"The hotel looked a bit old inside but perfect for mountain view. We requested a room with a mountain view of Jungfraujoch, and we were so delighted that even though we didn't get a double bed but two single beds with a balcony. The swimming pool and jacuzzi, including saunas, were a bonus with varieties of tea available by the jacuzzi. The hotel is just 1 min walking distance from the wengen station, easy access to Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch, and grindlewald. The breakfast buffet was all right, I wouldn't say it was top notch considering the price. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay in the future. We had experienced a disturbance almost all night from a raucous guest just above us, room 209. Constantly banging. We tried to call reception so many times to complain, but no one answered my call. That was so disappointing. We couldn't sleep all night. I felt the noise could easily be heard from neighbour guests. Overall, it was a really nice hotel to stay in a perfect location."

"Travelled as family. Hotel is located very near to Wengen train station, Coop, Mannlichen skiing.. we enjoy our stays."

"2nd time to come here. First time with family and although we had to stay in 2 rooms, it was fun to compare each others rooms and layout. Breakfast is expansive (eggs looked a little old), but great selection of breads, deli items and so many jams to choose from. Cold dishes had a much higher quality than warm dishes. As it’s buffet style, it can be difficult to keep a sense of cleanliness, but they try hard. Dream hotel at night as you can see great views. Front desk staff is super helpful and remember me from my first stay. I would like to return again in the future."

"It is difficult to compare foreign hotels with domestic ones. You can ignore the so-called star standard. The room is small, but the scenery is beautiful. The hotel is on the mountain, and cars cannot enter. You must take a small train to go up the mountain. The facilities and equipment are also average. If you don't want them, there are no toothbrushes or toothbrushes. The breakfast variety is single, but the ingredients should be okay."

"I stayed in this hotel with my friends during my graduation trip in July. The friends made a temporary reservation, but the stay experience made me very satisfied and amazing. The view, food, service, thoughtful and meticulous, I came here again in August, After staying for a few days, I really feel very cured. "It is not convenient to go to the hotel to go down a big slope from the train station. When you arrive at the train station, you can call the hotel to arrange a free car transfer. "Perhaps its just me being an American. We obviously don’t have chalets in the US but we only got 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 7 night stay. Bed was comfortable. Wengen train is a 5 min walk. Close to coop grocery store which is surprisingly open on Sundays & restaurants are open late as well. Chalet Elisabeth is one of the places we stayed in during our 3 week stay in Switzerland & overall, we enjoyed it."
