I chose this hotel for a concert as it's super close to the venue. The room was small but very clean, and perfectly acceptable for a two-night stay. Transportation is very convenient, and they even offer a free shuttle bus to and from the airport and subway station. The hotel breakfast was just so-so, nothing special. If you're planning to go out, I'd recommend skipping breakfast here and eating out instead. All in all, it was a decent stay.

As our flight arrived HK at 2355 hrs, we booked a night at Regal Hotel on arrival. Once you are at the Arrival Hall, turn to left towards the end & you will see a signboard directing you to Regal Hotel. Just less then 5 mins walk you will reach the Hotel’s Reception. Checking-in was a breeze in less then 3 mins we were given the room keys. Room is old but clean with all the necessities. As the room came with 1 complementary breakfast, i paid an extra HKD138/pax for the international buffet breakfast. Well worth the price. To reach the city, we took the HK Airport Express at a promo price for 2 pax single journey.

I only found out after booking that this hotel has a bit of a reputation, apparently for being *******, so I was a bit unnerved staying there at night. The front desk is on the third floor, above a mall, and it seems to be quite a popular place. The air conditioner remote in my room was broken and couldn't be controlled. In the other room, it could be controlled, but it kept resetting to the original temperature, and I couldn't adjust the fan speed either, which blew directly onto the bed. The soundproofing isn't great; there were a lot of excited foreigners, so it was a bit noisy. The service was good, though. However, my room wasn't ready at the 3 PM check-in time, and I had to wait another thirty minutes, which I found unacceptable. It just doesn't make sense to have to check out by 11 AM but then not get your room until 3:30 PM.

Arrived on the red eye flight past midnight, to find to my dismay that the hotel had 4 to 5 steps from the pavement where i alighted, to the hotel lobby. Not the best start, I thought. Then the staff who attended to me was also not the most chatty and i was kind of regretting booking the hotel. But all that negativity was dispelled when arrived on the 23rd floor of my room, and was greeted by the spectacular sight of the renowned fragrant harbour in my very spacious room, by HK standards. There was a Nescafe coffee maker, which was kindly topped up daily by the friendly cleaning staff, even though i told them i didnt need room service for my short 2-night stay. Bed was firm and comfy, bathtub was clean and not too deep so no fear of accidental drowning. But the highlight for me, besides the view of the harbour, was the delicious breakfast buffet spread, which had a lot of dim sum components, on top of the usual continental breakfast spread. Kudos to the chefs and staff at the cafe serving the hungry morning crowd! Conveniently located along a street full of fab eateries, but not the nearest to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station (about 7mins walk away).

They were a good location and price is reasonable too. For the service, I know that they have a lot of work to do and have many customers too but for requesting that I requested, they took a long time for solving and the communicate also has problem too, like I already informed 1 times and they didn't came to check and solve it I have to inform again and again. But everything will good after contact 3 times.

This was my third stay at this hotel, but unfortunately the experience was quite different from my previous visits. During my three night stay, I had to change rooms four times. The first room did not match the room size I had booked, so I was moved to an accessible room, but there was a noticeable smell coming from the bathroom drain. I was then moved again, only to find that the AC was not working properly. Although these issues were frustrating, I appreciate that the staff took them seriously and arranged room changes promptly each time. Overall, the service was good, but the stay was disappointing compared with my previous experiences.

I really have to talk about this hotel because it exceeded my expectations. I was traveling with my parents, and finding a hotel in Hong Kong is notoriously difficult – questions about musty smells, room size, location, and service always pop up. The Hopewell was the best travel destination I painstakingly found in Hong Kong. In early June, during the off-peak season, three of us stayed in a twin room with a sofa bed for around 1300 RMB including tax, which is about 450 RMB per person. For this price, to stay in a newly opened 5-star standard hotel in Hong Kong, the value for money is excellent. Please note that for this per-person price, you get: 38 square meters of space, which is absolutely spacious and comfortable. Location: The hotel is located in the Hopewell Centre, not far from Wan Chai MTR station, about a 7-minute walk. Downstairs is the Hopewell Centre mall, and there are clear signs guiding you from the mall to the hotel. The surrounding area is extremely convenient. There's a supermarket and a McDonald's in the building, along with many other dining options. More importantly, Wan Chai is convenient for getting anywhere – the MTR covers Hong Kong Island and Tsim Sha Tsui attractions within roughly three stops. For family travel, I definitely don't recommend staying in Tsuen Wan or further away. With multiple people, long daily commute times, and Hong Kong's MTR charging by stops, the round-trip metro fare for three people over a few days could easily offset the price difference of a better hotel. Hotel Environment: The bedding is comfortable, and all facilities are complete and brand new. Toiletries and water are provided. The plugs offer USB ports, so you don't need an adapter. The twin beds are stated as 1.2 meters (though they felt wider than that, quite spacious), and the sofa bed, with a mattress, is 0.9 meters. Overall, it's very comfortable. Windows in Hong Kong are generally sealed. The Hopewell, being a new hotel opened at the end of 2024, didn't have any musty smell. The fresh air system and air conditioning were also very effective. Hong Kong hotels usually charge per person, so for three people at around 1300 RMB, this was an extremely good deal. Service: The hotel service was good. The front desk staff could communicate very well in Mandarin. The workers and cleaning staff I encountered in the hallways had excellent attitudes. When I asked if more water could be brought up because we didn't have enough to drink, they placed 8 bottles of Watsons mineral water in the room the next day.

Excellent! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong. It truly lives up to its star rating; both the service and decor are top-notch. The location is fantastic, with plenty of places to explore nearby. It's very clean. They upgraded my room upon check-in, and while the size is standard for a double room on the mainland, for Hong Kong, it felt incredibly spacious! Transportation is super convenient. There's a dedicated bus stop called 'Metropark Hotel Kowloon,' and the hotel also offers hourly shuttle buses to the Mong Kok area. For tourists, it's incredibly practical; the hotel's G-floor has a dedicated luggage storage area with staff to register items and provide luggage tags. There's even a scale nearby, which is very handy for weighing luggage before flights. What's more, the common advice about needing a power adapter for Hong Kong hotels isn't a concern here! They have USB charging ports, and even 30W fast-charging ports. Compared to the cost and time of traveling back and forth from Shenzhen, this hotel is truly an excellent value for money choice!

The hotel is conveniently located near the Sai Ying Pun MTR station, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy for dining and shopping. However, many eateries only accept cash. I booked a high-floor, sea-view king room, and the view was exactly as pictured. The only minor drawback is that the room's soundproofing isn't great; I could clearly hear conversations in the hallway. Overall, it's fine for a solo traveler, but it might feel a bit cramped for two people.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's a two-minute walk downstairs to the Avenue of Stars, and you can enjoy the Victoria Harbour views as you stroll along the coast, passing attractions like K11, Harbour City, and the Clock Tower. Both the MTR and ferry are conveniently accessible, and there are many dining options nearby. You can also choose a room with an extra bed. At around 700 yuan during the off-season, it's a top choice.

Simple and clean. Comfortable, quiet and practical. Location was good for what we wanted and transport easily available. Had a nice view from our room and the staff kindly made sure our kids were across the hall. Only one thing: avoid returning to the hotel between 1930-2030 as it’s when the tour groups check in and the queue for the lifts snakes through the lobby. Other guests are meant to be allowed to use the back lift but we only learnt this upon check out. All in all, perfect for what we needed. Great price for a simple, clean service.
