An absolute gem in Kunming! Exceptional service and unbeatable value. We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The hotel is stunningly beautiful and the value you get for the price is unbeatable. One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast. Not only was it delicious but I loved that we could choose our own dining time. They even change up the menu on different days which was a lovely surprise! The entire property is beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere. A huge shoutout to Bao Helei, a male staff member who speaks excellent English. Communication was incredibly smooth and he was always there to help us with a big smile. The hotel also offers a fantastic laundry service. It was super fast ,done within 3 to 4 hours and everything came back beautifully and neatly folded. Location-wise, it couldn't be better. It’s right in the heart of all the attractions. At night, it’s incredibly convenient to just walk out to find minimarts and tons of great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kunming. It made our trip unforgettable!

Just pulled up to the hotel and — plot twist — our room wasn’t ready. Shocking, I know. They’d just survived the Water Festival the day before, so the place was probably still half-drowned and hungover. The receptionist dude was an absolute saint. His female colleague, however… let’s just say she was clearly auditioning for the role of “Cranky Receptionist from Hell.” I’m 99% sure she was on her period and the other 1% was pure personality. Thankfully they upgraded us, which was nice. I never saw the original room, so for all I know they moved us from a broom closet to a slightly larger broom closet with a view. Speaking of which — the view? Legit fire. The room itself? Clean enough. Dry sink area: spotless. Toilet: sparkling. Then came the shower — oh boy. It started off promising, like a decent enough setup… until my girlfriend jumped in. Five minutes later the hot water ghosted her mid-shampoo like a bad Tinder date. One second she’s happily singing, next second she’s screaming like she just got waterboarded by ice cubes. I’ve stayed in fancier bathrooms in Mexican motels that still had bullet holes in the walls and more reliable plumbing. Breakfast was… breakfast. The kind of “basic” that makes you nostalgic for airplane food. But hey, they gave us more bottled water than a doomsday prepper’s basement, so points for hydration. We were only there for two nights — in and out like a cheap Tinder date. Would I go back? Big fat question mark with a side of “probably not even if they paid me.” ⁉️

Highly recommend this guesthouse in Lijiang Old Town! Our room had a direct view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Afternoon tea was included. The best part was the butler service; they helped carry all our luggage, brewed two pots of delicious tea for us upon arrival, and gave us a detailed introduction to how to explore Lijiang Old Town. They stayed in touch with us constantly, recommended fantastic restaurants (never a bad meal! 👍), and even showed us the wholesale market where locals buy fruit (the prices really were cheaper after comparing!). The hotel's location is excellent, near Lion Mountain, and it's just a very short uphill walk from the parking area. No need to drag your luggage all over the Old Town. This is definitely a top-value accommodation choice in Lijiang Old Town! Very satisfied 😀

Great stay at Babymoon Hotel! The location is excellent—right opposite Kunming Old Street, with lots of shopping and food nearby. Staffs were polite and helpful. Our family room was spacious with two large, comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and ordered the night before. Appreciated the free bottled water too. Only downside was the lack of privacy as our window faced another building, so we had to keep the curtains closed. Overall, still a comfortable and convenient stay.

My stay at Lisiman was the perfect conclusion to my Yunnan adventure across Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-la. While each accommodation on my journey served a different purpose, I chose Lisiman specifically because I desired tranquility and a close connection to nature. Location and Atmosphere: Location-wise, LISIMAN ranked incredibly high for me. It sits right within the Napa Hai (Yila Grassland) while remaining close to town, and I highly appreciated their complimentary shuttle service. The view from dawn to dusk offered shifting, beautiful vibes. In the distance, I could watch cows and horses grazing on surrounding farms, while within the hotel compound itself, I loved watching the free-roaming animals, including black swans, ducks, Alaskan dogs, deer, sheep, and a donkey. Exceptional Service and Staff Recognition: I am deeply grateful for the warm reception and care I received. The staff showed incredible initiative and responded expediently to all my queries to ensure I felt comfortable experiencing Shangri-la ”the Lisiman way.” I was highly impressed by the collective teamwork, sincerity, and professionalism of the store manager and specific team members: 麦克, Alan, 小罗, and 小钢. My Experiences: Thanks to thiis team keeping me updated on the daily lineup of programmes, I enjoyed an unhurried yet incredibly fulfilling vacation. During my stay, I was able to: - Interact closely with the in-house animals. - Enjoy a delectable afternoon tea on my sun deck while soaking in the fresh prairie air. - Decorate a candle with flowers. - Stroll along the grassland for photography. - Snap sunrise hues and animals from my room. - Indulge in a photoshoot. - Count the stars at night. Whether you are traveling solo, as a couple, or with a family, LISIMAN has something for everyone.

We loved it here! The location is excellent, it's clean, and the facilities are complete. Although the reception staff didn't speak English, it wasn't a problem because we could easily communicate via WeChat, and they took great care of me. The bathroom has separate shower and toilet areas, and importantly, a bidet (though the pressure wasn't very strong, it was better than many hotels that don't have one). They also provide bottled water, and you can ask for more. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, if I have the opportunity to return to Kunming, I would definitely choose to stay here again and would happily recommend it to others. There might be a slight cigarette smell for those with a sensitive nose, but it's not noticeable for those who aren't bothered by it. The lighting in the room is beautiful, making for great photos.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The room is beautiful, the bed is super comfortable, and the WiFi is fast. What touched me most was the service: the front desk helped me coordinate a room change, and they even delivered freshly cut fruit and desserts to my room.. watermelon and water were all prepared. When I needed to extend my stay last minute, they proactively helped me. They were incredibly patient throughout. I honestly couldn't ask for a better experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming.

I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The laundry service is an absolute game-changer, especially for families traveling with children – it's incredibly convenient! 3. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the cleanliness is top-notch. 4. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Pu'er city, with easy access to all the major attractions. Whether you're traveling for business or a family vacation, this hotel is simply the perfect choice.

Absolutely wonderful stay – they truly care about their guests I stayed at PARK WINS for my first two nights in Kunming and was blown away by the service. Early check‑in & breakfast on day 1: Our red‑eye flight from Jakarta arrived very early in the morning. We were exhausted, but the front desk not only let us check in hours before the official time, they also allowed us to have breakfast right away. That simple kindness made a huge difference. The bed: Very comfortable hotel beds. Perfect after a long flight. Taobao delivery help: We had a package delivered to the hotel before we arrived, but there was an issue with the delivery. The staff went above and beyond to help us solve the Taobao problem, tracked everything down and helped us call the delivery guy. We were so grateful for their patience and professionalism. Location: not far from train station. Around 20-minute didi drive to Kunming old street Super fast responses: Every request we made – extra water, directions, travel tips – was answered within minutes.
