"The room was not clean, the corners of the bed were covered in dust... The front desk staff was not good (when checking in, I asked the front desk for 2 room cards, but the front desk immediately said: If the room card is lost, you have to pay 50 yuan). I booked online and checked out at 14:00, and I used Ctrip points to add value to the check-out, but the front desk called us at 11:30 and asked us to check out. The surrounding environment of the hotel is not bad"

"Very lovely hotel with friendly staffs. Hotel looks great, everything was clean and room was spacious. Good ventilation even though smoking was allowed, no musky mouldy smell, everywhere smelt great. Had a great view from my room too. They had kids amenities like bedroom slippers, toothbrush etc. Breakfast buffet at the hotel had a great spread and tasted great. Additionally, there is a small theme park within 5mins walking distance from the hotel, my kid enjoyed it. Would recommend this hotel 👍🏻"

"Fanbo is the best hotel l stayed for this trip. The location is Excellent, just adjacent to the main bus station and 6 minutes walk from train station. The front desk is truly friendly and helpful. "Honest review about my two-day stay. I'm hoping to see some improvements.
Customer Service: Poor. Unresponsive to requests, lacking in providing assistance. Not courteous, which is expected of a hotel staff.

"This guesthouse exudes cultural charm, having been thoughtfully converted from an old house. However, the biggest issue is its lack of practicality. As an accommodation, guest convenience and functionality should always be the priority. For instance, the vanity area, while beautifully decorated, has an overhead light that isn't directly above the sink. The mirror is also about a meter away, tucked into a corner, which means you can only get a vague reflection. It's impossible to see details, so forget about checking for blemishes or plucking white hairs. The shower stall is incredibly spacious, yet there's no caddy or shelf for toiletries, forcing you to place them on the floor outside the shower. There's no television in the room. The soundproofing for rooms located on the first floor near the entrance is abysmal – it's almost like having no door at all."

Disadvantages: The shower water is very cold, the water in the private bath is not hot, and my friend said that the air conditioning in his room is not very hot either. There is a smell of cigarettes on the pillows in the parent-child room!
Public hot springs: The large pool with massage and the indoor pool simulating a cave are worth a dip. The others are average, the water temperature is too low, and the temperature of the indoor pool is more suitable."

"First and foremost, do not be put off by the appearance of the entrance and elevator to the hotel. Although first impressions are important, for some reason, it does not apply to this little gem of a hotel. As soon as you get to the hotel floor, everything is much better. The rooms are spacious and clean, fixtures are of high quality, sound proofing in between rooms are very good. Noise from train station is not too bothersome for us, and the hotel does provide ear plugs should you need them.
Location couldn’t be more convenient- train station, long distance buses and local buses are within walking distance. Eateries, a big supermarket on the 2nd floor of a mall close to the long distance bus station is also available. Smaller convenience stores are all over the place.
Only gripe: hotel would not provide an extra pillow and housekeeping was adamant that only 2 pillows are allowed per room😩
Front desk staff was very helpful in assisting guests to whatever sightseeing questions one might have"

"The hotel room is very nice, the facilities are very complete, the sanitation is very clean, the cost performance is very high, the environment is very beautiful, there are many delicious and fun things to eat nearby. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic and helped me buy tickets for Fanjing Mountain. I almost thought I couldn't buy tickets. The service attitude is very good. The environment is also good. There are performances in the ancient city at night. It is very close, only a five-minute walk away. The sound insulation effect is also good. There is also a free tea bar on the first floor where you can drink tea."

