If you're confused or dont know where to dtay, BOOK THIS!! 😍 Rooms: There were 5 of us friends and we had a family room and executive/superior room. Both were clean incuding the other hotel areas. Service: Best part for us was service! 😍 The reception staff especially Guo and May and the hotel owner were all so helpful, responsive and helped us plan our itinerary. Location: Cannot recommend this hotel enough, we had a great time! Location was so close to Baofeng lake and the east gate to national park. Half hour to 72 Towers and train station. Amneties: breakfast had limited options for vegetarian but we knew that and it was not a massive deal for us. We used the laundary room which was pretty easy and they have plenty of umbrellas for rainy days. 10/10 would highly recommend

A wonderful hotel! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the hotel staff for their warmth, hospitality, and assistance in organizing our trip! 1. We were met at the airport and taken to the train station on a free comfortable transfer. 2. There is a free transfer to the National Park there and back. 3. Delicious breakfast: steamed buns, jiaozi, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables - and all this with a stunning view of the mountains! 4. The territory of a hotel is much larger than it looks on the photo, very well-groomed and interesting. I recommend to plan 1 day to just relax at the hotel! 5. The hotel has a small cute pool with a view of the mountains. 6. The hotel staff confidently speaks English and helped us with literally every little thing! They bought tickets, planned every day of our stay, helped with routes and gave their recommendations. They answered in the chat literally instantly on any question! They were worried and wrote to us if we stayed somewhere late. 7. Free tea tasting of local tea in English was very interesting! You can buy local tea and pottery in the store. 8. During our stay, we counted 3 dogs, 7 cats, 3 kittens and 2 puppies that live on the territory of the hotel. All animals are very friendly and gave this place an incredibly warm and homely atmosphere. 9. Laundry is free, we used it several times, everything is great! 10. You can order dinner at any time. All the food is delicious, home-cooked and made with love! 11. The room was wonderful and very spacious with a large bed, great pillows and very soft linens. 12. We left the hotel very early, so the staff brought us breakfast to go. It was very nice! Thank u so much!!! I’ll really miss this place!

Honestly it is a hidden gem!!!! I absolutely loved it! The attention and service were amazing. Everyone always caring and smiling…. Didn’t want to leave. They make sure to accommodate your needs. The rooms are clean, super cute and the balcony with the pool view is so relaxing….. excellent location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and close to the river to take amazing pictures….. We loved our stay at the hotel. The staff did so much for us and a good stay in the national park that the review will be longer than usual. The rooms are super luxurious. The view from the hotel into the national park is amazing when waking up or for sunrise after spending the day in the park. All windows have mosquito nets, so during the night you can leave the windows open and enjoy the sounds of nature. We had breakfast and also stayed for dinner. Both were tasty and freshly cooked. We have seen that the hotel also has a huge garden for growing vegetables. Regarding the location to the park and after spending some days in the park, the south-east gate is the best for visiting the park as it is not very crowded and it is located in the center of the park with connections to all areas and very fast access to the bailong elevator. The staff helped us by choosing the right tickets and explained everything in detail and gave individual recommendations depending on our wished hike length. The communication was super easy, because they have a really good voice translation device, so that you can have a normal conversation with everyone and not only in English-Chinese. Every language works. I really liked it, because you can have normal conversations. So when visiting Zhangjiajie I highly recommend choosing the south east gate and this hotel.

This hotel is exceptionally comfortable — the rooms are clean, cozy, and equipped with all the essentials. The double room features a spacious and very comfortable bed. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. They didn’t just offer a warm welcome — they also helped me book discounted tickets to Zhangjiajie Park and even put together a personalized tour plan based on how much time I wanted to spend there. The location is super convenient too — it’s only about one kilometer from the East Gate of the park, making it easy to reach on foot or by taxi. There’s also a vibrant street nearby filled with cafés and shops. I highly recommend this hotel — you won’t regret it!

Absolutely amazing! The location is perfect for the park (just make sure when you book your tickets to book it for the middle gate), it was a five minute walk. We travelled with two kids (a two-year-old and a four-year-old) and an 80-year-old. The staff at the hotel is extremely helpful, answering all of my numerous questions, answering the phone when I cannot understand what a taxi driver is saying (they helped me to translate everything) They are kind enough to book tickets wherever you want to go, the breakfast is delicious with an amazing view. My kids could not get enough of the swimming pool, and would definitely just go back to swim. The rooms were spacious and clean, and it was very quiet and Wonderful. 10 out of 10 We would definitely go back to this hotel in the blink of an eye.

This is a great hotel/resort. We were welcomed by Rain, who spoke English, and showed us our very big room/apartment. The Inn is located in the middle of nature so of course there were some insects, but a surprisingly small amount inside the room. They provided a insect mosquito net upon request. Most of all, the location provided great views and a stunning sunset. All staff is very kind and caring. Especially Rain, who catered to our every need and drove us to the National Forest Park every day. And special thumbs up to the restaurant staff who made fresh food for breakfast and diner! 🙏🏽 It was rainy weather during our stay so one morning we joined the activity hosted at the reception. We handmade a cute souvenir and said hi to the lovely furry friends. TLDR: we had a great stay and would definitely recommend No. 5 Vally Inn!

A Must-Stay for Park Visitors! We had a fantastic stay thanks to the incredibly friendly and cooperative staff. This hotel is perfectly located right near the Zhangjiajie East Gate and only a 5 minute walk from the bus station. The service here is a game-changer. The English-speaking staff assisted us with ticket booking and even provided a discount! They are great at helping with navigation; their hand-drawn map covering all the key points on Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain was essential. Plus, the breakfast noodles were delicious—the perfect fuel for a long day of hiking. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie—the convenient location and amazing service make exploring effortless.

This hotel is brilliant. The previous reviews say it all. Shou Yang Ping sorts everything out (tickets, shuttle to the park gate ~1km away). We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel - the food is great and we had no desire to walk to the local restaurants on the way to the park gates. One BIG thing we learnt: the south entrance (the one near this hotel) is much better than the option of staying in Wulingyuan and using that entrance. Why: -The South entrance is much quieter (we had no queues to get in each day - mid- Sept) -The South entrance is closer to attractions: 500m to start of Golden Whip Stream path. 5 mins on a bus to Avatar mountains cableway (& ＜5mins queue to get on bus and cablecar). The Wulingyuan entrance is where the hoards get into the park. By accident we did leave by this gate (when it gets close to the 6pm closing time the park wardens politely but firmly guide you to the nearest exit! No worry it was a £3 Didi ride back to the hotel). The bus ride from the park (Bailong Elevator is the start point for the Wulingyuan gate) is a 30minutes bus ride from the Wullingyuan park entrance gate. -Zhangjiajie village (the hotel location) is a small quiet tourist resort feeding the south gate, Qiquan Homestay is located in a serene corner of the village. At the Qiquan Homestay you feel like you are staying in a cross between a Swiss and Chinese mountain village - away from the hullabaloo of the city and all the other places that we are staying on our 2 week tour of China (and the hullabaloo of the crowded parts of Zhangjiajie Forest Park). Some have likened Wulingyuan to Benidorm.

Honestly this the best hotel-place we have ever stayed in china. Although the location is not muslim friendly as there is no halal restaurant around the area. However, the staf was really kind to provide us a vegetarian breakfast which really helped us through tbe day. The staf is really supportive and kind to the guest as they treated us like a family which we really appreciated it 🫰🏻. The hotel is really clean and spacious. And its the best hotel if you want to visit the Avatar mountain as it really near or you can stay in for relaxation purposes as it the best for it.
