"Facilities: The public areas are beautiful, with a lounge, restaurant, and swimming pool. Aside from the small room and small bed, there are no other issues. Given that land is at a premium in Hong Kong, it's understandable. Hygiene: The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. As a new hotel, there was no musty smell. Environment: I came for the V8 concert, and the hotel is very close to AsiaWorld-Expo. After the concert, I could walk back and rest, which helped ease the fatigue of traveling. Service: The front desk staff member was excellent, very polite, and patiently answered my questions about directions. Five-star rating for him! Transportation: The hotel provides a very convenient free shuttle bus service between the hotel and Hong Kong International Airport (Tung Chung Station MTR exit)."

"This hotel is excellent, very high-end and on par with some well-known chain brands. It's located right across from the Wan Chai MTR exit. There's an entrance to the right of a Porsche dealership. Don't take the first elevator; instead, walk 10 meters forward to the right of it, and the first elevator you see will take you directly to the 19th floor for check-in. After checking in, your room will be in the northwest corner of the front desk area. If you take the correct route, the hotel is only a four to five-minute walk from the MTR station. However, if you take the wrong exit (Exit C), you'll have to walk uphill and then typically take an elevator from the 3rd floor to the 19th. During the day, there are plenty of signs on the 3rd floor, so you won't get lost. The hotel is very clean, and the pool is good too. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on the variety. The mall downstairs is also great for shopping and has good food options. I feel incredibly lucky to find a hotel in Hong Kong over 30 square meters and so upscale for just over a thousand [HKD]. The front desk staff who handled my check-in were also exceptional and exceeded my expectations. If I have the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here."

In addition to providing comfortable and exquisite rooms and suites, the Emperor Hotel also has a variety of dining options, including the award-winning famous Michelin star Chuanyue Restaurant "Junjing Xuan". Our Monkey Cafe where the taste buds bloom and the top-floor lounge “The Crown” overlooking the charming night view of the city are great for wine.

"The bedroom was clean, odor-free with big bathroom with a perfect shower. However, air conditioning is too strong even on lower level and the refill of tea and coffee in the room, need a little improvement for the price of the room. Breakfast is amazing, might need to think of bigger cups though 😉"

"The hotel room facilities are quite old, but the size is acceptable. The shower water was very hot, though the sink drained too slowly – room 1520 definitely needs a fix. I stayed for 5 nights and only received three bottles of drinking water in total. Honestly, I think they should either not provide any at all, as you can get water at the restaurant during breakfast and afternoon tea, or they should provide enough water daily. It's 2026, which hotel doesn't ensure guests have sufficient drinking water? Improving this would make it perfect, especially since the buffet breakfast and afternoon tea really solved my daily meal challenges with my elderly parents and child, which I was very satisfied with. We barely ate out (firstly, Hong Kong's food doesn't really suit our taste, and secondly, it's sometimes inconvenient to find lunch when you're out exploring; it was great to return to the hotel at 3 PM for a rest and afternoon tea!). Finally, the front desk staff were very friendly and made me feel at home, significantly better than staff at other hotels (I've been to Hong Kong many times, so I have a comparison). It rained every day for our first three days in Hong Kong, and the front desk lent us umbrellas without requiring a deposit."

