Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Breakfast
The breakfast is a semi buffet style. There is a menu with a variety of main dishes you can choose from (no limits to the number of dishes you can order), as well as different ways of egg preparation. Buffet is quite extensive with a wide variety of cuisine, food, beverages, and even ice cream.
To be honest, taste was so so and no change in the breakfast menu in the two days I had breakfast there. The decor of the restaurant is very interesting and you can take your time to appreciate them.

Spectacular Designed Hotel Well Worth a Stay
Positives:
- Huge toilet and toilet separated between wet and dry
- quirky room design and a lot of small details. Can sense the attention paid in designing the room
- comfortable bed
- bedside charging (usb ports included)
- media panel (hdmi port, audio etc… also located bedside)
- 49 inch tv is big enough given distance from bed to tv
- complimentary mini bar items (though it is just two small bottles of soft drinks and 2 packets of snacks that is not refilled enough though I stayed two nights)
- pillow menu
- stand-alone bathtub comes with a view!
- speakers in room and toilet

Pier 1, Roof Top bar in Kaohsiung
Pier 1 is a rooftop located on the last floor of Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Central Park. The location is very good almost like a city center. Not far from MRT station. The bar has a good choice of drinks 🍻 and food. Glasses for cocktails are huge. For hotel guests and members are 10% discounts. Every month have different promotions.

Conveniently located next to Kaohsiung Central Park, close to the MRT station and the new Ximending shopping district, with a cooperating parking lot available.
Thanks to my membership, I was upgraded to a luxurious king-size double bed room, with complimentary breakfast included, at an approximate weekday rate of 4500 New Taiwan dollars. The deluxe room spans about 40 square meters, featuring a large bathroom with a bathtub, and stylish blue hexagonal wall tiles; the bedroom has one large bed and a sofa, with a colorful signature mosaic headboard, and big welcoming phrases like 'Welcome' and 'Dagou' in both local and fashionable styles; but the best part is the large floor-to-ceiling window, allowing you to gaze at the cityscape from the comfort of your bed, which is incredibly cool!
The rooftop bar at Indigo is also quite famous, with an Instagram-worthy ball pit, neon lights, and a large projection screen. Ordering crispy chicken with beer, enjoying the night view, and feeling the breeze is super chill. Breakfast is another highlight, featuring made-to-order specialty seafood congee and a variety of noodles. After finishing, you can order other flavors; you'll want to try each one, if only your stomach were bigger!
