WIDERANGE AFRICAN SAFARIS Hiking up Kilimanjaro & Safari
Adrenaline rush! The views up there is sooo amazing! So worth it! 6 to 7 days of no phone reception. Totally disconnected for a while. It was so refreshing.
After hiking up Kilimanjaro, I did a Safari tour for about 3 days 2 nights. I did the Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. I did manage to see all the Big 5s! Lucky me! They are Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo. It was like National Geography right infront of your very eyes!
It was my first trip to Africa and definitely not the last. Hopefully to return to Africa and explore the rest of it! Definitely one day!

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Machame route considered the most beautiful but also one of the hardest. Good for acclimatisation with the altitude.

bye bye Mount Kilimanjaro!
last night on the mountain. Barafu Camp (4673m) to High Camp (3950m)
after the summit attack, we had the chance to hang out and took a 2 hour break only in the tent. we ate and had a quick nap while also packing our stuff and equipment.
the porters were also busy packing up the tents and ready to put our stuff on their back. shortly after that, we soldiered down (1h 26m) to the last camp (High Camp) for a night. it was so cold and misty all the way. it was our last night and last sleep on the Kilimanjaro. it was quite a relief to be thinking about that because i dont think we would want to face another coldness on the mountain. but i still wish i can explore other parts of the mountain tracks

Bye Kilimanjaro Peak
Uhuru Peak➡️Barafu Camp. guess how long it took us this time to reach the camp (with the help of all supermen)
super freaking 1:24min vs our 8 hours. huhuhu. it was so fast compared to our hike up to the peak
we were basically skiing downhill in the loose scree using our boots (plus the strong grip from d supermen on both sides of our arms). downward path were full of loose scree & as we plunged our feet downwards (rapidly), we kinda lost our balance. in fact, I did fall a couple of times as we were sliding down the scree slope. sorry guyss
but the annoying part was when all the stones went straight into the boots n socks leee.. grrrrr!! went to the tent with torn boots & dirty black toe. but i love the chanting from the crew giving is support endlessly
p/s: Mawenzi Peak (5149m) beautiful right? its the 3rd highest peak in Africa tapi very dangerous to climb

nearing the peak Kilimanjaro
Day 6: Stella Point 5756m ➡️ Uhuru Peak 5895m
the nasty steep slope ends here at Stella. after that only remains are the gentle slope which took around 160metre. But the walk kat the edge of the crater rim to Uhuru peak is usually challenging as the air is less compressed at this altitude causing severe headache, dizziness & exhaustion. hiks
my friend decided to go down afta Stella because of dizziness. so we were left with Enock & Jose to finish the last few 160m ke Uhuru.
But it was totally different (excruciating i must say) experience at 5700m height okeh.
anyway, we were greeted by the massive glaciers otw ke summit. the view was fantastic and majestix

Barafu Base Camp to Kilimanjaro
Day 5: Karanga Camp (3995m) ➡️ Barafu Camp (4673m). sunny day! routine biasa. bangun, sem, tuka baju, tepek bedak (yaaa masih ngak mandi..nak eiyuww pon takpe paham je..hiks), pack barang, makan then baru gosok gigi (lol)
so we are off to Barafu dalam 4.3km & took us dalam 2:56:16 with loadssss of picture, water & pee break (ha ah, kepada siapa yang tanya, kalau on trek tiada toilet mesti la batu, pokok mahupun semak menjadi mangsa.
Alhamdulillah the sun was bright on that day. it was a superrr longggg stretch of trek. luas gile. wondering when we can reach the Base Camp. we braved the hike “pole pole” means perlahan-lahan in Swahili
and we enjoyed the sun at base camp

Day 4: on our way to Karanga Camp, rasa berejam jugak mencapub atas ni feasting our eyes pada gigantic Kibo & the sea of clouds. if lucky, u can catch a glimpse of d handsome Mount Meru (4562m) - second highest in Tanzania dari this stop. Alhamdulillah we finally reached Karanga Camp (3995m) dalam 4j 50m. Ya Allah, nak tunjuk luas & jauh pandangan mata tak nampak garisan penamat tu hari ke 4 ni la woiiiii!!! gambar yang tertera tak mampu nak tunjuk betapa LUAS nye kawasan trek ni. memang hampir mengeluarkan kata-kata kesat la (ke da terkeluar.. hiks). matahari juga keluar bermain & kami sangat bersyukur sebab kalau tak, sejok sangat

