"This is a fabulous place for an authentic Japanese holiday. The location is beautiful. The outdoor hot spring bathing area is clean and looks like a movie set. The included meals are generous in portion size and are delicious. Our room overlooked the river and it was great. Tatami floors and shoji screen windows. This is an old and historic place and does not cater to western norms. You sleep on futons on the floor. Only Japanese food is available. But it is a wonderful place to spend some time."

"It was a short walk away from the Minakami Onsen bus stop and the room was clean. Loved the private onset overlooking the river as well. We didn't have breakfast there as the price was a little steep for us (~27 SGD) but there's a nearby bakery and other F&B, so food was not an issue. They provide PJs and a cardigan to put over as well. Staff was nice too."

"The hotel is not far from the station, about a five-minute drive away. Near the hotel is Tianyi Art Museum whose owner is an artist of traditional Shakuhachi musical instruments. The decoration and details of the hotel are very artistic. Inadvertently found a hotel with a local traditional culture atmosphere. You need to make an appointment if you have a private soup, and you can see the outdoor scenery. Public soups for men and women are separated and served 24 hours a day. The breakfast is delicious and authentic with local specialties. The dinner will provide musical instrument performance and experience. Interesting."

"期待を超えた宿です。 館内全体的にかなり色々こだわって工夫してる感じ。徹底している整理整頓と清潔感、簡単な道具でも、一本の花、一枚の葉っぱが趣を伝わってきます。 カメムシ結構いるけど、窓に薬貼ったりして対策しているし、電話したら処理してくれるので虫が無理な人でも一応大丈夫だった。 値段も高くないので、コスパがいいです。尾瀬に近くて、尾瀬徒歩の終わりに泊まりやすい。ただ周辺の飲食店が遠くて閉店も早いので要注意。"

"I used this to ride from the first train of Shiraneyama ropeway. It is an inn that is relieved with the feeling of an old-fashioned inn. The room was just a good size but the refrigerator and toilet are shared. There was no yukata. The hot springs become smooth skin. Because it is lukewarm water, it does not warm up unless it enters more than 15 minutes slowly. There was an oil stove. There was a beetle in the room because it was in nature. There was a 7-Eleven in the car about 5 minutes."

"3 different types of onsen , amazing breakfast with huge selection of food, amazing spacious rooms with an amazing view of the river. Only spent 1 night here but would’ve easily stayed another if we had time. The building is well maintained and the onsen was so good I had 3 sessions even though we were only here for 1 night. Had to try them all. Highly recommend this place if you just want to relax and unwind and don’t skip the breakfast! It’s worth i"

"A pretty decent Onsen. Just that the staff couldn’t speak much English and we had a hard time trying to understand the dinner flow. And the amenities at the onsen bath are quite limited."

"Feel like home is an ancient ryokan hotel. But the inside looks clean and modern, the owner takes good care of it like a relative. There is a large public bath separate men and women. The room itself is spacious, not uncomfortable. If coming again, I will book here again. Recommended"
