We did wine tastings and one of the $10 paid was deducted from the wines we purchased. We had dinner at the Mr Grubb onsite - food was good, service was too."

The Marilyn Room is gorgeous, full of character, very spacious, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, good shower, and lovely views over the courtyard garden. Check-in was easy and the staff we saw around the place were friendly and happy. We would love to stay there again!"

"Check-in staff was rude and I didn’t even get notified by 3pm for check-in.  Room floors were dirty with crumbs around dining table and on chairs upon check-in but cleaning staff quickly vacuumed when I requested.  Otherwise rest of room was clean and location/pool great."

"The place is Circa 1902 and that describes the rest of it. The method of entry with noone present was not the easiest and took a few goes to work. The bed was very soft. The bathroom facilities were very outdated. There was a room freshener that was very potent and sickly sweet, maybe to hide other odours or just the owners preferred aroma? I would'nt go back again."

"The lights in the male toilets are not working well. It switches off every 2.5 minutes . When one is taking bath at night - it is very dark and both my boys almost slip and hit their heads in the bathroom. They had to yell so loud so that I could bring torches for them. Basically, for the next few days - whether brushing teeth, bathing , wee or poo- one has to bring their camping lights in the toilet. This is not acceptable considering the rooms are close to $160 a night for bunk beds . The communal kitchen however is good as they have freezer for people on fishing trips etc"
