Address - 芭樂王, Ningxia Rd, Datong District, Taipei City, Taiwan 103. 103台北市大同區寧夏路 芭樂王
Highlights - Ningxia Night Market is the number one food night market in Taipei City. Almost all the stalls in the entire night market sells food. It was packed with hungry and curious humans when I visited. There is a wide range of food options available. I had the fried sweet potato balls, freshly made mochi, fried cuttlefish which was chewy and flavourful, a warm bowl of pig stomach soup in the cool spring night and braised pork bun.
Amazing Taipei Trip
I did a weekend trip in Taipei as my place of residence (Hong Kong) eased inbound travellers’ quarantine requirements. Not having travelled Taiwan for 3 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic felt surreal as it has always been my favourite destination for a short/weekend-trip.
Unfortunately, the weather was bad throughout the trip – it was constantly raining. However, fortunately at night, the heavy rain stopped, and I could go out to the famous night markets such as Ningxia and Raohe. My favourite night market was Ningxia. Although it remained the same as three years ago, I could still see some changes – more varieties in food, especially Korean snacks. I felt like I was in my heritage home!
After eating loads of food at the night market, I went straight to bed and woke up early the day after. I went out to see the Taipei 101 – the city’s one of the most famous landmarks. Unfortunately, the foggy weather did not allow me to oversee the entire building but at least, it was not crowded.
Then I decided to go back to my hotel and pack up and left for Hong Kong. Although I could not do much outdoor activities due to the adverse weather conditions, I still enjoyed the trip. I cannot wait to go back again.

travel to Taiwan Among the things that must be experienced, the first place is the night market. To make a big snack in Taiwan, the night market is always the right choice. No matter Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, from the north to the south, every city in Taiwan has a prosperous night market. It combines rich local characteristics with authentic local flavors, which can be said to be the epitome of Taiwanese culture.
Taipei Ningxia Road Night Market
Taipei is really fun, but I still miss Taichung. This feeling is very strong when I go to the night market for food at night. Ningxia Road Night Market, people love and hate, love it is simple and rude, along the Ningxia Road lined up two rows of shops, hate it a lot of shops have to queue long, eating something difficult.
Address is on the Ningxia Road in Datong District. It is very eye-catching. The business hours are from 5pm to 1am every day. In fact, the night market is very much in Taiwan. It is difficult to tell where the best is. The total Shilin has let me down, and the place is far away. I don't like it very much. Ningxia night market is not bad. I have eaten for two days, and it is said that it was voted as the best, the best, and the most environmentally friendly. The biggest difference between the night market and other places is that uniform stainless steel cutlery is used here.
Liu Weizi egg yolk cake, 25 Taiwan dollars without egg yolk, 30 egg yolk, the Taipei Michelin guide, another Michelin recommended shop is pig liver Rongzi.
Lin Kee burned the potato, the taste of the roasted potato is unforgettable. Whether it is peanut or sesame, everything is delicious. I think I can eat ten more.
Lin Kee spicy stinky tofu, my favorite, no one. I have been remembering this taste for more than ten years in Taiwans night market. I came to the night market to find it, hot stinky tofu and duck blood, with hand-made bean skin, sweet and refreshing, and endless aftertaste. There is a lot of people in the next door, and it is said that it is the most famous snack in Ningxia Night Market. There is no place and no stomach, so let everyone eat and see.
Taipei Ningxia Night Market, a small night market of less than 100 meters in length, is close to Taipei Station and Zhongshan MRT Station. The MRT Exit 4 of Zhongshan MRT is about 500 meters walk.
Ningxia Night Market has a lot of Taiwanese food, fried chicken, grilled sausage, chicken leg roll, seafood, barbecue, etc., the amount is quite sufficient, basically every store has to line up, because one person only bought Three, you can't eat it. Its a sentiment to Taiwan. Its true that Taiwanese are really enthusiastic. They cant find the way to Ningxias night market. Passers-by take the initiative to ask to take you, thank you.
Taiwan is a veritable full island. The cuisine here combines the flavors of the mainland and has created its own uniqueness, which has made it a rich and diverse food culture. When you travel to Taipei, you must not miss the experience of authentic snacks, and the most concentrated snacks are night markets.
