"Just book it and stay here!! An absolute gem in the charming town of Vasto. The location is right in the central square so very convenient to stroll the area and explore. The property is newly renovated and with all of the modern conveniences (amazing for Italy!). Excellent individually controlled heat and air conditioning; modern bathroom with lovely touches throughout. Bed was very comfortable and the room was quite spacious. The host, Anita, was amazing and made our visit feel like spending time with an old friend. She greeted us in the parking garage on arrival to help with our luggage and escort us to the property. It was a very kind gesture for a couple of weary travelers! Anita also took the time to show us our room, explain everything, and provide us with our options for breakfast, which she delivered to us each morning. After our day of adventure visiting a nearby small village where my great grandparents grew up, she brought us a bottle of wine and joined us to hear about our experience. It was lovely to learn about her experiences having moved to Italy and creating this beautiful boutique hotel in this quaint community. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I enjoyed my stay and the Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are well appointed and the staff professional. It is in a good location. One thing to be aware of is that you cannot get to the lobby by car or transport. If you have luggage and mobility issues it is very challenging to navigate. It is not clear in the literature. They would benefit by having a hand rail to assist with states going into it as stairs are uneven and not well lit. If staff is available they can help if not busy. That is challenging in that they are only staffed from 8-10 and 4-8. Suggest using GPS to find it. Note many stairs if you go the wrong way with luggage. Luckily we had a driver who took our luggage there while we had lunch and returned with keys. Entrance by code as it was in a time not staffed. Departure we were assisted by Francesco on staff. Excellent. Breakfast is from 8-10 in a lovely roof hop area. Stairs do have hand rails. Well worth the effort but could be enhanced by making the outside easier to navigate."

"I don’t know where to begin with how beautiful our visit was at Hotel Acquario. I visited at the end of June with my husband and two small children and we got a room on ground level near the pool. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the pool was perfect. There was a very shallow area for my small kids which they played for hours. A little walk down the path and you are at a stunning sandy beach with your own private umbrella and chairs. The entertainment staff was friendly and always engaging my kids to join in activities. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. We loved our stay and are already planning our next trip back."
