Sichuan Museum Adventure: A Treasure Quest in the River of History

Explore more, see more, feel more. After several days of travel, having experienced the awe of Sanxingdui and the accumulation of the Chengdu Museum, I seem to have developed a bit of aesthetic fatigue. Why do we travel off-peak? There are no dazzling special exhibitions during the slack season, only the Russian children's illustrator's exhibition seems worth a look. Facing each exhibit and conversing with the past, I saw many children either copying the exhibits or taking notes from the explanations. I am truly happy for these kids. The contrast between this kind of growth and the obsession with electronic products is so obvious. Here, I saw the seven-stringed qin from the Tang dynasty used for striking ice in Shijian. I saw the world's majestic lion king thangka from the Qing dynasty. I also saw the cheerful Eastern Han dynasty pottery figurines of storytellers... Seeing the long history of this Brocade Official City, falling in love with a city doesn't take long.
