Nikiszowiec - mining town from the past

Nikiszowiec was one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. Located on the outskirts of Katowice, this old mining town has the spirit of the past epoch. Old fashioned houses made from brown bricks and hand painted windows are something unique. Apart from houses and mines, the district has other numerous sites, like a park, church, square and a couple of restaurants. It's the most wonderful place in Katowice you can spend a weekend at.
