The room is quite spacious, but the facilities are a bit old. The air conditioning in the room isn't strong enough, and the bathroom heater... well, it's on a timer and still doesn't get warm enough. However, the hotel provides local transportation tickets, though you can easily walk to places from here. It's not far from the attractions.

The location is super convenient, right next to the train station square, with Starbucks, Burger King, and a Spar supermarket nearby. The old town is also within easy walking distance. Parking costs €18 for 24 hours if you're driving. We got a bit carried away exploring the next morning and returned a little late. We discussed it with the front desk, and they kindly allowed us to check out before 2 PM without any extra charge – excellent service! The only minor drawback was the 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash in the bathroom, which wasn't ideal. The breakfast area had a nice ambiance and good views, and the spread was quite generous. Didn't get to use the sauna, but it looked very clean, and its relaxation area directly overlooks the train station square. It was a bit on the expensive side.

The room is quite big, I am very satisfied with floor heating and heating towel rack. The hotel quilts in Austria are all children's quilts, thin and small, and sleep at night is more suitable for comfort. The breakfast included is quite rich, the boss is very enthusiastic but forgets that this is a prepay order, resulting in subsequent email recovery (a bit embarrassing). The hotel is on the mountain, and you can see the beautiful starry sky at night. The pure self-service style will put the key on the glass too late.

We had a truly wonderful stay in Zell am See. The accommodation was clean, beautifully maintained, and in an excellent location—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. What made our experience especially memorable was the incredible kindness and support from the hotel staff. We had accidentally booked the wrong dates through an agency, but the hotel team went above and beyond to help us resolve the issue. They handled everything with such patience and generosity, which we deeply appreciated. The property also includes access to a covered parking garage—perfect for those traveling by car. Zell am See itself is a lovely little town, perfect for a peaceful family holiday. Highly recommended—we’d gladly return!

The hotel is quite good, the scenery is good, gave two rooms with different orientations, parking needs to be charged an extra fee of about 15 euros, in the underground basement, the location is actually very tight at night, there is not much place to stop. Winter should be very warm.

The hotel was more conveniently located for public transportation (trolleybus) to Salzburg city center than I had expected. Many lines pass right in front of the hotel, and there is a large shopping mall and supermarket next door, where we could easily purchase groceries during our stay. Despite the hotel being very busy and crowded with guests, the staff at the reception desk and the breakfast restaurant were all friendly and attentive. The view from the hotel lobby was also very nice. One neutral point is that the hotel's entrance sign on Sterneckstrasse could be improved. We spent about two minutes walking around the building trying to find the entrance. Perhaps you could consider adding more signage or a clearer indication of where the entrance is? Unfortunately, I encountered some issues that overshadowed these positive aspects. Having had a very satisfying experience at a BW hotel in Bologna, Italy (which I hadn’t expected much from since it was just a one-night stay during a road trip, but everything from the breakfast to the bed and interior was fantastic), I had high expectations for this BW Plus hotel as well. Since I visited during a busy tourist season, I didn’t expect an early check-in and everything seemed fine until I entered the room in the evening. First, I found what appeared to be traces of a previous guest in the toilet—yes, a small spot of something brown. It was tiny, less than a quarter the size of a fingernail, but it was still noticeable. I have poor eyesight and often get scolded by my wife for not noticing things like this. I also noticed similar dried brown stains on the bathroom floor, which I assumed were the same thing. The showerhead had limescale and mold, which didn’t leave a good impression. These are issues that could be easily resolved with a bit of bleach, and I thought it would be nice if the housekeeping staff paid more attention to such details. The most disappointing thing was the pillow filling, which I’ll simply attach a photo of here. Many guests, especially those from Asia, praised the breakfast highly in Google reviews, so I had some expectations. However, having stayed at many hotels in Europe, I didn’t find it particularly special. In terms of taste, I would rate it around 70-80 out of 100. (To be specific, I would compare it to breakfast at other four-star hotels like the Grand Hotel International Prague or the Holiday Inn City in Düsseldorf) In conclusion, despite these issues, I still want to give the hotel a 4-star rating. This is because I was able to book a room just two weeks before my trip for a rate of around 150 euros per night, which is quite reasonable during peak season in this area. I am confident that with a little more attention to cleanliness and room hygiene, this hotel could quickly improve its customer satisfaction. Despite the concerns about hygiene, I was overall satisfied with my stay at this hotel. This review is written not as a criticism but as a form of encouragement. Thank you to the staff and management at the Best Western Plus Amedia Art Salzburg hotel.

