Preah Enkosei Temple, wonderful place

Getting There - Preah Enkosei Temple is located on the east of Siem Reap river and about 5 minutes from Royal Residence. Attractions - This temple was built in the 10th century under the reign of king Rajendravarman II (944-968) according to inscription K268. In keeping with 10th century precedent the temple is built almost entirely of brick with a handful of sandstone features such as pediments and door jambs. A highlight of the temple is its lintel above the doorway of the central tower, featuring an unusual upper band, a place commonly reserved for a frieze of worshippers but in this case holding a representation of the Churning of the Sea of Milk including Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahama.
