RED LOTUS SEA

The Red Lotus Sea is more of an interior lake than a sea, and the lotus flowers are more pink than red, but it's still a beautiful sight to witness a carpet of full lotus blooms reaching far into the distance. The lake is one of Udon Thani's most popular tourist attractions, yet it is relatively unknown to foreign visitors, making it a great off-the-beaten-path site to visit. Nong Han Lake appears to be an ordinary lake for the majority of the year. The blooming of hundreds of pink lotus blossoms on the lake's surface, however, transforms it into a magnificent pink vision for three months of the year.
