【Weihai Snow Chasing Day Tour Guide】
🎉Dear friends, I am here to share my Weihai snow chasing day tour guide! As a southerner, I always have a mysterious longing for snow. Hearing that it would snow heavily in Weihai, I didn't hesitate to take the train to Weihai. Although it was hard all the way, when I saw the snowy Weihai, all the fatigue disappeared.
🎈【Route】
1️⃣ High-speed train to Weihai North Station: Taking the high-speed train to Weihai is a fast and convenient choice. You can check the train number and seat type in advance and choose the right ticket according to your needs.
2️⃣ Bus direct to Torch Eight Street: After leaving Weihai North Station, you can take the bus directly to Torch Eight Street. The scenery here is particularly beautiful, especially when it snows, the streets are decorated like a poem.
3️⃣ Weihai International Seawater Bathing Beach: This is a very long beach, which is decorated in silver after snowing. You can empty yourself here, listen to the sound of the waves, and enjoy the tranquility of nature.
4️⃣ South Gate of Linhai Park: There are many pine trees planted in Linhai Park, which covers a large area. The snow here is very thick, you can play as much as you want, lie directly in the snow, and feel the softness and coolness of the snow.
5️⃣ West Gate of Linhai Park: The gate building of the west gate is very special, and the color is beautiful when the light shines on it. Taking photos here is definitely a good choice.
💡【Precautions】
1️⃣ Cold, wind and water protection: Be sure to wear down jackets, hats and gloves to prevent the cold wind. At the same time, choose anti-slip and waterproof shoes to ensure safe walking.
2️⃣ Safety first: When playing by the sea, be sure to pay attention to safety and keep a certain distance from the waves.
3️⃣ Photography skills: When shooting scenery, you can try to shoot small scenes and avoid crowds. At the same time, make good use of natural light and the white background of the snow scene to take beautiful photos.
💌I hope this guide can help your trip! If you have any questions or need more advice, feel free to ask me! Let's enjoy the beauty of the snow scene in Weihai together!❄️
This is not abroad, this is Weihai!!
This is not a foreign country, nor is it Korea or Japan, this is the most beautiful seaside city in the country, Weihai!
Half is the sea, half is romance
Weihai Travel Guide, Shandong

🚅High-speed train: From various places to Weihai North Station or Weihai Station, take a taxi or bus to the hotel after getting off.
✈️Airplane: Flights from various places to Weihai Airport, after leaving the airport, take a shuttle bus or taxi to the hotel.
🚘Self-driving: It is recommended for friends around Shandong to drive themselves, and if you have time, you can also visit the surrounding cities.
🛵Sightseeing: It is recommended to rent an electric scooter🛵 as the attractions are relatively close to each other. It's hard to hail a taxi 🚕 when it's crowded, and walking is tiring, so it's more convenient to use an electric scooter.

Weihai | Lazy Person's Guide for a 3-Day 2-Night Trip, Taking You on a Leisurely Journey to Avoid Pitfalls
May Day back to my hometown, took a side trip to the neighboring Weihai for a few days, and based on my experience, I compiled a leisurely travel guide, hoping to help everyone avoid pitfalls~ Because I'm personally quite lazy, the pace of the guide is also relatively relaxed, sisters who want to relax and travel can refer to it~
Itinerary:
DAY 1: Weihai Station (arrive at noon) — Xiaoshi Island — Torch Eight Street — International Seaside Bathing Beach (sunset)
DAY 2: Half Moon Bay (sunrise) — Jiangguzui — Cat Head Mountain — Haiyuan Park
DAY 3: Weihai Park — Yuehai Park — Korean Supermarket — Return trip
Little tips:
👗Clothing:
1. The seaside weather is cool in the morning and evening, long pants and a jacket are essential if you plan to watch the sunrise or sunset
2. Sisters who take photos in short skirts must wear a jacket when going out, which can be taken off at random for photos
3. The sea in Weihai is azure blue, with lots of green trees, matching well with the Korean style, and is very photogenic
🍲Food:
1. Korean cuisine: A must-try, but not necessarily those popular stores with long queues, because many of them taste quite similar, and it doesn't seem worth it to queue for too long. Choose several options and switch according to the situation. Recommendations: Mama's Hand, Li Jia Korean Cuisine, Taipei Little City, Han Xiang Fu Spine Soup Pot, Zhen Wei Rice Intestine Soup Rice
2. Seafood: Seafood in Weihai is quite affordable, both steamed and barbecue restaurants are pretty good. Oysters and hairtail dumplings are must-try items. Recommendations: Shi Hai Steamed Fresh, Ju Peng Big Hairtail Dumplings, Ru Shi Hai
3. Seaweed Buns: Weihai's specialty dead dough buns, small in size, with thin skin and fresh vegetables, can be ordered in the hotel for breakfast to experience. Recommendations: Shan Hou, Our Mother's Home
