The room is not big, and because of the shape, you have to bend down in some places, but the view of the hotel is so beautiful. The lake should be very beautiful in summer. The buffet dinner and breakfast are also very rich. It is the best place to stay in this trip. The best dining in Finnish hotels

I highly recommend this hotel! It's located right in the city center, directly across from the Tourist Information Center where you can book all sorts of day trips upon arrival. There are tons of restaurant choices nearby. Getting to Santa Claus Village is super easy from here too – just catch the bus at the main road behind the Tourist Information Center. It's only 7 euros round trip per person and runs every 20 minutes, which is really convenient. The hotel also has a sauna, perfect for warming up and shaking off the cold after a winter day. The front desk staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is plentiful. I'd definitely stay here again next time!

The staff was excellent and service good. Happy that the man course for dinner was included in the price. A good touch since it was really cold and would have been a challenge to go out for dinner. We were also lucky enough to catch the northern lights. Considering the amount we paid, I was expecting a bit more amenities and faculties - like a public sauna or/and a steam room. The room was also bit cold and underfloor heating in the bathroom would have been good. To be fair, we were there during the coldest weather spell in Rovaniemi for 10 years (so we we’re told) with temp dipping to as low as 35 deg C.

The customer service was excellent, everyone was kind, and I was glad I chose this hotel from the start. Even though I arrived earlier than check-in time, my room was ready so I was allowed to check in early. There was a tour company right in front of the hotel, and the ski resort was nearby, so there were lots of things to do and it was convenient.

Right in Santa Claus village. If you come in the winter, it’s a good location and there will be many activities inside the village. But if you come here in other seasons like us, there will be boring and far from the downtown because lots of activities are stopped. You can take bus no.4 or Santa clause express to downtown at cost. Room with sauna is very good experience

The front desk is in a large house, decorated with many Christmas things. When I first opened the door to the room, there was a smell of wood, but it disappeared later. I thought the bathroom was quite clean, but the shower was limited to 13 minutes and there wasn't much hot water, so I didn't wash my hair for two nights. The bacon for breakfast is delicious. The environment nearby is very good, close to the sea and a small forest. It feels like Kemi is not big and there are not many people there, so I like it quite a bit. There is a supermarket nearby, and there are many restaurants on the beach. It was stuffy inside the cathedral. I didn’t see any gems in the Gem Museum, and the square in front was a flea market.

Our stay in the glass igloo was amazing! The accommodation was very clean, and it included all the necessary amenities. It even came with a kitchenette. We were fortunate to see the aurora borealis just outside our igloo on the night we arrived, and watching the sunrise from the igloo was simply magical. The meals at the resort were fantastic. I would highly recommend the Fox Arctic Glass Igloo Resorts for a memorable experience.

Very good and homey hotel. Front Desk being very nice, giving useful advice in transport and travel information. They allow earlier check-in too if room already available! Be careful on toilet as the water may leak on ground, it is design problem nothing can be changed though. From city centre to hotel is a 7 mins walk (without luggage) (little upslope), which is already a very convenient choice in Rovaniemi In summary, is a highly recommended hotel for your stay in Rovaniemi!

The best!!! The best!!! The front desk staff were kind and even made the effort to contact me if the aurora appeared. The property is very large and they provided a car to take you to your accommodation from the front desk. I was able to refresh myself by taking a walk around the property during the day. It was summer so I didn't see any reindeer, but I could hear them crowing. I would definitely like to come in winter next time to see the reindeer. The room was also very clean and nice. I was also very satisfied with the sauna. The breakfast at the restaurant also had a very Finnish feel to it. The bread was delicious.