EEissa ShamiyehI have a complaint. Yesterday, I came to breakfast according to my reservation at the hotel. I did not find a table and I did not find anyone to receive me. So I went to a table where there was no one. I sat down to eat breakfast. I was surprised that the waiter asked me to leave the table in front of everyone, which embarrassed me in front of everyone present and put me at a far table. About the people, and I had to talk to the manager Marco to solve my problem. First, he refused to shake my hand. He showed me the guest list and that I was at the bottom of the list and did not deserve to be in view. He told me that he would reserve a table for me for tomorrow, but when I arrived today, I did not find my room number on any table nor anyone to guide me. Where is the professionalism in this dealing? And the manager tells me that I am at the bottom of the list and I do not deserve your good place!!!

AArif Mohamed AlaliAmazing stayed! We enjoyed our stay from our check in until we went out from the hotel. The welcoming from the receptionists were amazing and they gave us a welcoming drink. The view from our room was amazing and the breakfast was good but not the best. Overall about the hotel was Perfect! .. you should be aware that some places are near by the hotel, they closed early so you should prepare yourself from this condition. And this is my second time that i booked with them and i recommend all people to book in this hotel. Sure i will be back 👍 استمتعنا بالسكن في الفندق !

GGuest UserWe arrived at the hotel at about 13:00. The front desk said that the room was ready for check-in and gave us a room on the first floor (Room 101). After entering the room, we felt that the floor was too low, so we asked if we could change to a higher floor. The front desk said that there was a room upstairs and we needed to wait for 2 hours to clean it up or pay extra to choose another room type. We returned to the room in the principle of avoiding trouble. At this time, my husband suddenly found that our room had no balcony, and we booked a Junior Suite view on the Ctrip platform. The picture showed that it had a balcony! And the area was also larger! After we compared it, we found that the Room 101 given to us was not the room type we booked, nor was it in the pictures of the room type on the official website or any platform, so we continued to communicate with the front desk. She said that they were all the same, some had balconies and some did not. I said that we booked the Junior Suite view because we saw the picture had a balcony. After the communication, we chose to wait for 2 hours, and the front desk said to change us to a room with a balcony. Then we were outside until 17:00 and came back to check in. We found that the changed room (Room 311) was indeed larger than the previous one, but there was still no balcony. But we don't want to bother anymore. The things that made me dissatisfied with this stay are: 1. The room type reserved for us at the beginning was not the room type we booked. The front desk also admitted that Room 101 was smaller. After we communicated, we said that we wanted a balcony. The front desk asked us to wait for 2 hours for the room with a balcony to be cleaned up, but in the end the room still had no balcony. I checked through booking and Ctrip, and there were 5 Junior Suite views left that day, and there was no problem of tight supply. 2. When we first entered the room, we were given afternoon tea snacks, Sacher cake and chocolate, but we immediately asked to change rooms and they were not moved. I thought they would be put in the room we changed, but they disappeared directly... Yes, they disappeared. We said before we changed rooms that the snacks were not moved! They were gone directly. 3. When we left, we had suitcases, 2 backpacks and 1 handbag, and the staff did not help with the luggage, and even did not open the hotel door for us... In short, this stay was not pleasant.

MMarcusWe chose Hotel Stein because of the location and beautiful view from the hotel room. It has a nice rooftop bar and restaurant Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We wanted to visit Designer Premium Outlet and they guided us on map, directions to board the bus. One of the front desk lady even offered to give us a slip of paper to exchange for discount vouchers at the premium outlet. Rooms were new, clean and updated. Nice lounge area at the ground floor lobby.