4. Korean Supermarket: If you want to bring back local products, take a stroll in the Korean supermarket, where there is a rich variety of snacks, as well as kimchi and tteok, which are quite tasty. Recommendations: Qun Xiang Mart, Ji Er Wo
🏠Stay:
1. This time I stayed near Torch Eight Street and Half Moon Bay, which was really convenient for the two-day itinerary
2. If you find the peak season seaside room prices too high, you can also choose to stay in the city, which is relatively more affordable
🛵Transport:
1. Weihai has many slopes, renting an electric bike will make it much more convenient to get around. Especially near Half Moon Bay, where the attractions are not far apart, one bike can cover them all
2. If you want to go to the Blueship Wreck and Naxiang Sea, try to arrange them on the same day, as they are far from the city center, and you can self-drive, carpool, or charter a car
📷Play:
1. Torch Eight Street is super crowded, you can take a look to feel the atmosphere, but there's no need to waste too much time. If you want to capture the feeling of the street ending with the sea, you can choose Beishan Road
2. You can stroll from Half Moon Bay to Jiangguzui, and you must stick to the coastline, not the navigation! The coastal path is less crowded, making it easy to take photos freely
3. The stones on the seaside are super slippery, and the reefs are very sharp, so if you bring children, you must watch them carefully
4. Weihai's temperature varies a lot, remember to check the weather forecast before going out. To watch the sunrise or sunset, check the time in advance on the mini-program, so you don't miss it!
Weihai's most beautiful photography spots have blown up my friends' circle
May Day holiday is here in Weihai!
I really love this romantic seaside town
The Beishan Road leading to the sea
The orange-scented Nashanhai under the sunset
And the strong scent of life coming from the Korean restaurants
All are the city's awkward yet sincere confessions
Stayed for three days, organized 9️⃣ stunning check-in spots, as well as a detailed guide for off-the-beaten-path check-ins, recommended to save~
1️⃣ Beishan Road
Here, without the crowds of Torch Street, the island and the sea seem to be an extension of romance and freedom
2️⃣ Pebble Beach
Facing the sea, listening to the wind blowing through the mountains and forests, watching the waves crash against the rocks, experiencing the audio-visual feast brought by the mountains and the sea
3️⃣ Nashanhai
The windmills and the sea at sunset record the romance of the moment, the foam rolled up by the waves is carried by the wind to a faraway place never visited
4️⃣ Weihai Film and TV City
The lonely castle stands on the coast, walking on the beach, as if traveling through a medieval oil painting
5️⃣ Brewis Bay
Sunken ships, seagulls, waves, the long-stranded giant ship is already a reason for many tourists to come to Weihai
6️⃣ Yuanyao Pier
Time interweaves, the ruins contrast with the past bustle. Being there always brings an indescribable sense of solitude
7️⃣ Yandunjiao
The swan lake at Yandunjiao at sunset is really healing, each swan seems to be draped in a layer of golden gauze by the sunset
8️⃣ Haiyuan Park
Returning fishing boats dock in the harbor, standing on the rocks looking into the distance, feeling the coolness brought by the oncoming sea breeze
9️⃣ Cat Head Mountain
At sunset, the sky gradually turns orange, and the distant little cat quietly lies on the sea level, so comfortable
📝 3-day 2-night travel itinerary
𝐃𝐚𝐲: Yuehai Park ➠ Grape Beach Bathing Beach ➠ Jinhaiwan Pier ➠ Torch Street ➠ Oulefang
𝐃𝐚𝐲: Beishan Road ➠ Jiangguzu ➠ Pebble Beach ➠ Cat Head Mountain
𝐃𝐚𝐲: Brewis ➠ Yandunjiao ➠ Nashanhai
🚗 About transportation
There is currently no subway in Weihai city center, and the attractions are quite scattered. For those who feel that taking taxis back and forth is expensive, it is recommended to use Hello Ride-sharing, which is nearly half cheaper than taking a taxi. It saves both time and money, and booking is very convenient. With the purchase of the 'Sure Appointment Compensation' service, there is no need to worry about the driver cancelling and delaying the trip. If the driver cancels, a refund of three times the amount is provided
🍽️ Food guide
Who can resist an authentic Korean meal when in Weihai?! Navigate to Binzhou North Street, any restaurant you choose is delicious~Recommended: Mom's Hand
Weihai
Weihai is a place I've thought about for a long time. This summer, I finally fulfilled my wish to see the sea in Weihai - an endless ocean, with boats swaying on the surface accompanied by the sunset, dreamlike and breathtakingly beautiful, as if I was in a wonderful dream. - For this set of photos, I made a special trip to Weihai🌊 - Sharing Weihai photos📸
1️⃣ Torch Street No.8 A landmark street in Weihai, known as 'Little Kamakura' in Weihai, the end of the road is the sea🌊. If you want to capture Torch Street No.8 with fewer people, I suggest going there at four or five in the morning.
