Changsha·Changjiazhai Scenic Area Hiking

This route is my favorite hiking route in Changsha, without a doubt! The day before yesterday, Sunday, we went hiking as usual, and this time we chose the Changjiazhai Scenic Area. Although it's called a scenic area, it's somewhat abandoned, and the visitor center is closed. Departing from Changsha city, we drove to the 'Beishan Forest Park Visitor Center'. After getting off the car, we hardly saw anyone. The Changjiazhai Scenic Area is a small loop from the entrance to the exit, with an ascent of about 100 meters, and the whole journey takes about 2 hours. The first half of the route is a steep bamboo forest, and the second half is a relatively gentle high mountain rhododendron. The mountain road here is a sightseeing route maintained by the scenic area. There are handrails in the steeper places. The mountain road is rugged and steep. It is recommended that young children and elderly people should not come here. There is no route sign at the entrance. There is a free parking lot in front of the visitor center, and there is a restroom at the back. The entrance to the scenic area is a very inconspicuous place. After coming out of the restroom, there is a small road to the left in the direction of the main road (see the last picture) which is the entrance to the scenic area.
