"One star - only because I couldn't give zero. Arrived at the park to find no-one in attendance at reception. Rang the number on the door .. twice - no answer. Another lady was also waiting to check in - no answer for her either. Rang the different number provided on my booking confirmation .. twice - no answer. A passing cleaner kindly rang the "owner", who declared that a code to a lock box had been provided - it hadn't been. Code arrived by SMS 10mins later - lock box contained a map to our site. At this site we had a choice - park so our awning opened onto a roadway, or park in the opposite direction to the flow of park traffic - which meant our awning couldn't be opened at all. (And no, not a block of flats we were towing - a 13'6" van.) We chose to forget the awning as it was a one night stop. We couldn't complain because reception was unmanned for the day! Went to do our washing ... at the most expensive caravan park washing machines we have ever come across ($7 + card fee of 44c), only to have our money taken, twice, with no action from the machine! Next morning as we were leaving (when there was someone in reception) we complained about the washing machine, we were advised that our transactions would be cancelled or refunded. It's now several weeks later, and despite three follow up emails, no refund! Complaint directly to G'Day Parks also had no effect."

"Before the trip I have told my kids this is a Wednesday Adam’s hotel. With their unique style and decor. We have very much enjoyed our first night on the road. The front staff was so friendly and helpful. She turns on the hot spa so we can relax at the pool and a warm dip. This motel is dated but well looked after. Location is right opposite a huge fresh food market with cafe, fish and chips plus any grocery you can ask for. Kids had fun with the giant moving strawberry statue at the front. My husband enjoyed the motel 10 dollars breakfast deal with great size muffin (full of fillings) and unlimited coffee. Only thing I would comment on is the mattress on soft side."

"The location is good. You can check in at the train station just across the road. The newly renovated bathroom is great. I am very satisfied with the shower and mirror. The disadvantage is that the soundproofing of the bathroom is very poor. The water pipe for bathing and flushing the toilet next to it is completely in use. It’s the same in your room🤭, it feels like you’re not the only one living in your room🥹, especially at night. However, the environment is still good value for money."
