The hotel's guest services called a day in advance to ask about our estimated arrival time, if there were any elderly guests, and any special needs. It's clear the hotel really values guests' requirements. 👍🏼 The hotel environment is excellent, with good greenery, and staff are always maintaining it. Plus, every corner of the hotel is super photogenic! 😆 The front desk staff quickly processed our check-in and even upgraded our room for free! 👍🏼 They also explained all the important details clearly. 😎 The room was clean and tidy, with a great wet/dry separation and an amazing ambiance. I have to say, both the hotel's interior and the rooms are incredibly picturesque! 😛 The hotel breakfast offered both Western options and Yunnan's special rice noodles, and it was consistently good every morning. 😊 All the hotel staff were very friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. 👍🏼 From the environment, cleanliness, facilities, to the service, my family and I were extremely satisfied. Choosing the MGallery was definitely a wise decision! 🌹🌹🌹

The hotel does not match the photos. The interior looks quite worn and outdated, and it is unclear when it was last renovated. Overall, the place feels rather old. The only real advantage was the view from the window. However, the balcony is not comfortable for relaxing. The elevators are also old and somewhat strange. It gets very hot inside. The air conditioning only works when you are in the room, so every time you return it is very stuffy and uncomfortable. There is no privacy at all: the toilet and shower are not properly separated and are completely transparent. One small positive point is that it was possible to leave luggage for a few hours after check-out. The location has its drawbacks. The street is very busy, and calling a taxi can take time, plus it is not very convenient for pick-up. The only convenience is that in the evening you can easily walk to the night market, which starts right next to the hotel in the same area. If you came specifically for the market, it may be suitable. Otherwise, most other places are quite far away.

I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Shannyn's service was excellent, and the whole place really gives off a relaxing vacation vibe. It's especially great for families with kids because of all the animals they have – black swans, miniature horses, sheepdogs, alpacas, and goats. In the mornings, you can even feed the fish, which my child loved. The breakfast was delicious, and there's a complimentary tea-tasting area. The rooms are a lovely blend of modern and traditional Chinese styles. I particularly liked that the toilet and shower areas are completely separate and in different spots, and the toilet even has its own sink. When I first checked in late at night, I asked for a crib, and the front desk said I'd need to come back in the morning since it was so late. I actually didn't bother going back the next day because I thought we'd manage without it, but to my surprise, we found a crib already in our room – that was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel's paid restaurant is also really good; the food is healthy with just the right amount of salt. They also have hot spring baths and a sauna, and the shower stalls are private. Plus, the hotel offers traditional costume and wedding dress photography, which is amazing! I seriously recommend this place. While I wasn't a fan of other attractions in Lijiang, I truly loved this hotel. And the pool isn't cold either!

Stayed here for a night and it was such a memorable experience. The natural surroundings are absolutely stunning, nature at its best!! The room was very nice, and the view was simply amazing. I especially loved seeing the animals around; they all looked so happy and well cared for, which added to the overall charm of the place. One of the highlights was the complimentary photography session and it was truly special and something I’ll remember for a long time. The photographer was very professional and made the experience enjoyable. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even late at night when we hadn’t sorted out our plans. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. The food at the restaurant was also good and complemented the overall experience nicely. I would definitely love to come back again in the future and highly recommend this place to others.

After a week-long trip to Xishuangbanna, I came to Kunming hoping to extend my holiday, looking for a relaxing and comfortable hotel. That's why I chose Paperman. What first caught my eye was its ranking as the number one designer hotel in Kunming. It's about a 15-minute taxi ride from Kunming Station, so the transportation is very convenient. On the morning of my check-in, the hotel called me, but I missed the call. However, upon arrival, the staff immediately introduced the hotel's facilities and services and proactively upgraded my room type and offered a welcome flower gift, which was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel facilities are excellent, comparable to a five-star hotel. The room's amenities and decor are fantastic, and it's exceptionally clean. There's a complimentary mini-bar, a Dyson hairdryer, and a big-brand speaker. The hotel's breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks offer a rich, healthy, and exquisite selection of dishes. The hotel's most famous feature is the rooftop infinity pool, which offers panoramic views of Kunming, with the Kunming Twin Towers directly opposite. The concierge thoughtfully mentioned that I could book a professional travel photoshoot in advance, making it incredibly good value for money. Overall, the hotel is absolutely fantastic! I'm completely won over! I will definitely choose Paperman again on my next visit to Kunming! The hotel service is truly exceptional and attentive! Every time I left my room, hotel staff would press the elevator for me, and upon checkout, they even gave me a souvenir tea gift and helped carry my luggage to the car waiting downstairs.

