Had a fantastic vacation at the Sheraton! I was truly touched by the thoughtful service from our butler, Lucky. Knowing that both my son and I have March birthdays, she went the extra mile to decorate our room for the occasion and even arranged for the Western restaurant staff to custom-make a birthday cake for us. It added such a festive and warm touch to our entire holiday. A big thank you again to Lucky and the entire Sheraton hotel team!

The owner and front desk lady are very welcoming. They will contact you via WeChat prior few days of your check in to give you guidance on where to take the free boat ride. Free boat rides were provided during check in and check out. Very great experience to have such boat rides experience in this beautiful ancient town. Location is superb. Strongly recommend and definitely will come back again.

I always make it a point to visit Hangzhou every year, and seeing the lush greenery by West Lake is always such a beautiful sight! Even with the bustling crowds around West Lake, you can still find a sense of peace and tranquility here. The Xizi Hotel is definitely worth considering for your stay. **Room Facilities:** The dark, reddish-brown furniture gives the room a grand and elegant feel. Welcome fruits and local snacks are neatly arranged in compartments. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub, though overall, it feels a bit dated. **Value for Money:** The room rate is quite steep, but considering the hotel's stunning views, excellent service, and prime location, I still think it offers good value. **Breakfast:** The selection is incredibly rich and varied, and having breakfast right by West Lake is a lovely experience. There's a mix of Western and Chinese options, plus local Hangzhou specialties. You can definitely eat your fill, but it's best to go early, as after 9 am, you'll need to get a number and wait for a table. **Bed:** Just average. **Cleanliness:** We were initially given a room on the first floor which felt quite damp, and it seemed no one had stayed in it for a while. After discussing it with them, they moved us to a second-floor room, which had much better sunlight. **Parking:** They have a dedicated parking lot. **Room View:** Our room was quite far back, so the view was mostly of the mountain behind the hotel. **Location & Transportation:** The location is incredibly convenient. Leifeng Pagoda is right next door, and you can see its full panorama from the hotel. Across the street are Jingci Temple and Prince Bay Park. Bus 1314 stops right outside and goes directly to Lingyin Temple and other attractions. If you exit through the west gate, you're very close to 'Viewing Fish at Flower Pond'. We chose to take a boat from Majiawan Pier and explored Yuangu Bay, Turtle Pond, and Three Ponds Mirroring the Moon, experiencing a different side of West Lake. However, since the hotel is quite large, it's a bit of a walk to the main entrance. **Service:** The staff proactively shared information about the hotel with us – truly a testament to its renowned reputation. We interacted most with the shuttle bus drivers. When we mentioned it was our first time staying there, both the drivers and security guards enthusiastically told us about the hotel's features. A special shout-out to shuttle driver Xiao Mu, who waited patiently in the pouring rain for us to finish taking a night photo we wanted. There's also a building manager service for Building 2, responsible for managing the entire building, including check-in arrangements and turn-down service. The staff here are very thoughtful and attentive, and they even offered us some complimentary incense. **Swimming Pool:** There's a separate, heated indoor pool. **Gym:** The gym is located in a separate area. **Complimentary Activities:** 1. At 4 PM, a hotel guide takes guests on a tour of the entire hotel, providing explanations of sites like Pearl Spring and the G20 banquet hall (which isn't accessible outside of booked events, but it's very grand). We learned about the origins of the estate, saw the self-picking Longjing tea garden, and a quiet spot for playing music. The highlight was Building 1, offering a perfect view of Leifeng Pagoda and the building's harmonious composition. The tour lasts about 40 minutes. 2. A travel photography session. Each room receives five photos, which isn't really enough. If you want photo editing, it's an additional 5 RMB. Choosing more upscale costumes costs another 100 RMB. If you truly want some good photos, you might need to spend an extra 200 RMB or so. The photographer does guide you, but the pace felt very fast, and the overall shoot didn't feel very thorough, with the photos not being particularly outstanding. This is just my personal experience, though.

I booked two rooms, both on different platforms, and they upgraded both to courtyard superior rooms, with one even upgraded to a suite. The service here is top-notch for its category; every staff member greets you with a smile. The facilities are well-maintained, including smart toilets, capsule coffee machines, and very clean bedding. The fridge wasn't very cold, and the suite balcony didn't have a table and chairs. Even though it was crowded on the weekend, there was someone to seat us for breakfast, and tables were cleared quickly. The breakfast was decent; they had a special lamb noodle dish that I didn't try, but everything else was standard fare, no complaints. Compared to other hotels of a similar caliber I've stayed at recently in Hangzhou, Nanhu Hotel offers excellent value for money and a great overall experience. Stepping out the back door, you're greeted with a beautiful lake view, which in March, felt a bit like West Lake. My parents were particularly pleased. We'll definitely be back to stay again.