2️⃣ Cat Head Mountain How can Weihai's beauty be complete without Cat Head Mountain? The winding mountain roads, each road is a different view, don't miss any of the viewing platforms, Cat Head Mountain is the most beautiful coastline in my heart🌊
3️⃣ International Bathing Beach The sunset here is simply too beautiful, the sand is very fine, and the water is clear. Buy two bottles of Corona beer, and you can easily take photos that feel like a masterpiece📸
4️⃣ Weihai Park Here is the landmark building of Weihai - the Big Picture Frame🖼️, with people in the frame and the blue sea behind.
5️⃣ Haiyuan Park You must visit Haiyuan Park when you come to Weihai, with crystal clear water, swaying fishing boats, and a mountain greenway.
6️⃣ Jiming Island A very, very, very niche island in China, it was the filming location for the variety show 'Where Are We Going, Dad?'. Boarding the island, there are many seagulls circling in the sky, and the scenery at this moment is really healing.
7️⃣ Half Moon Bay Beach You should always see a romantic sunrise in Weihai, start to welcome a beautiful day, with the morning glow reflected on the sea surface, hoping that the beauty of this moment will stay forever.
8️⃣ Beishan Road A road leading to the sea, under the afterglow of the setting sun is the deep blue sea, walking and enjoying the scenery, Weihai is really too beautiful💗💗 - When you go to Weihai, don't miss these beautiful photo spots‼️‼️
It is recommended to spend three days and two nights slowly experiencing this seaside city of Weihai~
Weihai, a city you'll fall in love with once you visit!

🌈 Torch Eight Street, with its unique architectural style and colorful decorations, every corner of this street is filled with an artistic atmosphere, perfect for photography📷!
🌊 Nashanhai, an excellent seaside resort with broad beaches, clear waters, and a pleasant climate.
🏝 Liugong Island, where you can visit ancient buildings, museums, and historical sites.
🏝 Jiming Island, a secluded little island.
🌅 Chengshantou, the easternmost coastline of mainland China, where you can enjoy the enchanting sea sunrise and sunset~
🍤 Food: There are so many delicious foods in Weihai, especially seafood🦀️. Hanlefang has many special snacks, and you'll be super satisfied😋!
The leisurely comfort of the little Sanya in the north
Weihai is the first small northern city I explored
As soon as you get off the plane, you can feel the island breeze
Coconut trees and greenery line the road, accompanied by the smell of the sea
Everyone is relaxed and natural, comfortable and easy-going
There are no suitable hotels, many homestays, we chose a loft duplex, opening the window you can see the sunrise and sunset
Visited Torch Street No.8, Liugong Island (where you can rent electric cars), had Korean BBQ and Rushan oysters, missed the sunrise at Half Moon Bay but caught the sunset, and also enjoyed a drink by the sea 😊, mainly indulging in sea watching and sea foraging mode, brought back some Weihai dried fish as a specialty (⇀‸↼‶)😅
Torch Street No.8
Liugong Island Expo Park
Half Moon Bay Beach
We didn't have a specific itinerary, just lazily played for five days, if the schedule was tighter could have added Yantai to the trip
Weihai's summer beauty is outstanding

make sure to book this seaside B&B.
With an average cost of 70 RMB per person, you can stay at a stunning Weihai seaside B&B that will make you want to pound the floor in awe.
Walking distance to the beach with a full sea view and floor-to-ceiling windows near Hanlefang.
The sea view room you hesitated to splurge on, now you can stay for 5 days straight and watch the sunrise and sunset over the sea from your bed! If you're not tempted, I'll consider it my loss! Weihai in the off-season is truly breathtaking.
Address: Weihai - Binhai Avenue 355 - Huafa Xintiandi
You can walk to the beach, play in the sand, and enjoy all the seaside activities!
5 minutes to the pier; 10 minutes to the train station and high-speed rail station; 30 minutes to the airport
Right next to Hanlefang, close to Jiulongcheng commercial district
Lie down and watch the sea!! The view is unbeatable!
Huge sea view floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to wake up to the beautiful morning light of the sea every day from your bed, which I believe no girl could resist a sunrise over the sea.
Cream-colored duplex loft, with high-definition projection for screen sharing, perfect for binge-watching dramas and enjoying seafood at night!
There's also a small kitchen for cooking, or you can go to the market to buy seafood
Prepare a feast, with cold drinks and watermelon, eating and drinking while binge-watching is the
perfect way to enjoy a leisurely vacation!!
sebastian_ambrose_thornfield Weihai is beautiful, I'll come back during the off-season next time!