Taipei Night Market, more famous are Shilin Night Market, Shida Night Market, Ningxia Night Market, Huaxi Street Night Market, Raohe Street Night Market and Gongguan Night Market. Among these big night markets, my favorite is the Ningxia Night Market, which is the birthplace of the Taipei Night Market. It is also a gathering place for food and TV programs that are competing for coverage. The scope includes Minsheng West Road, Nanjing West Road and Chongqing. The section in the middle of the North Road is about 300 meters long.
In this gourmet mine-free zone, strategic eating is definitely a technology. First of all, you have to go around from start to finish, just don't buy, because you don't know how good the next thing is. If you eat too much in the front, you don't have any extra stomach to carry it. When you go shopping, you must hold back your mouth, make difficult choices, and then try again and again. Here, the per capita 100 RMB can definitely be enjoyed!
Recommended snacks: flame beef, grilled shrimp, big squid, large intestine package small intestine
Address: Ningxia Road, Nanjing West Road, Datong District
Opening hours: 18
The Taiwan Night Market is a place where everybody gathers to enjoy the Taiwanese food culture. It is a must visit for every tourist or visitor. When I first saw the Ningxia Night Market, it was already too late to take the turn to enter. When I look at the picture that I took of it, I feel as though the group I was with might have been very loud and had disturbed the lady in it. She had looked down at her hand, and then looked up just as I clicked the picture. I don’t even know if she is a Taiwanese or a tourist like me. Our journey was long, however, and if I missed it, then I missed it.
The Year of the Chinese Dragon at Taipei Ningxia Night Market
Check in at Taipei Ningxia Night Market for the Spring Festival holiday.
Visiting Taiwan, the most grounded way to experience local life is to check out the night markets, an essential part of Taiwanese life. Here you can find the most authentic local delicacies, as well as the trendiest fashion.
The Ningxia Night Market in Taipei still uses the familiar place name, named after the northwestern province 'Ningxia' because of its location in the northwest of Taipei.
Located near Dadaocheng, the market is not large but boasts stalls that are over 50 years old, known for their famous delicacies or high cost-performance value, making each stall a classic! It is one of the few 'eco-friendly green night markets' in Taiwan, with public toilets, no smoking, registered ingredients, grease traps, and many stalls that do not use disposable tableware!
The dragon in the first☝️photo is very fitting for the occasion.
I wonder if the lanterns🏮on Dihua Street in the photos are similar to those in mainland Ningxia.
Ningxia Night Market is also one of the few in Taipei where vendors are concentrated in the middle of the road, and you can explore the entire market by walking straight down the road. Walking in the pedestrian area, there are tempting delicacies on both sides.
Ningxia Night Market: A Culinary Adventure
#winhkflight
Ningxia Night Market in Taipei, Taiwan, is a vibrant and bustling street market that offers a sensory feast for visitors. I had the pleasure of exploring this iconic night market during my visit to Taipei, and it was an experience I'll never forget.
As I entered Ningxia Night Market, I was immediately greeted by the enticing aroma of sizzling street food and the lively chatter of vendors and patrons. The market was a maze of colorful stalls, each one offering a tantalizing array of local delicacies and traditional snacks.
I started my culinary adventure by sampling some of the market's most popular dishes. From savory oyster omelets to crispy fried chicken cutlets, every bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more. I also tried the famous Taiwanese beef noodles, a hearty and comforting dish that warmed me up on a chilly evening.
One of the highlights of my visit to Ningxia Night Market was exploring the diverse range of street food options. I indulged in freshly grilled squid skewers, piping hot soup dumplings, and sticky rice cakes filled with sweet red bean paste. Each dish was a delicious revelation, showcasing the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Taiwan.
As I wandered through the market, I couldn't help but admire the vibrant atmosphere and sense of community that permeated the air. Locals and tourists alike gathered to enjoy good food and good company, creating a lively and convivial atmosphere that was infectious.
In between bites, I also took the time to browse the market's array of souvenir stalls and handicraft vendors. From hand-painted ceramics to intricately carved wooden trinkets, there was no shortage of unique and beautiful treasures to discover.
As the night wore on and the crowds began to thin, I reluctantly bid farewell to Ningxia Night Market, knowing that I had only scratched the surface of all it had to offer. But as I made my way back to my hotel, I carried with me memories of an unforgettable evening spent exploring one of Taipei's most beloved culinary destinations.

Best part of Taiwan trip is always going to the night market because that’s where I get to eat most of the local delicacies for a reasonable price. The best food for me is still the scallion pancake, always good to eat in Taiwan. If you travel to Taiwan you should always reserve at least one night to go to the night market!