Our stay was fantastic! Special thanks to Ms. Zhan at the front desk for her thoughtful service and help during check-in. She upgraded our room when possible and gave us recommendations for evening activities. What really stood out was when she offered us two warm, yes, warm walnut cookies – they were so comforting and delicious, like coming home, especially since we were a bit hungry! We extended our stay for another night, and Ms. Jia at the front desk was equally warm and attentive. The entire hotel, from its facilities to its soft services, feels grand and well-designed. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of choices. I also appreciate their strong commitment to environmental protection, with trash cans that have ditched plastic bags – excellent!

Staying at Greentown Blue Bay Building 2 this time, which is in the same building as the Sheraton. I was stunned as soon as I swiped my room card and walked in! The lake outside the balcony was an unbelievable shade of blue, like a glowing sapphire. The sunlight sparkled on the water's surface. Sitting on the balcony, lost in thought, watching the layered distant mountains, time seemed to slow down. You absolutely must come on a sunny day; the photos are stunning straight out of the camera, no editing needed!

Marriott never ceases to impress—it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The cleanliness was unmatched; every corner of the room and facility was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and professional, making every interaction feel warm and seamless. But what made this stay extra special was that I proposed during this visit—and everything about the experience contributed to making it perfect. The smooth service, calm ambiance, and attention to detail made it a truly unforgettable moment for us. Highly recommend the Marriott for anyone looking for both luxury and heartwarming hospitality. Thank you for making this milestone so beautiful

Ella at the front desk provided incredibly warm, attentive, and highly efficient service! The room was spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and the bedding was very comfortable. This garden-style hotel, much like West Lake itself, boasts a rich history. The staff are well-trained, polite, and enthusiastic in their service. I won't dwell on the positives, but rather focus on areas for improvement, hoping for an even better experience. 1. **Layout:** The single-story layout means rooms are quite a distance from the front desk. After a long day out, already tired, it feels like an endless walk back. 2. **Guest Segregation:** As a resort hotel, I suggest a better separation between business and leisure guests. I was enjoying tea by West Lake, and all I could hear were loud discussions about IPOs and investments, full of self-promotion – utterly boring! It completely ruined a perfectly good afternoon tea. It was such a mood killer! 3. **Noise & Smoke from Business Guests:** Meeting guests were playing cards (Guan Dan) in their rooms with their doors wide open, smoking, filling the entire hallway with smoke. There's a small balcony outside the rooms; couldn't they play cards there? The hotel should consider the experience of leisure guests, otherwise, it doesn't live up to its national reputation and 3000+ RMB room rate. 4. **Breakfast Disappointment:** Breakfast ends at 10 AM. We arrived at 9:30 AM, and there were still many people in the restaurant. I wanted orange juice but was told it was out. Then I asked for milk, and that was gone too. I looked around the dining area; there were at least forty or fifty adults and children still eating. I was speechless, not knowing what to say. 5. **Bathroom Amenities:** The shower gel in the room seemed to be L'Occitane, but the font was so small that it was impossible to read once wet. The shampoo and shower gel looked identical, making it hard to distinguish, so I accidentally used shower gel as shampoo several times. Overall, the hotel's quality is evident. The Chinese restaurant, tea house, room service, breakfast, front desk, and concierge are all good. Especially the manager of the Chinese restaurant – he's kind and friendly, even coming to the breakfast restaurant the next day to greet us, which was very professional. In short, West Lake State Guest House is good, and I hope it continues to improve! Oh, and that West Lake Fish in Vinegar Sauce – to make carp taste that good, that truly shows skill.

SShouzhongdedaoI come to Hangzhou every year. This time I chose to stay on Longjing Tea Mountain. After comparing several hotels on Ctrip, I feel that Hangzhou Radisson Longjing Manor is more suitable. The hotel is on the tea mountain of Longjing Village. There are tea gardens everywhere. Farmers can pick tea and make tea everywhere on the roadside. The environment is very good. The service of the hotel is very thoughtful. Xiao Chen at the front desk is proficient in business and can meet the requirements of customers as much as possible. We want a room with a better location, so he took us upstairs to choose a room and upgraded the room type for us for free; we stayed in the room and didn’t want to go out, and they gave us a lot of extra bottled water for us to make tea. The rooms in the hotel are very spacious, and each room can see the beautiful scenery outside the window. The linens are clean and comfortable, and all kinds of facilities are complete. The Longjing tea delivered in the room is very fresh and fragrant. Especially for breakfast, although there are not many dishes, the tastes of the several favorite ones are good. The chef’s fried eggs are in place, and the noodles are better than those in restaurants outside. I couldn’t help but eat three servings. I checked out late, and when I checked out, I met the front desk lady Chen again. She brought us water and sent us to the car. I accidentally broke a glass, but she waived our compensation, which made me feel warm! Compared with other hotels in the same area, it may not be the best in the grade, and some hardware is also aging, but considering the environment, service, price and other aspects, if I come to Hangzhou Chashan to live again, I will choose Radisson Longjing Manor.