This was my first stay at Jiangye Holiday Hotel, and I had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped us order takeout. The hotel facilities are excellent, including a laundry room. Right across from the hotel is Daguan Park, which was super convenient for a stroll and offered beautiful scenery. I'll definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends.

Choosing Naga S Hotel was truly the most delightful surprise of my Xishuangbanna trip! The location is simply unbeatable – just a few minutes' walk to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Starlight Night Market, and right around the corner is the dazzling Golden Pagoda. Serene and solemn by day, it becomes a brilliant spectacle at night, making you feel like you're living inside the most captivating landscape painting of Jinghong. The hotel's design beautifully blends Dai ethnic charm with modern simplicity. You'll find a seamless integration of bamboo weaving, wood carvings, and lush greenery everywhere, offering both a sense of local culture and ultimate comfort. Our room was spacious and bright, with soft, skin-friendly bedding. The bathroom had a thoughtful wet-and-dry separation, showing great attention to detail. What I loved most was that our room window faced the Golden Pagoda directly. At night, pulling back the curtains revealed the pagoda lights illuminating the sky, like a flowing masterpiece. The service also deserves special praise! The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive, proactively recommending fun spots and delicious food at the night market, and even thoughtfully advising us on how to avoid peak crowds. Every day, returning to the hotel, we were greeted with refreshing welcome tea, and luggage assistance was always prompt. The hotel also has a rooftop viewing platform, offering panoramic views of Gaozhuang, perfect for a relaxing evening breeze. For tourists, this place is truly a 'hidden gem' as a base. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can easily stroll through the night market in the evening, enjoy Dai cuisine, and take photos in traditional Dai attire, then walk back to your room to rest. In the morning, you can visit the Golden Pagoda when it's less crowded to experience its tranquility. Transportation is also very convenient; getting a taxi to Manting Park or the Tropical Botanical Garden was hassle-free. If I had to offer one small suggestion, I'd hope for a swimming pool in the future. But even without it, Naga S Hotel is already wonderful enough that I want to recommend it to all my friends visiting Xishuangbanna! Here, you not only enjoy excellent accommodation but also an immersive experience of Gaozhuang's poetic charm, where 'stars fall to earth every night.' I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Banna!

The butler service was exceptional! They contacted me a day in advance to confirm my itinerary and arranged airport pickup, which was a huge relief. Upon arrival, they helped with luggage, asked if we wanted afternoon tea, turned on the AC in our room beforehand, and confirmed breakfast for the next day. They were basically on hand to answer any questions. The food at the guesthouse was also delicious, especially the fresh local chicken soup. The next day, after returning from the snowy mountains, I experienced some mild altitude sickness, and they thoughtfully provided glucose, an oxygen tank, and brown sugar water. They even went to Baisha Ancient Town to buy medicine for us when deliveries couldn't reach us. Overall, the service was incredibly thorough and thoughtful. The environment is also fantastic, with views of the snowy mountains, and there are even adorable little lambs and ponies that are very friendly and super cute to pet. I'll definitely be back!

After two incredible days exploring Lijiang’s ancient cobblestone alleys and vibrant night markets, I have decided to extend my stay by one additional day. The charm of the Old Town, with its winding canals and timeless Naxi culture, has truly captured my heart. While the past two days allowed me to visit the iconic Black Dragon Pool and stroll along Sifang Street, I realize that one more day is needed to fully appreciate the surrounding beauty. Specifically, I take a day trip to the serene Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, whose peaks have been teasing me from a distance. A final evening wandering the quieter, lantern-lit lanes would also allow for a deeper connection to this UNESCO World Heritage site.