Just got back from Fanjingshan and I *have* to rave about Homyue Resort! Its location is absolutely superb – just a 10-minute drive from the Fanjingshan scenic area, and Yunshe Ancient Town is within easy walking distance. It was incredibly convenient to return to the hotel after a day of exploring.
We booked a river view room, and opening the balcony door revealed beautiful views of the Taiping River. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was so much more pleasant than an alarm clock. The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was impeccably clean – even I, who am quite particular about cleanliness, couldn't find a single fault.
The breakfast spread was quite varied, with Western options like bread and coffee readily available. It certainly fueled us up perfectly for our hike up Fanjingshan. On evenings when we didn't feel like eating out, we ordered the sour soup fish at the hotel restaurant. It was incredibly authentic, and the staff were so thoughtful, even reminding us that we could request less spice.
A special mention must go to their outdoor pool – it was incredibly refreshing to take a dip after hiking, and the water temperature was perfect. There's also a lounge area nearby where you can grab a drink. On our departure day, as we had an early bus to catch, the front desk kindly helped us arrange a taxi. The driver arrived punctually, and we weren't delayed in the slightest.
The only minor drawback might be that it can get a bit busy on weekends, so you might need to go for breakfast a bit earlier. However, the overall experience genuinely exceeded our expectations. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Fanjingshan!

The decoration style of the hotel is really eye-catching. It's not the usual decoration. Each room has its own unique style. From floor heating to hair dryer in the bathroom. The disposable toiletries are obviously of very high quality. The drainage in the bathroom is also sloped to facilitate the discharge of waste water, and great attention is paid to the details. The room we booked at the beginning was changed decisively by the front desk because the water temperature of the hot spring pool was low. The drinks in the refrigerator are free, and some rooms also have capsule coffee machines. Making your own Americano is also a good option. The front desk service is also super considerate. Everyone entering and leaving will be greeted and asked warmly. It can be seen that the hotel has done a good job in staff training. After staying in so many hotels, this one is really worth recommending! !

GGuest UserThe riverside right by the entrance is simply enchanting. Waking up and pulling back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by a soft mist cloaking the distant views and the river, truly like a wonderland. A stroll down to the riverbank was incredibly invigorating. I'll definitely return for another stay if time permits.
It happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival, and the owner thoughtfully prepared Zongzi (rice dumplings) and the local specialty, Miancai Ba, early that morning. It gave me such a heartwarming, home-away-from-home feeling.

SSuannuomiThe hotel is very close to the train station, and it only takes ten minutes to walk from the room to the train station. The lady boss is very considerate and will get up early to cook eggs for the guests. When checking out in the morning to catch the train, the boss enthusiastically reminded me not to forget to take the eggs, which was very touching. There are coffee and other drinks and small snacks and desserts available at the front desk. The room also provides a washing machine, a disinfection cabinet and a smart toilet. The price-performance ratio of this hotel is quite high. The only drawback is that the window sound insulation is a bit poor. You can hear the sound of the train, and wearing earplugs does not affect your sleep. The hotel has free parking, and it is very convenient to park and return the car when renting a car for a self-driving tour.

GGuest UserIf you want to be up at Fanjingshan before the crowds arrive, staying at Longting Courtyard is the right decision.
When you artived at Fanjingshan Tourist centre, Longting boss will pick you up and bring you to buy the entrance ticket for tomorrow hike. And then bring you to Longting Courtyard to check in.
Next morning, the lady boss will cook up a bowl of delicious noodles soup for you to fuel up. Then the boss will bring you to check in at the Entrance. After that you will board the sight seeing shuttle bus up to the cable car station.
Fanjingshan is all yours to explore before the crowds arrive.
If you need transport from Tongren Railway Station to Fanjingshan Tourist centre, Longting lady boss will provide you with the driver contact number. One way is 35 yuan.
The room is comfortable and spacious enough for us and they are clean.
We are happy with our choice of staying at Longting.

