Very near to the train station. Comfortable bed and good amenities! Highly recommended.

The hotel was in a good location and easy to get to from the train station. My only complaint is that there is no frosting on the glass in the washroom, so when you have a shower or use the toilet anyone else in the room can see you.

Just walk from the railway station exit on the left 5 minutes and stop walk at before the junction you will the hotel on you left hand side

Hotel located exactly at dukezong city with the windows overlooking songzanlin monestary. Owner is knowledgeable and accommodating. Really nice guy. He speaks really good English! Told us he used to teach English, a tour guide and also experienced photographer~. He show us comparison of 18 years ago dukezong from his photo album and current dukezong. Told us story how Shangrila name come about. We chats about his cats, one particular kitten named Puma is very naughty. Enjoyed being in his lobby where he set up the fireplace and the cats getting heat there. At lobby there's peanut and walnut on the table, we able to enjoy them while chit chatting. I really enjoyed being in this boutique hotel. All his staff can speak simple English too~ The bed is warm and toasty. I feel it's a blessing when we check in, it was snowing lightly as well. I can see owner have great personality and an animal lover. If I ever visit Shangrila I will surely extend my stay in this hotel; just to have story time with the owner. ❤️

Hotel right next to the train station, which is its only plus. WiFi was super slow, check-in procedure took 15min & room was freezing cold. They smoke in the hallways & the breakfast room is disgusting (see pictures). Had its best time 20 years ago - would not stay again!

Good location if you need to take the train from Lijiang Station

The place was really close to the metro station which was very convenient. Room was clean and there was also breakfast on lobby floor for 15rmb. Very cheap.

Hotel just next to railway station, but it is an old hotel. Paid to have breakfast, which was unsatisfactory. Very few selection of food. Can't complain because of the low price.

Very good location, right by Lijiang railway station - very convenient if you have to get on the train early in the morning. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable enough to spend a night there.

5mins from the train station. Old but comfortable

For the convenience of taking early high speed train in the morning. The bed was not comfy, light was kind of dim, not much amenities. Staffs was friendly and helpful.

Easy to get Muslim food and easy to by bus to old town and free trasnport to train station
