The palace before the Qing Dynasty entered the pass | Shenyang Imperial Palace
| Shenyang Imperial Palace. Shenyang Imperial Palace is distinct from the Forbidden City in Beijing due to its unique historical and geographical conditions and strong Manchu characteristics. It is one of the existing complete palace architectural complexes.
It was the royal palace before the Qing Dynasty entered the pass, and it was also the Shengjing Palace after the Qing Dynasty moved to Beijing. Its architectural style of 'high palace and low hall' is also unique in the history of Chinese palace architecture.
Shenyang Imperial Palace covers an area of more than 60,000 square meters, with 114 ancient buildings and more than 500 rooms. It is a well-preserved architectural site with rich historical and cultural connotations.
Shenyang Imperial Palace can be divided into three parts according to the layout and construction sequence.
The most famous of them: The Dazheng Hall, commonly known as the Octagonal Hall, was built in 1625. It was an important palace built by Emperor Nurhachi of the Qing Dynasty and is the most solemn and sacred place in the Shengjing Palace.
Ten pavilions are arranged in sequence on both sides of the Dazheng Hall. From north to south, the east side is Zhenghuangqi Pavilion, Zhenghongqi Pavilion, Xianglanqi Pavilion, Zhengbaiqi Pavilion; the west side is Xianghuangqi Pavilion, Xianghongqi Pavilion, Zhenglanqi Pavilion, Xiangbaiqi Pavilion, a total of ten pavilions, known as 'Ten Wang Pavilion'.
Middle Road: Daqing Gate, Chongzheng Hall, Phoenix Tower, Qingning Palace, etc.
West Road: It was built in the 46th year of Qianlong (1781), from south to north are the Dressing Room, Stage, Jiayin Hall, Palace Gate, Wensu Pavilion, Yangxi Studio, Stele Pavilion and Jiujian Hall, etc.
Walking to the backyard, after visiting the sleeping halls of various palace concubines, I felt how low the status of ancient women was. For the first time, I observed the interior facilities of the sleeping hall at such a close distance. In that small room, looking at the sky in all directions, I spent a short life here.
Guide | Once the birthplace, two generations of emperors
| Once the birthplace, two generations of emperors. The world cultural heritage is a palace and two tombs:
Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum + Qing Zhaoling + Qing Fuling
Today's introduction is about the Shenyang Imperial Palace
——————
The Qing Dynasty was established here, historically known as Shengjing. After the Qing moved its capital, this place became the royal palace, and more often it was the place where the emperors of the past generations lived and handled affairs when they came back to worship their ancestors
——
In my opinion, the most worthwhile palaces to see are: Chongzheng Hall, Dazheng Hall, Phoenix Building, Wenshu Pavilion, Back Garden and Stage
Chongzheng Hall: It is the place where the plaque of 'Zhengda Guangming' is hung
Dazheng Hall: It is the place where the Eight Banners discuss politics
Phoenix Building: It is hung with 'Purple Qi Coming from the East', and it is also a rare four-story building in ancient times
Wenshu Pavilion: It was originally the place where the 'Four Treasuries' were stored, and it is also the only palace with green and black as the main colors
Back Garden: There is a display of ancient ice making, as well as rockeries and fairy-like pavilions
Stage: The entertainment venue has some different structures

Various cultural and creative souvenirs can be bought at the place where the stamp is stamped. There are several kinds of creative ice creams, which taste good and are suitable for taking pictures. There is a coffee shop and a milk tea shop in the parking lot at the exit, selling various drinks and desserts related to the palace

The road at the entrance of the Forbidden City, to the east is Fujin Gate, and to the west is Huaiyuan Gate. The lights at night are also very beautiful
There is a small temple on the north side of the Forbidden City, called Zhongxin Temple. The wall of the Forbidden City is not square, it is actually for this temple to make way. This temple is also the center of Shencheng during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Now it is enshrined in Guan Gong

It takes about half a day to visit the Shenyang Imperial Palace as a whole. It is closed on Monday (except for statutory holidays). There are many halls that need to queue up for visits when there are many people. Most of the visits are outdoors. It is recommended to do a good job of sun protection. Renting a set of Manchu costumes for taking pictures is also good
The Forbidden City is one of the world's most famous palaces and the first of the world's five major palaces. When I mentioned the Forbidden City, I first thought of the Forbidden City in Beijing, the palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. However, when the Qing Dynasty, there were actually two royal palaces. The first one was not in Beijing but in the northeast.
Shenyang also has a Forbidden City. It was the Imperial Palace in the early Qing Dynasty. It is the same as the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is one of the two existing palace complexes in China. The palace was built in the ten years of the Golden Age (1625) and has a history of nearly 400 years. The
Shenyang Imperial Palace is divided into three parts: East Road, Middle Road and West Road, which were built in different years. The East Road was first built, and the Dazheng Temple and the Ten Wang Pavilion built during the Nurhachi period were the places where the emperor held the "Great Ceremony" and the Eight Banners Minister. Soon after, the construction of the middle road was completed, including Daqingmen, Chongzheng Hall, Fenghuang Building and Qingning Palace. The construction of
West Road was relatively late. It was built after the entry into the customs. At that time, the Shenyang Imperial Palace was no longer the palace. The West Road was completed in 1782. It was the place where the Emperor of the Qing Dynasty "Shengdu" Shengjing (Shenyang), reading and watching the opera and storing the "Siku Quanshu".
Compared with the Forbidden City in Beijing, the size of the Shenyang Imperial Palace is much smaller, only 60,000 square meters, less than one tenth of the size of the Forbidden City in Beijing (the area of the Forbidden City in Beijing is 720,000 square meters).