"The hotel and rooms feel newer compared to others in the same price range. Rooms in Hong Kong are generally expensive and small, which was the case here. It had a 'large' bed that was actually two singles pushed together, and I had to climb onto the bed to draw the curtains, as you can see from the pictures. The aisle was very narrow, making the small space feel even more cramped and a bit depressing for one person. It's probably fine for business travelers. It's not far from Kai Tak, so many young people staying for concerts and events choose this hotel, and there were also student groups during my stay, so business seems good. They offer free bread and coffee in the morning. Aside from the small size, there aren't really any other downsides."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Hari Hong Kong. The location is excellent, just a 13-minute walk or a short taxi ride to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The hotel is a stylish and luxurious boutique property. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless. The reception team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The room was compact, which is typical for Hong Kong, but it was thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. I must especially mention the bed—the mattress, pillows, and duvet were incredibly comfortable, providing an excellent night's sleep. The location is another highlight, with many excellent restaurants and cafes within walking distance. "I’ve stayed at Dorsett WC 2 weeks in a row and was pleasantly surprised by the overall professional standard. All employees I interacted with assisted and sorted out issues in a quiet competent manner. A problem with the TV was resolved by pulling together people from IT dpt, housekeeping and a Gen Z employee who spotted the remaining problem immediately. Room rates are well priced and I upgraded myself to a premier (larger room) with great view of the Happy Valley race course for a marginal amount. Both rooms I stayed in had spacious walk in showers with premium shower gel, shampoo etc. Overall extremely pleasant stay with great breakfast buffet."

"This hotel offers great value for money in Hong Kong. It's clean, conveniently located, and a good choice for business trips. This year, I discovered a 'bing sutt' (a type of Hong Kong-style cafe) right across the street that serves delicious food – it wasn't there last year, which makes the location even better now!"

Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong

The hotel facilities are noticeably dated and showing their age. The air conditioning in the room was particularly loud at night, it made a restful sleep nearly impossible. However the front desk staff was attentive and genuinely helpful. At check-in, she proactively flagged that 10–11am tends to get hectic, and only two lifts were running for the whole building, guests on higher floors should allow at least 20 minutes before checkout to get down. A thoughtful heads up, given my room was on the 31st floor. Checkout the next morning was a bit of a slog. It took nearly 10 minutes just to get a lift down to the lobby.

We was looking for hotel that was centralised to wherever we are looking (Disneyland, Ocean park etc) and we decided to look for hotel at Prince Edward or Mongkok then we found Starphire hotel. The price was affordable and room was clean, just that need about 10mins walk from Prince Edward MTR (Come out from Exit C left side out, keep walk straight till near underneath second highway or have to turn, then turn right and continue walking till see hotel, besides it is ”The Cloud”). Coffee and water was provided 24/7 at level 3 besides check in counter. Breakfast which was bread will be given if go to level 3 in the morning. Overall, it was a pleasant Stay and is happy to revisit if got chance.

I had a wonderful stay at Nathan Hotel in Hong Kong and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The staff truly stood out — they were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my entire stay. Every interaction left me feeling well taken care of. The location is one of the best things about this hotel. It is just a short walk from Jordan MTR Station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The surrounding area is also buzzing with shops, restaurants, and local conveniences, so everything you need is right at your doorstep. Overall, Nathan Hotel offers a great combination of warm hospitality and an unbeatable location. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Hong Kong!

Great location, and the room was nice, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Very satisfied! The only minor issue was that being on the first floor, the traffic noise was quite noticeable. If you're sensitive to noise, I wouldn't recommend a first-floor room. Otherwise, everything else was excellent, and I would definitely choose this place again next time.

I knew hotels in Hong Kong are expensive, so since the price for this one was low, I expected wat I paid for. However, basic safety and hygiene were missing. The cleanliness was only moderate at best, but the real issue was seeing rats running along the wires on the ceiling. The booking process was also a mess. l was forced to pay an additional fee just to get a room with a window, simply because it had twin beds instead of a double. It felt like a scam and poor management. The location is perfect tho.

The location is super convenient! It's less than a 10-minute walk from where the airport bus drops you off, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby. Plus, it's really close to Wan Chai Station. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved the snacks in the room; I forgot to take a picture, but the staff specifically looked them up and brought me more, which was incredibly thoughtful. I highly recommend staying here!

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was especially cool for me to stay in this particular building because it's where the famous movie 'Chungking Express' was filmed. That alone makes the place special and gives it a unique vibe. The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool, which was especially important in the hot and humid weather. I also want to give a special shout-out to the host. He was very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and I was even able to check in earlier than the set time.

Coming to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊 At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food. The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all. The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!