I want to visit Hong Kong because of the local delicacies and to go on a food tour
Ningxia night market
10/10. If u re n sweet tooth those are must recommended dishes at ningxia night market.

Ningxia Night Market in Taipei left an indelible mark on my culinary journey through Taiwan. The lively atmosphere, with vendors showcasing their culinary expertise, adds a dynamic touch to the market. As a visitor, the friendly interactions with local vendors heightened the authenticity of the experience.

Taipei Ningxia Night Market
We found this night market better than Shilin in terms of the food. Many interesting small eats here. Either wait for tables or stand aside to enjoy the food and beverages. This night market is about 5-8 minutes walk from MRT Shuanglian (red line). Bring cash for payment here. Will come back here again! #ningxianightmarket 😋
Great Market with many street food
#taipei
A relatively small night market compared to its contemporaries in Taipei.Despite being not as large as for example Shilin, it's still fully packed with various types of delicacies, snacks, and drinks of all types. The queue for some of the most popular items such as oyster omelette and taro balls were painfully long that I gave up and switched to other stalls.
There are a lot of plastic chairs to sit down and enjoy the meal. The drawbacks were the roads weren't fully pedestrianized.
Ningxia Night Market, experience Taiwan night market culture
did not go to Taiwan night market, it is not to travel to Taiwan, and when it comes to the island's most famous snacks, the night market is also a must.
Whether Taipei, Taichung, Tainan or even Taitung, from the north to the south, almost every city in Taiwan has a booming night market, which is undoubtedly the epitome of Taiwanese culture.
The Ningxia Night Market, located in Minsheng West Road to Nanjing West Road, Datong District, Taipei, although it is a bit smaller than many other sightseeing night markets in Taipei.
But from the eyes of a favorite snack, it is a small but complete.
Even from the choices, taste, price, environment and reservations of local characteristics in Taipei, I personally feel that I can count as one of the best in Taipei.
In fact, for the first time in a strange place to forage, in order to not step on the thunder, the easiest way is to go directly to the shop where there are many people, it is not wrong.
Ningxia Road Night Market's snacks are full of Taiwanese flavor, fragrant braised pork rice and chicken rice, sweet and delicious oysters, fried scorpion beef octopus balls, etc., people can not help but index finger movements .
The street vendor on the other side of the night market is mainly based on novelty and fun groceries and toys. The goods sold are quite popular and the price is not expensive. When you are full of food, you may also come and walk.
The most distinctive feature of Taiwan is the night market. The Ningxia Night Market, a 10-minute drive from Sheraton Taipei Hotel, is also popular. Here you can find a lot of old brands, recommended shops, I especially love the braised pork rice on the night market, very delicious. On the Google map, Ningxia Night Market is permanently closed. In fact, there is no such thing as the same excitement.
Ningxia Night Market is one of the few night markets in Taipei where street vendors are concentrated in the middle of the road. The diet is based on Taiwanese traditional snacks, including oyster omelet, , Tainan bowl, pig liver soup, Guoyu soup, Lu meat rice, etc. Wait. Here is a full display of the ancient flavor of Dadaocheng. In early Taipei, the ring night market food was second to none. Ningxia Night Market was risen due to the proximity of the ring; the ring was not behind, and many stall merchants went to Ningxia Night Market to sell it. It is famous for its traditional food. It is expected to be delicious, delicious and attractive. Many old ladies and tourists come to eat.
There are so many authentic specialties on the night market that you and I don't know how to start. The night market in Taiwan is usually open late, so you can choose to have dinner in the hotel restaurant, go shopping and have fun. Go to the night market to eat late at night. Everyone remembers to bring cash, most stores still need to hold cash, and some merchants in the night market can support Alipay or WeChat payment.
Ningxia night market must eat: cattle mother sand tea cattle, Rongzi pig liver, moon shrimp cake, braised pork rice, ring sesame oil chicken and egg wrapped shrimp soup is also a specialty snack here, have to taste .
Arrival: Exit 1 of Zhongshan Station of MRT Danshui Line, or walk to Exit 1 of Shuanglian Station.
I have never been to Taiwan's night market, but I have never been to Taiwan for travel. When it comes to the island's most famous snacks, the night market is also a must.
Small but complete.
Even from the choices, taste, price, environment and reservations of local characteristics in Taipei, I personally feel that I can count as one of the best in Taipei. It is a very retro night market. There is food.