🏝 I took my child to Weihai, Shandong for the National Day holiday. Before coming, I looked through many travel guides and saw a lot of beautiful photos of Weihai. We were lucky to have good weather during our stay in Weihai, but the overwhelming number of tourists during the holiday period made the experience slightly less enjoyable.
·
🌈 I originally planned to visit Torch Eight Streets, but after seeing the dense crowds on social media, I decided to be kind to myself and skip this attraction. If you really want to visit this place during the peak season, I suggest going there at six in the morning.
·
🏖 Taking children to Weihai, the best place is to take them to the beach to play with sand. No child doesn't love sand and water, give them a small bucket and shovel, and they can happily play all day long, while adults just need to sit by and watch them. In Weihai city, the parks with beaches I recommend are Seaside Park and Haiyuan Park, although the latter is too small.
·
👶 As a child-friendly city, Weihai has many parks with free public children's play facilities. I recommend Yuehai Park, where kids can swing and slide. Note that Yuehai Park does not have a beach‼️
·
🏨 For accommodation in Weihai, I recommend staying near Hanlefang and Weihai High-speed Railway Station for convenient transportation, a variety of accommodation options, and easy access to attractions. Hanlefang is a popular night market in Weihai, especially crowded at night, mainly offering Korean cuisine, along with many snacks, and it operates later than other places. Also, Hanlefang is particularly crowded during the tourist season‼️
·
🌟 Overall, Weihai is a city worth visiting for tourism, with a slow pace of life suitable for vacations. But if you want a more in-depth travel experience, it's better to come during the off-season.
Winter in Weihai is absolutely stunning!
If your family still doesn't know where to go for a winter trip, I strongly recommend Weihai!
Weihai is truly a great coastal city, very suitable for everyone to visit before the winter vacation. The local cuisine and specialties, the warmth and sentiment, are all waiting for you.
Winter in Weihai will bring everyone an extraordinary shock, everyone should have a good time! Torch Eight Streets
Weihai Travel Guide
Weihai Travel Must-See: This Weihai travel guide shares the essentials after having visited all the attractions in the three cities and one district, and having tasted all the delicious food in Weihai's urban area. I've compiled a simple guide for your reference. Personally, I think Weihai is the city with the most Nordic temperament and petty bourgeois sentiment in China, and I would like to call it 'China's Copenhagen'. Weihai is not a very large city overall. The urban area is laid out along the coast, with the area near Huan Cui Building and the northern part being the relatively old city area (Gao District), and the southeastern part being the relatively new city area (Economic District). In addition, although Wendeng District is also named after a district, in a strict sense, it is very far from the central urban area, just like Daxing District in Beijing. Be careful not to book a hotel in Wendeng by mistake (unless you really want to go there to play). I personally recommend hotels located in Gao District, with good locations near Oulu Square, near the seaside bathing beach, and near Huan Cui Building. 😄
Weihai is a very rare city suitable for tourism in all four seasons. I personally really like the winter in Weihai, especially if you can go to Tangbo/Tianmu Hot Springs for an outdoor bath, feeling the snowflakes falling and the contrast of ice and fire, that would be wonderful.
Weihai is also a city that can be toured in one day or over a week, with attractions and strategies depending on your time arrangement. If you're looking for a quick tour of one or two days, the city's Happiness Gate + Coastal Avenue all the way to the Economic District, plus the seaside bathing beach/Torch Eight Streets are enough to cover. If you're planning a week-long in-depth tour, some less popular but scenic spots that rival the beauty of Northern Europe can be explored slowly. I recommend places like Banmoon Bay and the northern coastal road, Shuangdao Bay, Likou Mountain, Huafa Xintiandi, and so on, where you can wander around and take beautiful photos. At the same time, since Yantai and Weihai are very close, you can also plan a trip to Yantai.
Weihai's cuisine also has very distinctive regional features, starting with seafood, be sure not to miss the special hairtail dumplings and seaweed buns! Some dishes that Weihai people like to eat include garlic-braised sea anemones, chives fried sea intestines, scallion-blasted sea cucumbers, oil-braised prawns, braised swan eggs, and other traditional Shandong cuisine. In addition, Weihai has one of the largest Korean populations in the country!
Weihai's seaside has a romantic sunken ship with a great atmosphere. You wouldn't know how beautiful and stunning it is until you see it with your own eyes, just like a scene from a movie. Whether it's sunny or cloudy, there's a different kind of beauty. We went there last December, and it happened to be the 15th day of the lunar month. Thinking of capturing the sunset, the sky was very beautiful that day, and we were very happy taking pictures of the evening glow. When we turned around, the moon came out. It turns out that this was the highlight of the trip, the romance was in that unexpected moment. The Bruvis No. 9 sunken ship, which was stranded due to a typhoon, probably the shipowner never expected it to become a landscape, right? It just stands there interpreting loneliness and romance. No matter the sunrise, sunset, or the tide. The seaside in winter is romantic, of course, as long as there is no wind, it's fine. If you come to Weihai and don't know where to start playing? Why not take a look at my collection, I've organized 9 great spots in Weihai suitable for winter: Bruvis No. 9 sunken ship, Yandunjiao, Weihai Park, Yuehai Park, Beishan Road, Jinhaiwan Pier, Torch Eight Streets, Cat Head Mountain Viewing Platform, Xiaoshi Island···...