XXiaojiejieIn the mountains~ It is more convenient to drive by yourself! There are not many people, very quiet~ It takes about half an hour to drive from Santa Claus Village Drive into the woods of the hotel. There is a kind of lonely beauty!! It is also very mysterious... There are also deer in the hotel! It’s a pity that I didn’t see the northern lights this time

JJon LiangWe stayed at Pyhalinna and overall found the apartment itself to be decent. The facilities inside the unit were quite complete and convenient. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — the bed sheets were not clean when we arrived. The funny (and slightly frustrating) part was that after we reported it, someone came to do a light cleaning of the room (even though we were previously told mid-stay cleaning required an extra fee), but the sheets still weren’t changed. The property is ski-in/ski-out and located next to the “family slope,” but there are many areas that really need improvement. First of all, for beginners without a car, it takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the base area to rent equipment(experienced can use the shop on the mountain), and the path is quite unsafe. Honestly, this alone almost made me give a one-star review. Secondly, the so-called family slope wasn’t fully open, and the upper section was surprisingly steep — definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly run. Returning the rental equipment was also inconvenient; you must ski all the way to the bottom because the shop on the mountain doesn’t accept returns. After returning our equipment, we were very lucky that the ski patrol officer Markus kindly offered to take us back up the hotel. We really appreciated his help — without him, it would have been another long and difficult walk. There are simply many practical issues that should be improved. I truly hope the resort can learn from more established ski destinations to create a safer and more beginner-friendly experience. The positive interactions with the staff were the main reason we didn’t give this place a one-star rating — they truly made a difference despite the other issues. Really thank you, Coach Joni, Peter, Markus, Joonathan and the other staff I didn’t get your name.

GGorGorGirlThis was our first trip to Finland and our first time staying in a glass igloo, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The only inconvenience was that we couldn't drive directly to our room; all cars had to be parked in a central lot. If you have a lot of luggage, be prepared for a bit of a trek as you'll have to pull it all the way to your room. If you have too much luggage and your room is far, the front desk does offer sleds to help you push it along. 😂 But it's understandable, as there are many people walking around the property, and with all the glass igloos, cars driving around would definitely compromise privacy and create light pollution. Our room type didn't look very big, but it actually had a separate sofa area for relaxing, and there was plenty of space on both sides of the bed. We were able to open up three large suitcases with room to spare. Most importantly, there were many power outlets in the room, which was incredibly convenient. The food provided was also quite good, with very fresh vegetables. We had satisfying dinners and breakfasts, and there were many choices for tea, coffee, and desserts. For those who enjoy alcohol, you can purchase it at the bar at your own expense. The overall service was excellent. The hotel offers many activities for an additional cost, so you can easily fill your days and then rest up to chase the Northern Lights at night. The hotel also provides a free Aurora borealis notification app (which usually costs money) that was very accurate. Basically, as soon as we received a notification, we could get ready and see the Northern Lights. Whether striking various poses in our room or walking around the hotel grounds, we saw beautiful auroras. This trip to Finland, staying in the glass igloo, truly made our dreams come true and completed our journey.

GGuest UserBuffet breakfast, diversified styles, my favorite salmon, eggplant juice beans and wheat skin, and a self-service waffles machine, let the guests make their own waffles 🧇, hot and very delicious! The hotel is on the side of the river in River Juutua, you can see the beautiful view of the river in the restaurant and room, first-class enjoyment! The front desk clerk was happy to answer our questions, and some were smiling! The waiters and food in the hotel restaurant (Aanaar) reached the level of a 5-star hotel. When serving, each dish will be explained, what is its main dish, side dish and juice! The most unfortunately, the thermostat does not have temperature, and the weather is not too cold. There is a hot tube for drying clothes in the bathroom, and the wet clothes are drying quickly!

EEmconcBad management during check in. I book an Apartment for 2 nights for this stay but I got the room for 1 night each. Staff told me I have to change room tomorrow and check out at 12PM. So that mean first night I stay and tomorrow check out 12PM and wait for a new room. Also, the apartment is very far from reception. Luckily, I have a car. Imagine if I don't have a car, I have to carry big luggage from the apartment to reception to check out and wait for new room later and move my luggage to new room again, how was it? Moreover, when I check out at 12PM staff told me the room will ready for check in around 2 hours. Then came back to check in again for second at 3PM another staff told me the room is not ready yet and policy for the Apartment check in time is 6PM. ***!!! I said I need the room now because this is unacceptable. Then staff told me the room is ready and give me the key card. So, for this situation I waste the time for half day to pack my luggage, move a lot of luggage to my car with a lot of snow, check out, go to reception for check out, wait the new room, wait, wait, wait, and come back to check in and got very bad answer that she told the room is not ready, and go to check in again, move my luggage to new apartment with a lot of snow, and take a rest. VERY BAD!!!!!
