"The room is lovely, not very large, but the design is very well thought out. The large window lets in plenty of natural light. The facilities are new and modern, and I especially liked the double automatic blinds. The staff are friendly and charming; the lady at the reception desk remembered my name as soon as I arrived and enthusiastically helped me book a taxi. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food is meticulously prepared and delicious."

"좋은 호텔이지만 의사소통이 잘 안되는 불편함이 있고 본래는 내일까지 머무러기 위해서 하루 더 예약을 햇지만 오늘 오후에 한명이 먼저 가게 되어서 호텔 프론터에서 체크아웃하는 과정에서 트러블이 생김.즉 늦게 퇴실하니 추가요금을 내라고 함.우리는 추가로 1박을 예약햇고 돈까지 다 지불햇지만 사정이 생겨서 한명이 먼저가는것이다라고 설명을 햇지만 이해를 못하고 계속 우겨서 에어컨도 안되는 더운 카운터에서 1시간넘게 이야기하다가 이야기가 안되서 고객센터에서는 호텔이 연락이 안된다고 그래서 어떻게 해드릴것이 없다고 함. 매번 느끼는 거지만 돈은 벌고 책임은 안지는 그런 접객태도 여전하네요.먼 외국에서 연락을 하고 문의를 하면 좀 더 고객 친화적으로 상담해주시기 바랍니다.문제가 생기면 여전히 해결은 손님 알아서 해라.대단하십니다.직원교육!"

"very neat, clean, efficient and minimalistic room design. i love the futuristic vibe! great lightning all over with smart design. every minute spent at Tru by Sojo was worth it. good view from a big window, cable TV, mini bar, cleaning room (50k VND per use), gym. i just love how efficient the hotel room is, chef’s kiss! decent breakfast for the price. just pho and the basic american breakfast. staffs are decent, relatively young. they have interesting books in the lobby, too. recommended, fairly high price nevertheless."

"The hotel pretty much lives up to its description. The room was good and clean: crisp bed linen, towels, and toiletries – all up to standard. The breakfast was very good for Vietnam, with a buffet that offered a good variety. We also had lunch at the same restaurant and really enjoyed the green salad and pumpkin soup. However, the chicken and corn soup was a bit unusual and not to our taste, but that's subjective. The pool is large and offers a view of the castle (on a clear day). There are a few quirks though: the pool is on one floor, while the spa area, saunas, and fitness center are on another. For some reason, the spa, saunas, and fitness center weren't operating, which was a shame because we would have happily used them on the second day when the weather was bad. There were also some minor issues with the pool area. The lockers in the changing rooms don't have keys, and you only get towels if you pay a cash deposit. This system seemed a bit odd, as usually you leave your room key as a deposit. We found a workaround by going down to the pool in our bathrobes and using towels from our room. But this was also inconvenient because of the high humidity in the city; things don't dry well, so the towels ended up staying wet. In our opinion, the hotel should separate the guest flows: for staying guests, a card deposit for towels, and for non-staying visitors, a separate payment or membership. The front desk staff were very responsive and always helped quickly. We had trouble booking a Grab taxi from Tam Dao to the airport – no cars were available. A staff member at reception quickly helped us solve the issue, and within 10 minutes, we were on our way to the airport. We really liked the hotel and would love to return, as the weather didn't allow us to visit all the places we had planned."

"The hotel's surroundings are quiet and comfortable, and the well-developed infrastructure makes for a convenient stay. Two rooms are convenient, allowing for cooking, a beautiful view, and a pleasant stroll around the area."

"I was visiting a friend who lives in this part of Hanoi, and she recommended this hotel. It is pretty new, and it shows. When I arrived on a Saturday, lots of young girls were taking selfies in the elegant reception area and the adjoining cafe. I particularly liked the fact the hotel was so accepting. The staff spoke English, and were friendly, and the hotel was excellent. I highly recommend it, especially considering it was exceptionally cheap for the clean, modern decor and location (assuming you're visiting this area). Very pleased :)"

"I searched Google Maps and drove, but the location was not accurate. There are not many restaurants around the hotel because it is rural. (You have to go out more than 10KM to find a restaurant) The staff at the hotel were so friendly. Room condition is very good. The pool is not well maintained, there is no towel to wipe your body after swimming, and the water temperature is not warm. More than 90% of hotel guests are Vietnamese, most of them are polite when swimming and smell of sweat in the water. I personally don't think I'll visit again because of Vietnamese guests."