YYouyoudaimaWe landed at Tongren Fenghuang Airport and immediately took a taxi to the hotel overnight. Since there was only one flight a day, we had no choice. We arrived at the airport near 10 PM, and the 1.5-hour taxi ride brought us to the hotel at 11:30 PM. The front desk attendant had already turned on the AC in our room and left a light on, along with her phone number, telling us to call her when we arrived so she could open the door. It felt a bit bad seeing her groggily come out to open the door for us, but her attitude was very kind. She said it was okay and that she would always leave a light on and open the door for us, no matter how late. We were very touched 🥲. While there are some things that could be improved, like the many insects in the mountainous area and the lack of chairs in the room, we were very satisfied with the staff's dedication, responsibility, and warm attitude.
The front desk lady suggested we visit Yunshe (an original ecological village with small bridges and streams) about ten kilometers away for some local sightseeing. We went there, and indeed, it was beautiful with few people, offering a great experience (Pictures 4-11).

The B&B is built along the river. It is comfortable to spend a day in a daze on the terrace. The scenery is YYds
The surprise is the smart toilet, but the heating is not available in the bathing place, and it is a bit cold to wear clothes after washing.

The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities, soft and comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, and very convenient and comfortable bathing.
The yard was very beautiful, with good greenery and fresh air. There was also a small pavilion where we could relax, the layout was very reasonable, and the space was used very well.

We opted for this hotel for the gorgeous courtyard type of layout. The hotel deserves the attention and my lengthy review as the architect/ designer has such an exquisite taste which shows off in the smallest details. The select of burl wood trims with marble patterns, stylish lighting fixtures…
Rooms are spacious and full of technology. Bathroom with heat floor and even ironized glass which offers instant privacy with a click of a button.
This hotel alone is worth couple nights of stay where one could plan a getaway from the city life and fully immerse themselves in the hotel’s garden trails.
This hotel is great for tourists who prioritize monetary value as It’s essentially a five star luxury resort for a fraction of the price.
However, for those who enjoy a slower pace and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy tourisy area it offers more.
This hotel had become an integral part of my spiritual retreat escaping city and exploring the FANJING mountain area.

SSteven DowsonWe arrived via two buses and a taxi, next time we'll drive and there is lots of parking available at the front of the hotel. Receptionists and staff all very friendly and efficient. Room was very clean, great shower, squat toilet. Hotel is a short walk from West Gate, you can follow the road or cut through the trees. We ate at the hotel first evening upon arrival and the food was good home cooking, we also had the noodle breakfast which was basic but good. We were lucky to have great weather on Fanjingshan but it's a stiff hike from West Gate and our legs were sore the next day. After our day on the mountain we stopped at a restaurant close to the gate, and returned here on our second night because the food was fresh, tasty, good value, and they have an excellent view of the mountain opposite (see photos). On our second day we took a taxi down the mountain to the nearest town (taxis use the charging points opposite the hotel) but we had trouble getting back and were fortunate to hitch a lift. The West Gate is preferable to East Gate but it's better to have a car.

GGuest Userto be honest, This hotel is definitely good value for money. Compared to hotels near shops, I prefer accommodations that are some distance away from Fanjing Mountain. One of the reasons is that if you want to walk around shops or go shopping at night, you will be disturbed and forcefully sold to by many people.
The hotel provides many services including transportation to the entrance of Fanjing Mountain and breakfast. This is a very thoughtful service and I am very satisfied with it.
There are many restaurants near the hotel, and many locals dine there.
Choosing 3D2N is definitely the first choice. Going up and down the mountain consumes a lot of energy. After we came down the mountain, we went straight to the hotel and slept for 14 hours. The only downside to being near Fanjing Mountain is that it is very far to other attractions. Make sure you can catch a car or bus back to the hotel before nightfall.

Its location is superb, just about 100 meters outside the East Gate of the Fanjing Mountain scenic area, right on the main road leading there. It's very visible and easy to find. While the hotel facilities aren't brand new, they are practical and convenient to use. Breakfast is served on the ground floor, to the right, and the food was quite tasty. To the left outside the hotel, you'll find plenty of shops and amenities, including supermarkets, fruit stores, and restaurants. This location is very convenient if you plan an early morning hike up the mountain. By the way, Fanjing Mountain itself is amazing, truly ethereal and definitely worth visiting.
