"Our kid enjoyed the facilities, and the animals were a wonderful treat. HOWEVER, very disappointed by the lack of integrity for the environment and surrounds. Plastic rubbish strewn throughout the river, river water quality abysmal (blame the ducks if you want to, but do something to improve the water flow and quality). Water not safe for kids to be in, and the flow into the sea made the beach smell funky and rotten. There are signs at the beach to say the river is not safe, but no signs at the Big4, why? Barely any rubbish bins around so no wonder there was rubbish everywhere. No attempt to provide composting facilities or recycling in convenient locations. Huge amounts of glass mixed with food scraps in the kitchen. Cleaners should be utilised during busy weekends throughout the park, not just in bathrooms that also need more regular cleaning (and we all know they could afford this). And then we found out the tap water isn't safe. My kid ended up with a fever and we left early, but I won't be so quick to blame the water, but we couldn't find any water to purchase once we realised it's not safe to drink. There should be signs or text messages. It was a really busy weekend, but all the kids on e-vehicles that don't know how to ride them made it feel a bit unsafe for our toddler. Half of them without helmets. And then some of the families were really getting on the piss - good for them, not great for our camping experience. Maybe we're not Big4 people, but would love to see them valuing and acknowledging the landscape they're making money off."

"What a great place. The reception was as nice as I ever experienced a motel reception. The Chinese lady was fantastic, she even boiled our eggs for us for the next morning. The room is very clean, the bed made perfect, the shower and toilet very good. The only remark I have is that the window fan in the bathroom is very noisy. Close to IGA is very convenient. Again, what a great place."

"We originally wanted to stay at the Twelve Apostles, and then drove back to Beijing in the morning. Then we searched for the Twelve Apostles, read the reviews and felt that it was not very good and a bit dirty. Later, we looked at the route and decided to go back in advance and make corrections halfway... Then we searched for this one... It looked like it was built in 23 years and was relatively new, so we decided to stay here... We placed an order at 5 o'clock, and then went to London Bridge and strolled around. We drove back at 19:00 and arrived at 21:00... The office was closed, and I still had to make a phone call. I saw that there was a mailbox, and when I opened it, there was my letter and a map of the accommodation. The self-service check-in was very good... The room was very large and clean, and I could cook... I packed my luggage, took a shower, rested, and adjusted. It was very good, better than when I lived in Melbourne or Sydney... Not bad, some comments said it was noisy, but it depends on yourself. There are inevitably cars passing by the highway, and it is acceptable~ There are few cars and people, not bad, checked out at 10 o'clock, saw the staff, and they were enthusiastic, not bad,"

"We were so excited for our stay. We came with two other families and we each booked the ‘deluxe’ 2 bedroom holiday unit. Our friends both had modern, clean units that were spacious enough for families. Ours was a lot more basic, old and quite dirty. The carpet was awful and the unit had a stale smell. Nothing deluxe about it, I would hate to see the ‘standard’ holiday units. Definitely not up to standards for over $250 per night. When I mentioned it to reception that said they would mention it to their manager but no apology or anything. Would not be returning."