Cool Hiking at Kilimanjaro
Day 3: Lava Tower ➡️ Barranco Camp
I must say the most beautiful landscape & my most favourite is this path leading to Barranco Camp (3900m). U can feast ur eyes on all those streams, waterfalls and the nice giant Groundsel Trees a.k.a Dendrosenecio. Subhanallah.. serious my pics & vids dalam ni didnt do justice tapi percayalah serious lawa.
I just wish the 4km route to Barranco could be longer..tak puas sangat!
Day 4: Barranco Camp (3900m) to Karanga Camp (3995m). around 9:06am, we were on our way to scale the majestic Barranco Wall rising 257m above the Barranco Valley. It is said to be the most challenging & demanding portion of d trek due to the steep & narrow path yang perlukan streneous climbing & rock scrambling. there is also the famous Kissing Wall a streneous n narrow spot for hikers.

Hiking up Kilimanjaro
Day 1: Machame Gate (1800m) ➡️Machame Hut (2835m). arrived at Machame Gate afta 2.5 hour journey (several stops) from Arusha. made our ascent thru d lush misty green rainforest to d Machame Camp. it took us around 5h10m (of course with several photo, water & pee breaks) to complete the 11km hike.
Day 2: Machame Hut (2835m) ➡️ Shira Cave Camp (3750m). gerak at 8:13am & it took us dalam 5:06:28 to finish the 6.4km steep hike. we were fascinated by the clear blue sky & d low alpine landscape filled with moorlands/grasslands
Day 3: Shira Camp ➡️ Baranco Camp. started around 813am & today we were expected to hike high up to Lava Tower (4600m) then slept at Barranco (3900m) for acclimatization. the 11km landscape was d amazing semi-desert & was d longest trek for me.

7 Days Machame Route Kilimanjaro Trekking with Africa Natural Tours Ltd
The seven day Machame variation is the ideal schedule for this route. On the 7 days Machame the route, the trek from Barranco to Barafu is broken up into two days, allowing for a short day just prior to the summit attempt. This is important because summit day begins very early, around midnight, so climbers are sleeping deprived going into the toughest day on the mountain. By having a short day beforehand, climbers can be better rested. The 7 day Machame route is highly recommended and used by most prominent Kilimanjaro operators.

8 day mt Kilimanjaro climb via lemosho
#spooktaculartrip The Lemosho route is one of the newer routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. The route begins in the west and rather than simply intersecting Shira Plateau (like Machame), Lemosho crosses it from Shira Ridge to Shira Camp. Climbers encounter low traffic until the route joins the Machame route. Afterwards, Lemosho follows the same route through Lava Tower, Barranco and Barafu, known as the southern circuit.
The minimum number of days required for this route is six days, although eight days is ideal.
Lemosho is considered the most beautiful route on Kilimanjaro and grants panoramic vistas on various sides of the mountain. It is our favorite route because it offers a great balance of low traffic, scenic views and a high summit success rate. Thus, Lemosho comes highly recommended. Most of our clients use Lemosho.

African Love Birds Adventure were you ever thinking to visit Tanzania, look here how mount kilimanjaro can make your trip more exciting!!
New Year’s Day on the roof of Africa! Happy 2020!
Kilimanjaro means the mountain of light in the local Swahili language. She is the roof of Africa. She is the snowy peak of the equator. She is the temple of God. She is the indispensable existence of the "7+2 world's most mountaineering series" and the most easy-to-top peak business and the combination of cold and high, making Kilimanjaro a "personal" mountain.
Hemingway gives her an immortal soul. "In front, as far as I can see, he saw that the vastness of the world as the whole world seemed so towering, grand and white was unbelievable that it was the square foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro."
This is Kilimanjaro in the eyes of Hemingway. This is the highest point in Tanzania. Even in the distance of 200 kilometers, you can see the colorful snow caps that are illuminated by the sun. It is a world-recognized short classic, using a large number of images to express Hemingway's process of thinking and gradually understanding the eternal proposition of survival and death. The soul of the protagonist sleeps on the snow-capped mountains of Kilimanjaro and is immortal.
Although the summit of Kilimanjaro is covered with snow and ice all year round, the melting of glaciers is very serious. Experts predict that by 2020, the snow in Mount Kilimanjaro will only stay in the book. The fact is that the snow at the top of the mountain is indeed not Many glaciers still exist, but they have been reduced in large areas. So please go to a friend who is going.