The charm of Weihai is quite impressive even on a national scale
After visiting so many coastal cities, Weihai is especially unforgettable.
It's a city so romantic that you'd want to settle down without the need for a filter, and its scenery is on par with that of foreign countries!
Spring in Weihai means fewer people and more beautiful scenery, practically having the whole road to the sea to yourself!
I've been to Weihai twice and have put together this travel itinerary & recommended check-in spots for everyone, worth saving⭐️!
📌Weihai 2-Day Tour Itinerary:
Day1⃣️:
Yuehai Park→Weihai Park→Haiyuan Park→Seaside Bathing Beach
Day2⃣️:
Watch the sunrise at Banmoon Bay→Torch Eight Street→Cat Head Mountain→Beishan Road
🚩Recommended Check-in Spots:
✅Torch Eight Street
A controversial internet-famous street leading to the sea, it's really amazing when you go early in the off-season to avoid the crowds and on a sunny day.
✅Cat Head Mountain
Ride an electric scooter along the way with beautiful views, no filter needed on a sunny day with the blue sea and sky, and the coastline can bring you to tears!
✅Haiyuan Park
I love Haiyuan Park so much! The sea is azure, the trees are shady, and walking down the wooden plank road to see the small boats moored on the sea is a delightful surprise, as beautiful as a painting!
✅Beishan Road
The end of the road is the sea, and taking photos of the winding road towards the sea is amazing! Just take photos from the side of the road, but be careful and don't disrupt traffic.
✅Banmoon Bay
The romance of Weihai, with the sunrise and sea each taking half the credit, the sunrise at Banmoon Bay🌅 is absolutely stunning, worth staying up all night to see!
✅Naxianghai
During the day, it's a clean sunny beach with the sea and sky merging into one, and at sunset, it's the romantic windmills under the sunset glow, hard not to love.

A stunningly romantic little island, with a seaside church, a lonely cliffside café, a long coastline, and little daisies among the rocks, so beautiful you won't want to leave the island.
✅Jinshi Bay Art District
Blue sea, blue sky, and seagrass houses, it's like stepping into the world of Hayao Miyazaki's anime. The seagrass houses can sometimes be under maintenance and quite messy, so it's recommended to check their status before visiting.
🏨About Accommodation:
We stayed in the Huancui District, Weihai is not a big city, so it's convenient to stay anywhere.

Dajingyuan tastes good, Hanxiangfu Korean BBQ Manor, Taipei Xiaocheng are also okay, Shuangmendong Korean BBQ is average.
You must try the figs, they're very sweet😋.
🚗About Transportation:
In Weihai city, taking taxis and electric scooters is sufficient, for trips back and forth to Rongcheng you can take a rideshare or rent a car for a self-driving tour.
🔖Weihai Tips:
❶There's a temperature difference between morning and evening, and the seaside wind is strong, so wear something thick and bring a windproof hat;
❷Before going to Jiming Island, check in advance if the boat service to the island is operating, as it may stop during windy and wavy weather;
❸Weihai is located at the easternmost part of the motherland, so the sunrise is very early, check the sunrise time in advance if you plan to watch it;
❹When going to Cat Head Mountain, don't navigate to Cat Head Mountain, navigate to the No. 3 Viewing Platform, you can refer to my previous Cat Head Mountain guide.

The sunrise here is truly lovely In summer, you need to be there at 4:00 AM to quietly enjoy the sunrise with a camping chair, which is also a very romantic memory
Torch Eighth Street
This is a representative spot of Weihai that has gone viral, with a road extending into the sea and colorful houses beside it. Walking towards the sea in the middle of the road and taking photos is really photogenic!
