How to choose? Ulan Butong vs Saihanba

Ulan Butong and Saihanba, although administratively different, are both located on the infinitely scenic Weichang Plateau. Ulan Butong in the north, means 'red hill' in Mongolian, belongs to Keshiketeng Banner in Inner Mongolia. In 1964, a military horse farm was established here to provide war horses for border defense. Saihanba in the south, means 'beautiful ridge' in Mongolian, is under the jurisdiction of Weichang County, Hebei. The two places are divided by the winding Turgen River. Ulan Butong is surrounded by mountains and water, with beautiful lakes and mountains. Saihanba was once a barren hill due to war, but later it was filled with artificial forests and turned green again. Today, the vast forest is already the 'source of the river, the hometown of the clouds, the world of flowers'. Although the customs of the two places are different, the scenery is unique and makes people linger.
