms are fresh no complaints at all . Amenities provided in the bathroom, kettle and water jug available. In room dining includes veg and non veg options with good portion quantity and good taste. Complimentary breakfast is not as good but sufficient. I loved the feel of the hotel , walkable distance to the temple and excellent service. special mention for ms shanti as she looked after the special request for my two year old baby and obliged. thank u

GGuest UserClean room, good parking space, away from noise pollution, closer to shopping, restaurant attached. Did not use room service so cannot comment. Restaurant food was no issue. Except for a defective flush, the washroom was ok. Could not get enough hot water before 5 am. But no issue on hot water after 5 am. Hump near the entry gate was pathetic. High possibility that it will touch your vehicle chassis. This needs to be rectified.

When shower water seep thru the bottom glass shower screen and make a big mess- looking gross.
Towels are not soft and not washed with comforter
Disappointed with the breakfast. Ordered onion uttapam and the batter are not cooked properly. Filter coffee doesn’t taste good. Idly is not solid and tastes fresh. Found hair on the idly thongs and informed the person working there to immediately removed and change.

GGuest UserStaffs are good. Environment is good. Rooms are neatly maintained. On a down side, bathroom needs to be properly maintained. Perks like tooth brush, tooth paste and shampoo were missing. Moreover didn't change the towel for next day.

WWei SanThe cleanliness, amenities and service was generally satisfactory. The WiFi is strong but toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste as well as toilet rolls are not provided. We booked a suite with 2 double beds but upon arrival was told that our booking was not received and they don’t have a room with 2 double beds. So information found in trip.com and the hotel does not tally. It will be good if the system updates the room types that are truly available. Overall, the stay was comfortable, despite some issues during check in.