Cat Head Mountain
Along the beautiful coastal road , it's romantic between the mountain and the sea, and in the distance, there really is a little cat lying between them. It's recommended to navigate directly to Cat Mountain Head No. 2 Viewing Platform
Naxiang Sea
The sea here is very blue Windmills + the ocean, definitely a scene from a movie, suitable for sunbathing or sitting in a seaside wooden cabin coffee shop to daydream, a great place to watch a sunset
Jinshi Bay Art District
The popular seaweed houses and the surrounding sea boulevard, on a sunny day, it feels like a scene from a Miyazaki manga, an hour's drive from Weihai City

🔸 Be sure to bring a telephoto lens, otherwise, you can't capture the grand scenes
🔸 Choose a sunny afternoon to go, to ensure the sea is bluer
🔸 A high vantage point is much better than a low one, you can capture the corner road and the ocean
🔸 Weihai is suitable for self-driving, you can rent a car upon arrival
Accommodation Suggestions
International Seawater Bathing Area: First-line sea view, many sea-view B&Bs, slightly far from the city center
Weihai Station Area: Convenient for eating, drinking, and traveling, some hotels have sea views
Food Recommendations
🔹 Hanlefang: Korean seafood barbecue 🦞 Lots of food stalls
🔹 Oulefang: Dongcheng night market has moved here, various affordable snacks
🔹 Buying seafood: Locals go to the docks, like the Heqing Dock in Haiyuan Park
You must visit Weihai at least once
To experience the romance and tenderness of a seaside city
I miss you so much in Weihai
Here, there are few people, and the seagulls are very well-behaved! When you are here, the seagulls come. When the seagulls are hungry, they will tell you, and you can feed them food (corn or sausages). It's very quiet here, with only the sound of the waves and the cries of the seagulls. This place is a popular spot on social media. On weekends, there are a bit more people, but on weekdays, if it rains, it feels like you have the whole seaside to yourself.
You don't have to worry about taking taxis or eating here, as taxis arrive in an instant. Nearby, there is a Jiangfeng wholesale market that is very large, where you can buy anything. As for seafood, it's generally better to go early, but it's not cheap. If you order takeout, it's a matter of luck because not all meals will suit your taste, but the supermarket's hairtail dumplings are quite good. They just have a bit of a fishy smell~
Traveling for Fun | Guide to Torch 8th Street in Weihai
❤Recommended for:
Hello, long time no see, I've been touring around Weihai these days!
My sister finally regained her freedom and left the workplace, so we embarked on a spontaneous journey! This year's hot spot, Weihai!
We didn't intend to visit all the tourist spots in Weihai, perhaps because of the internet celebrity factor, but we prefer to chase romance, colorful, and story-filled places! So we chose these two places, 'Torch 8th Street' and 'Bruise Shipwreck'!
Torch 8th Street, the buildings on this street are full of color, but I think the most attractive part is that the end of the road is the ocean. The ocean always gives us a sense of freedom, a mood that will calm down! So, the end of Torch 8th Street is the sea, its slope gives us the emotion of running towards freedom!
🚉Transportation Guide:
1. In Weihai, the distribution of attractions is particularly balanced, because one is in the east and the other is in the west, it's not like Qingdao where the attractions are almost on one coastline and very close to each other!
2. Therefore, it is also recommended that you choose a few favorite attractions, or if you have time and money, you can rent a car, taking a taxi is also possible!
3. We took a taxi from Weihai Station to Torch 8th Street. There is a short walk, and in five minutes you will see the Torch 8th Street that is rushing to freedom! If you take the bus, it will be close to three hours. Weihai only has buses, no subways! The bus system in Shandong is like this, I remember only Qingdao has a subway!
📷Photo Guide:
📷2-3: The streets of Torch 8th Street are aesthetically pleasing, especially the colorful house at the end and the sea. I know it may give you more of a Korean drama feel, especially in the snow.
So when you take pictures, you can stand in the middle and take a picture with a big background, then walk forward, there are railings, and take portraits with the colorful house as the background!
⚠️: Because it's a popular spot, there are quite a few people, but there will also be some empty spots, so you can take advantage of them when you see them.
❗️: The most important thing is! I found that the 'elimination tool' on the phone is getting more and more powerful! My sister's phone is Huawei mate60, which really shows its intelligence, ❤️After elimination, it will intelligently analyze the surrounding environment and make reasonable repairs❤️, for example, many people can be removed, and the background is perfect, but it is still affected by specific circumstances, so, '❤️When you can't avoid it, choose the least impact to shoot!❤️', of course, many 'photo editing software' can also do it, I have tried it, and even can fill in, wipe it several times! For example, the first picture has people in the background, I wiped it and it added waves for me🌊, 👍
📷4-5: These two spots were randomly chosen by us. There are many beautiful photo spots here, as well as nice little shops, all on the left side facing the sea! p5 is on the wall of a small shop in front of the colorful house, very meaningful, 'The journey, never ends here'
📷6: You can see this spot if you look forward, find the middle position, and take a picture🆗
📷7: On the right side of the crossroads, my sister is a mobile photography master, she can find many hard-to-see spots and compositions, hehe
📷8-10 and p1: These are seaside spots, and there are many photographers setting up stalls to take pictures, depending on your needs, my sister and I relied on a tripod and imagination to take these pictures, it was so fun!
📷11-12: If you face the sea and walk to the right, you will see many of these beach loungers, ❗️This Weihai car is on the other side of the beach❗️, that is, it faces the road! Don't miss it!
