Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites Reviews

We enjoy this hotel because it has the pools, buffet option and the fridges for snacks if wanted or needed. I also noticed the laundry room this time and think it's nice to have available. It's also close to the things we need so we like the location for personal and business.

There was a lot of dust on the desk and bedding, making the room look like it hadn’t been used for a long time. In addition, the Wi-Fi connection in the room was very unstable and kept disconnecting, which was extremely inconvenient.

Can smell the old carpet. Old elevator too noisy. Average cleaning. Toilet ran all night. No microwave in the room.  Ring your food to laundry room downstairs to heat it. You have to pay for the parking even you are a guest. Two ice maker in the hotel. One of them is broken. Older smallish tv I didn’t feel very secure in the hotel. Anyone Oulfa climb to the balcony to your room. It is expensive motel.

Pretty nice hotel. Location is OK, but not as close to downtown as I would have liked. Of course the traffic in Toronto plays a part as well. They have everything you need on the property as far as food, pool, and gym. Parking could be better, but was sufficient.

Overall, it was okay. There is room for improvement in terms of their service, facilities and food.

Parking at the hotel was not included, and they waited until I checked out to tell me that was the case. Breakfast is not included with the room booking. Housekeepers were very polite and professional. Overall, it is a very average 3-star hotel.

Front desk staff not very friendly and tried to overcharge me for more days of parking than I was staying there. Room lacking basic amenities like USB plug. Bathroom mirror in very bad shape. Pillows very uncomfortable. Air conditioning and fridge quite loud while trying to sleep.

This hotel is a little bit old and tired, yes. But I have paid way more for hotels not as good downtown. If you have a car and location is not an issue, this is a pretty acceptable option. I’d stay here again.

Would stay again, but not for vacation this was a medical related

My daughter lives in the Beaches. It's a hop, skip and jump to her house, without the Toronto traffic, which is absolutely great. Clean room, welcoming staff.

Stay was awesome. Hotel is more like a resort with several amenities. I actually cannot think of a negative experience with this hotel. I would only like that they include breakfast option with their booking.

It was amazing to be there, therefore we stayed only one night and we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities
