The area around Cathedral Square may be a little lively in the evenings on certain days, but personally I do like to be in the centre of things, surrounded by the life of the place I am staying in. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, which always adds to the enjoyment of any trip."

"We booked a feature double with breakfast for a 2 night stay on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The hotel was well sign posted & we were able to easily park. The house is beautifully decorated & the staff welcoming & attentive. We were very pleased with our room. It was very hot (bank holiday heatwave) so the windows had been opened & a fan on to try to cool it down a little. The room was clean & the bed very comfortable. The newly renovated patio area was lovely & there was even an area reserved for residents which was great on such a busy weekend. It was lovely to enjoy a few drinks there in the sunshine. The location looking out over the river is just beautiful. The breakfast room is nicely decorated & the breakfast itself was nice with some good options. Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"The Shrubbery Guest House is situated about three quarters of a mile from Worcester city centre. We arrived around 14.30 for our 3 night stay. we were given a friendly welcome by Leslie who showed us to our room which was a good size and extremely comfortable. A good breakfast was provided which set us up for the day. We had really enjoyable visit to Worcester which in part was down to our stay at the Shrubbery Guest House."

"Stayed at the Star inn last night, After reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive. Well no Need for any worries! Rooms were perfect, heating all working and the shower was lovely. We arrived and the manager Franky was most welcoming and took us up to our rooms. We enjoyed our evening in the Bar downstairs and found the regulars to be a friendly bunch, we even met the owner Warwick. Had a fab evening and we will definitely be returning! Keep up the good work guys, and thank you for making our stay memorable for the right reasons"

"Excellent family room with everything you could need. My son loved that he had a separate space upstairs. Easy to find the accommodation and the parking spaces. Great location just a short walk from Worcester city centre and with Copper Beech Brewery around the corner. We didn’t meet the owners but they were very helpful and quick to reply via message/text."