📷13: This spot is a coffee shop on the side of the road, ❗️From the stairs of the Weihai car, walk back to Torch 8th Street❗️, there is a small snow-spraying machine, you can see it if you pay attention!
❤️: The little guide to Torch 8th Street ends here, it's a small place, but it's perfect for a slow tour, slow shooting, beautiful photos are inevitable, and a wonderful experience is also inevitable! Go find the sunshine and snow here! Run towards the sea along this little street!
The most important thing is, I wish you all happiness, happiness, happiness, happiness, happiness, happiness!
I just came back from seeing the snow in Weihai and here are some of my real feelings!!
✅Several key points
1️⃣Is it cold
The perceived temperature is okay, -5℃ is completely ok for people from Zhejiang, there is heating indoors and it's very warm. The seaside is extremely cold due to the sea breeze (places without wind are not too cold).
2️⃣What to wear
Waterproof boots + thermal underwear + long scarf + hat that covers the ears (when the sea breeze blows, the ears and head hurt) Down jackets and good quality woolen coats can withstand the cold.
3️⃣How to get there
Weihai has an airport, but there are few flights. If there is no direct flight, you can fly to 'Yantai' or 'Qingdao', and you can choose 'Weihai North Station' for high-speed rail.
🌟If you are afraid that snow will affect transportation, it is recommended to arrive in Weihai 1-2 days in advance.
4️⃣How about the consumption
Off-season sea view accommodation 1,200, Korean meals in restaurants 60,70 per person, taxis are mostly about ten yuan, very affordable for first and second tier cities! And the Korean food in Weihai is so delicious!
5️⃣Where to stay
Near Torch Road by Weihai North Station: Convenient for viewing Torch Eighth Street and International Bathing Beach
Near Weigao Square by Weihai Station: Convenient city center, close to the sea
6️⃣How about the transportation
Weihai's scenic/photo spots are distributed along a coastline, it is recommended to charter a car (find online or chat with a taxi driver, we got familiar with the driver, he took us on a day trip on a snowy day, and he was very skilled)
🌟Transportation will collapse on snowy days, contact the driver in advance, or take public transportation.
📸Must-visit check-in points
❶Bruise Wreck
A giant shipwreck on the sea surface, easily take apocalyptic blockbuster photos, you can take photos in any weather!
❷Torch Eighth Street + Weihai International Bathing Beach
A sloping road going straight down, the houses on both sides match the beautiful coastline. Going down is the International Bathing Beach, when it snows, the beach is all white, so gentle!
❸Rongcheng Swan Lake
Winter-limited scenery every year, Siberian swans overwinter here, the best viewing point is 'Yandunjiao Swan Lake'
❹Pearl Beach

❺Yuan Yao Wharf
Romance in the ruins, a few abandoned ships and a platform with a white bell, have a strong sense of loneliness!
❻Beishan Road Sunjia Tun
The end of the road is the sea, the end of the sea is the island, bring a telephoto lens to shoot beautifully, you can set the location to 'Huan Cui District Chinese Medicine Hospital'
❼Xiaoshi Island
There is a lonely house at the end, it feels like being in Iceland when the weather is good, it's beautiful at sunset.
❽Jinhai Bay Trestle
The chain trestle extending to the sea, has a sense of film and fate, it's also beautiful when the lights are on in the evening, the downside is the strong wind.
❾Weihai Park + Yuehai Park
The large photo frame by the sea in Weihai Park, the lighthouse by the sea in Yuehai Park, are both artistic and photogenic

A city you'll fall in love with after just one visit: Weihai 3-day 2-night guide
You've got to visit Weihai at least once.
Experience the gentle sea breeze, gaze at the deep blue sea,
Enjoy an authentic Korean meal, and experience the pace of life in a small town🌊
Day1⃣️: Torch Eight Streets➡️Cat Head Mountain➡️Han Le Fang
📍Torch Eight Streets: This place is a must-visit in Weihai, and it's especially beautiful for taking photos when the weather is good. It's easy to mistake it for Korea, but it's actually Weihai, China!
📍Cat Head Mountain: My favorite coastal road. Drive or ride a scooter along this road, the scenery is stunning. There are many viewing platforms here, with the most famous being the No. 2 and No. 3 viewing platforms! Weihai has electric car and car rentals, and it's recommended to rent a car to experience the beauty of the coastal road. Electric cars might run out of battery. If you can't drive, you can take the local coastal bus.
📍 Han Le Fang: Experience Korean culture, a great place for taking photos and checking in. This place is close to Weihai Railway Station, so you can stay nearby for the night and enjoy the local cuisine.
Day2⃣️: Haiyuan Park➡️Weihai Park➡️Yuehai Park
📍Haiyuan Park: Walk along the coastal path, and you can even go down to the seaside to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
📍Weihai Park: A great place for a leisurely stroll.
