"The room was pretty average. Double bed is reaching the end of its life. Two bedside tables but only one with a bedside lamp that doesn’t work. Room is very small with one table and two dining chairs. No other seating and no clothes hanging space, but certainly clean and tidy. Heating is good, I think $165.00 is a bit high for a room this basic………..however all of that was forgiven when we sat down for dinner in the restaurant. The young woman who looked after us ( who has 5 children) is a delight. We had scallops baked in a scallop shell, three scallops in each of three shells, baked in a sweet chilli and hollandaise sauce. I have never had scallops that tasted like these. Memorable. A glass of Holm Oak Pinot Grigio to make perfection."

"Set in the most incredible scenic location. It wasn’t just beautiful to look at, there was something really magical and calming about it. We both felt so rested and recharged after just two nights. The cottage was very warm and cosy. The open fire and sound of the waves of a night were straight out of a dream. Everything was top quality and generous. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. The staff were incredible, happy, kind and super attentive. You could tell they actually love to work there. We ate at the restaurant for lunch and two dinners. It was exceptional. Really high quality food. My partner is gluten free and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Definitely the best place I’ve stayed. If it was anywhere else you’d pay 2k a night for that level of quality. Luckily for me I’m a Tasmanian so I will be back here as soon as possible."

"This small hotel by the sea is probably only three stars in my country. I would not book this hotel. 😹How should I put it? The scenery is really beautiful, but there is no service... It is just clean and tidy. However, I took a walk nearby and had the best pizza I had in Australia this time. It was an unexpected reward. 😆"

"I am not used to writing negative reviews however I feel that things need to improve. Firstly the photos on the booking sites do not reflect the appearance of this cottage now. The outside is very untidy, the garden and lawn areas are dead. The outside table and chairs were dirty, BBQ was full of grease. The ashtray outside was full of cigarette butts.When first walking in, the chalet was spacious however very unkept. The small oven in the kitchen was not clean, there were crumbs on the floors and under the chairs obviously from previous guests. The shower had mould in it and the floor mats were unclean. It is advertised as complimentary breakfast which you find in a plastic tub with 4 slices of bread in the fridge in snap lock bags. We are not overly fussy people but this chalet needs a good clean. One positive was the host was lovely."
