Wenzhou Qinghe Book Garden, the study room closest to nature
Qinghe Book Garden is located on the lake heart island of Qinghe Park in Yueqing City, Wenzhou, and was put into use in June 2021. It is not only a new cultural landmark of Yueqing but also known as "the study room closest to nature" by netizens.
Since its opening, it has been successively rated as the most beautiful cultural space in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and the Yangtze River Delta. In 2023, Qinghe Book Garden was selected as one of the top ten "New Public Cultural Spaces" in the country, the only one in Zhejiang Province.
Qinghe Book Garden consists of six connected Chinese-style buildings with a beautiful environment and elegant facilities. The book garden houses 60,000 volumes and is composed of six venues with different themes. The first venue is for local and historical themes, the second for literature and comprehensive topics, the third for art and humanities, the fourth for creativity and life, the fifth for parent-child and growth, and the sixth for light food and coffee.
The book garden is open to the public for free and does not require a reservation. The only requirement for readers is to "know books and be courteous". For example, to practice "courtesy in learning" while reading, to learn "courtesy on the internet" when browsing online, to promote "courtesy in parent-child reading", and to observe "courtesy at meals".
Amidst the hustle and bustle, seek a silent wisdom. Here, not only can you enjoy the chirping of birds and the fragrance of flowers, but also the vast ocean of books. Stepping into Qinghe Book Garden, you can not only learn knowledge but also cultivate your mind and body.

Wenzhou Qinghe Park, where rainbows lie upon the waves and meandering waters are surrounded by the chirping of birds and the fragrance of flowers
Located at the southeast corner of the central urban area of Yueqing City, Wenzhou, there is a wetland park formed by digging lakes and creating islands - Qinghe Park. The park covers an area of about 6,500 mu, of which the water area is approximately 1,050 mu, making it the largest urban wetland park in the Wenzhou area and has been awarded the provincial-level quality comprehensive park honor.
Qinghe Lake is the soul of the park. There are 9 wetland islands scattered across the lake, connected by 8 bridges of various shapes, presenting a beautiful picture of rainbows lying upon the waves and meandering waters.
The park changes colors with the seasons, each vying for beauty. In spring, willows sway gently, and flowers bloom like a sea; in summer, the greenery is lush, and lotus leaves stand tall; in autumn, the colorful woods are like dye, and reed flowers drift like snow; in winter, the water is still and the reflections are clear, as picturesque as a poem.
The most outstanding feature of the park is the tulips, which can compete with Hangzhou's Prince Bay. In mid-February, tulips and daffodils have already reached their peak blooming period, and peach blossoms and early cherry blossoms also reveal their beautiful smiles in the spring breeze. The bald cypress trees, having endured the baptism of the north wind, remain as fiery as flames.
Qinghe Park is also a great place to take children out, with a large water amusement park and a land amusement park by the lake, which can keep the kids entertained for a good half day.
For those who enjoy reading, you can also sit by the lake in the Qinghe Book Garden on a small island in the park, seeking a silent wisdom in the bustling world.

Free to enjoy, the tulips at Qinghe Park in spring are breathtakingly beautiful
Tulips, with their elegant shapes and rich colors, are known as the 'palette of spring'. In mid-February, Qinghe Park, known as the 'Prince Bay' of Yueqing, is filled with tulips blooming under the spring breeze. The colorful sea of flowers is intoxicatingly beautiful.
Qinghe Park is the largest urban wetland park in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, covering an area of 6,500 acres, with 8 interconnected islands in the lake. Every spring, the tulip sea is a visual feast not to be missed. More than half a million tulips of over 30 varieties are spread along the greenway and in the central area of the park. The most eye-catching spot for visitors is undoubtedly the Heart of the Lake Island.
Tulips of various colors and species release their fragrance and bloom in purples and reds, each with its own charm and beauty. Set against windmills, sculptures, lawns, and lakes, they make the entire spring weep with beauty.
The flowers intoxicate the visitors, who are even more intoxicated. Some people look back with every step, afraid to miss any flower; others stroll leisurely, quietly enjoying the romance of early spring. Zhejiang Satellite TV's news broadcast once showcased the early spring scenery of Qinghe Park from multiple perspectives in a one-minute video.