JJinsededadiThe room was absolutely five-star, and I even got a free upgrade to an Executive King Room, which was fantastic! The cleanliness was satisfactory. The location is superb – just a short stroll to West Lake, and right outside the door is Wulin Night Market, making dining, staying, and sightseeing incredibly convenient. Because it's close to a bustling area, it can be a bit noisy, but that's part of its charm. The service was quite good, though the lobby could get a bit noisy with people coming and going. There were a couple of minor oversights when things got busy, though; I was told there would be a welcome fruit platter when I booked through Ctrip, but it never arrived, even by check-out. It's not a big deal, and I understand. My child really liked it here, though, so I guess we loved the place for their sake! (The photos I took aren't of the room interior, but of the hotel exterior, the night market entrance, the unique lobby layout, and the night view from the window…)

MM519593****For my trip to Ningbo, I chose the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites, and the service exceeded my expectations. Even before arrival, I had a dedicated one-on-one butler, Miya, who asked about my room preferences and arranged the room in advance according to my requests. This saved me time, as I was able to check in immediately upon arrival. Miya also offered excellent recommendations for popular tourist spots in Ningbo once she learned I was here for leisure – that was fantastic! Upon reaching the front desk, the staff were very efficient; check-in was completed in about five minutes, which was great and didn't waste any time. The room offered great views, and if needed, kitchenware could be provided for cooking. It was all very well arranged, and I loved it. What truly deserves special praise are the swimming pool and gym. The facilities are very well-maintained, and they use excellent brands for the fitness equipment. The hotel's breakfast buffet was extensive, including both Chinese and Western options, as well as local Ningbo specialties. The taste was superb, and the restaurant environment was wonderful. I especially enjoyed sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window for the expansive view. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Ningbo!

GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated. Cons: 1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink. 2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience. Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

The service team was professional and incredibly warm, proactively helping with luggage and even adjusting our room type – their attention to detail truly shined. Our room was bright and airy, the bedding was comfortable, and all the facilities were top-notch. Breakfast offered a rich variety, including delicious local flavors. MM702023****A big thank you to the butler and hotel staff! From the delightful room upgrade upon check-in to the thoughtful and attentive butler service throughout our stay, every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The butler was both professional and friendly, always there when we needed something, yet also providing us with ample personal space—the service balance was just perfect. The hotel's location is also ideal for families; our child's highlight every day was visiting the squirrel park downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and the commute was convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to our next visit!

MM432833****We were so disappointed! 👎 Having stayed at over twenty 5-star hotels in the past two years, this was by far the worst. 1. 💡 The facilities are incredibly old and often broken. For example, the vanity mirror was shattered, and the desk lamp flickered on and off. 2. 🛀 You have to wait at least a minute for hot water when showering, which is a very long time, wastes water, and is especially bad given how cold it is in winter. 3. 🛜 The Wi-Fi is terrible; videos constantly buffer. 4. 🏠 The bathroom floor has obvious, old stains that are absolutely disgusting 🤢. 5. 🍳 Breakfast was bad. The fried dough sticks (youtiao) were pre-made, the baozi had thick skins and little filling, the 'thumb-sized' pan-fried buns were greasy with hardly any meat, and the 'freshly squeezed' soy milk was clearly made from powder. The beef noodles and egg pancakes were okay, though. 6. For the DIY craft experience, there was only enough for one person per room, which was incredibly awkward for a couple. What's even more puzzling is that the cheapest room costs 2500 RMB?? 👍 On the positive side, the staff were enthusiastic, there was a golf cart shuttle service, and they helped with luggage. The public areas were beautiful, and the intangible cultural heritage aspects were interesting.

GGuest UserI was really happy with the room; it was large and beautifully decorated. It really lives up to the Banyan Tree name. I stayed at the Banyan Tree Shanghai a few years ago, and for a similar price, all you really got was a Bund view. The size of the room, the sophisticated feel, and the resort-like atmosphere there can't compare to Xixi. Here, there are two huge lakeside terraces, and the ducks and fish are smart – they'll come right up to you for food. The room itself was incredible, my parents couldn't even find me! The bathroom was also massive, though I wasn't a fan of the scent of the toiletries; it was a bit cloying. The hotel's exterior is stunning both day and night, definitely worth exploring. You can walk all the way to the Ambassador Suite area to get a closer look at the water. It's actually part of the Xixi Wetland, so you can catch a glimpse of the wetland's wild side. The hotel golf cart can take you to the free section of Xixi Wetland outside the main gate, and after you've explored, you can contact the hotel to pick you up again. Every single staff member at the hotel was warm and attentive.

SShanmaI found this hotel with great reviews on Trip.com and drove straight here. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully assigned us a butler, Xiao Meng. She entered our car number into the system, making it easy for us to enter and exit, which was very convenient. She also gave us a detailed overview of all the room's amenities, which was a nice touch. The hotel facilities are excellent, both the hardware and software are top-notch, and the staff is very accommodating and helpful. The swimming pool, in particular, has clean, clear water, perfect for a workout. It's truly a standard five-star hotel 🏨. I was in such a rush when I left that I forgot my facial cleanser and swim goggle case. Xiao Meng, our butler, was incredibly kind and sent them by Shunfeng Express to my next hotel 🏨. I'm so grateful! 😊😊 Excellent staff, excellent hotel – very satisfied! 👍👍 They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out! 🎁