📍Yuehai Park: Unique style, beautiful scenery.
Day3️⃣: Weihai➡️Naxianghai➡️Jiming Island
📍Naxianghai: This road is really beautiful! There are vast beaches and endless sea views, and the coastal route is dotted with wind turbines. You'll also pass by the Visby ship, so make sure to take photos and check in. No fixed destination is needed; you can stop wherever you like along the way and explore. Don't miss the seaside coffee shops, the triangular little houses, I love them so much. And the sunset at Naxianghai is simply too breathtaking.
📍Xixiakou Wildlife Park: This is the largest zoo in Asia, and the animals here are especially lively, not to be missed. Additionally, this place is built by the sea, so you can also see the azure sea.
The Journey to Weihai!
Weihai, this beautiful land, may you always be peaceful and serene, becoming a haven for people's souls.

Weihai, I wish you all the best, may you become one of the most beautiful cities in the world, always radiating endless vitality and brilliance.
👍Most recommended:
Basking in the warm sun of winter and feeling the lazy sea breeze
For the New Year, I chose Weihai. The bullet train from Shanghai to Weihai took 7 and a half hours. I stayed at the Korean Music Square, which is close to Weihai Station. There is a night market downstairs, but many shops are closed for the New Year. The next day, I went to several popular check-in spots. It takes about 45 minutes to drive from the city to Rongcheng. I suggest chartering a car. There are not many swans in Swan Lake. There are flocks of seagulls by the sea near the Bruce wreck, but the surrounding environment is rather chaotic. If you follow the coastal road in the city, you will find the Big Frame, the Gate of Happiness, and the Torch Eight Street. The wind is strong near the Cat Head Mountain by the sea, so it's recommended to wear a hat. 2-3 days are enough to have fun.
You really have to come to Weihai to see the snow!

Super detailed Weihai travel guide, save it
Just returned from a trip to Weihai, I have to say, Weihai in this season is really beautiful with few people!
❤️
Accompanied by the winter-limited Siberian swans and seagulls, the scenery of Weihai is really beautiful. The blue sky and sea after the snow make people feel relaxed and happy, not losing to the beauty of summer. Now let's share with you the places I think are particularly beautiful in Weihai, and those places that are not worth following the trend to check in!🌟
❤️ Red List ❤️
🔺 Beishan Road 🔺
For me, Beishan Road is the most beautiful road to the seaside of Weihai. There are no crowds like Huoju Ba Street, only the romantic scenery that extends to the sea like a scroll. Remember to use a telephoto lens to capture its beauty!📸🌅
🔺 Brewis Bay 🔺
Shipwrecks, the sea, and seagulls from Siberia, Brewis Bay has become a landmark attraction in Weihai. Even if there are many people on the beach when you go, it is really comfortable to look at the shipwrecks and feed the seagulls.🚢🌊🦢
🔺 Yandun Corner 🔺
The Yandun Corner in the evening has become one of my most beautiful memories of this year's travel. Countless swans are reflected in the golden color by the setting sun, and there are corn vendors on the street, three bags for five yuan, a handful of happiness! It gets dark early in winter, remember to go early to see the sunset time!🌅🦢🌽
🔺 Cat Head Mountain 🔺
The beauty of Cat Head Mountain is not just that mountain, but the beautiful scenery along the way. It is not recommended to rush to the crowded No. 3 viewing platform to take pictures. If you drive by yourself, stop and take a look at each viewing platform, there will be more surprises!🏞️🚗
🔺 Big Frame 🔺
The Big Frame is also one of the more popular internet celebrity landmarks in Weihai. I drove by three times and finally couldn't help but go down to take pictures. I didn't expect it to look really good with balloons~ Although the balloons are borrowed, but the happiness is priceless!🎈😄
🖤 Black List 🖤
◾️ Huoju Ba Street ◾️
Even in the off-season, Huoju Ba Street is still crowded, and parking is not allowed nearby, so you have to climb a big slope to get there. If there is no particular obsession, I do not recommend going!🚶♂️❌
◾️ Seaweed House ◾️
Without the filter, the seaweed house is actually a small broken house. Although the craft of the seaweed house is an intangible cultural heritage, if it is just for taking pictures, I think you can skip it.🏚️📸❌
◾️ Hanlefang ◾️
There is really nothing delicious in the night market (the restaurant is okay). After a big circle, they are basically snacks from all over the country, and the taste of a few is really not very good.🍢🌙❌
💙 Two-day and one-night itinerary 💙
🔹 Day 1
Brewis shipwreck - Chezhugou Swan Nature Reserve - Yandun Corner
🔹 Day 2
Cat Head Mountain - Haiyuan Park - Weihai Park Big Frame - Weihai Station
This itinerary allowed me to fully appreciate the beauty of Weihai. I hope my sharing will be helpful to everyone!🚗🏞️🌅✨
