They were consistently responsive to all our enquiries, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The location was exactly as described—peacefully situated near the forest, offering a relaxing and natural setting. One area for improvement would be the availability of more vegetarian-friendly food options. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely book here again when revisiting the area.

I recently stayed at a Maosao Inn that exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff were truly lovely and incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay even more enjoyable. My bedroom was a very good size, offering plenty of space to relax and unpack comfortably. I also appreciated the convenient shared washer and dryer facilities, which were a real bonus for a longer stay, esp for all the hiking ! The location of the hotel was nothing short of amazing. It was surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, foot massages, making dining out effortless, and it was also close to major travel points, which made exploring the area very convenient. Overall, this hotel offered a perfect blend of comfort, practicality, and accessibility, and I would happily choose it again for future visits.

Our stay at this lodge was absolutely unforgettable. The views were simply breathtaking, waking up and looking out over such beautiful scenery was an experience in itself. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made the whole stay feel so relaxing and comfortable. Also really close to the park and they even offered a free shuttle to the park. The food was also outstanding, with every meal being fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Most of all, this lodge was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The peaceful atmosphere combined with the amazing surroundings made it a truly special getaway. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape with incredible views and exceptional hospitality.

The hotel is literally next to the East gate. The place is beautiful, the room was clean, comfortable, the breakfast rich and tasty. The staff's English is a chalenge, but they are sweet, very polite and readily using translator, so we always found the answers to our questions.

I’ve been travelling for decades and stayed at a huge variety of places. By far this is the best one I’ve ever been to. The whole staff and expecially our butler Yuan yuan和xiaotang were super helpful and friendly. I was so much impressed by their help and readiness to adjust , find ways to solve our problems or fulfill requests. We’re travelling with a child , so we had a lot of requests! We’ve been to a range of 5-star hotels around the globe, but have never seen such help and hospitality. I’d highly recommend using the hotel taxi for the airport pickups and getting around since it is much better than the local didi choices. You just don’t have air conditioned didi options in the village no matter how much you’re ready to pay. Just old cars with open windows. The hotel cars are new, spacious and comfortable. And the drivers are all very good. We’ve also enjoyed breakfast very much. Lots of options. And especially good for a child (not spicy and a huge variety of buns). The location is close to the national park entrance and you walk around 10min to the entrance through a very nice and picturesque park by the river side! The hotel features its own natural cave with colourful lights. So beautiful! And it’s a great escape in rainy days or demanding days when kids and elder people aren’t exactly eager to go anywhere else but still wish to see something. We’ve even discovered a tiny colony of bats inside! The hotel has several nice terraces overlooking the park, riverside and the village center. We’ve found it ideal for having snacks or tea outdoors and enjoying the village lights in the evening. The whole hotel territory and the pool are so beautiful, well designed and perfect for taking pictures.

This hotel is right at the entrance to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, just a short walk to the scenic area, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. We booked a family room, and both beds were huge! The room was very spacious, giving us plenty of room to move around freely and making our stay super comfortable. The entire room features large French windows, and opening them reveals a beautiful pastoral view – the scenery is truly stunning. The overall environment was clean and pleasant. Our family was very satisfied, and I genuinely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. You can't go wrong with this one!

Full score recommendation, the overall experience is very satisfactory! The hotel is located next to the Nanyue Temple Scenic Area, just a few minutes walk away, and it is very convenient to travel. The room was clean and tidy, the lighting was transparent, the bedding was comfortable and the facilities were complete. There is a Hunan restaurant nearby, the hotel owner is very talkative, and I will stay again next time.

The hotel was very clean, and the room's facilities were all voice-activated smart devices, which I loved because my own home is smart too. It was super comfortable, and the environment was great with good air quality! Plus, they offer free shuttle service to and from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park! They provide free shuttle service to the East Gate (Flag Gate) of the Forest Park. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip!

This is the best hotel! It seems to be family-run, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The location is about a 5-minute drive from the South Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The area around the accommodation is a quiet village with a tranquil atmosphere. The clean, white hotel building stands out beautifully among the older surrounding structures! I was worried that there were no convenience stores or restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel lobby sold simple drinks and alcoholic beverages, and we could also order dinner. It was incredibly delicious and offered great value for money. There's a spacious communal terrace on the building, and the view from there was superb! So, one day we decided not to go sightseeing but to relax at the accommodation and truly enjoy a 'hotel-cation'.
