The hotel's location is fantastic, with an abundance of dining options nearby, which was incredibly convenient. We were also pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a folk performance at the adjacent Intangible Cultural Heritage Music Plaza. The room key card was charmingly unique. Our room itself was well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and boasted a lovely view. Both the front desk staff and the doormen were consistently proactive and welcoming. They even offered a 'Zanha' (hairpin flower) experience. The only minor drawback was a rather late check-in, though this was likely due to it being a busy summer weekend. However, the most disappointing aspect was the utterly terrible attitude of one particular staff member working at the lobby bar. When I politely approached her to inquire about seating, she completely ignored me, not even bothering to look up. This unpleasant encounter regrettably cast a shadow over an otherwise delightful stay, ending it on a sour note.

The location is absolutely superb. Its proximity to local culinary hotspots is a major plus; Dongxing Beef Noodle Shop, famous for its incredible mixed noodles, is just diagonally left from the Donghui Building parking exit. A little further left, you'll find the internet-famous Shuimen Guozai Noodle and Vermicelli Paste. Most popular eateries are within a 1km radius. There are also plenty of small white local rideshares right outside, making it incredibly convenient to reach various attractions. The complimentary map from the hotel was also very handy. While the rooms are definitely on the older side – quite small with a compact layout, and I wasn't keen on having to shower in the bathtub – the overall facilities are well-maintained. However, the single biggest drawback was the severe lack of power outlets; only one side of the bed has a socket, which is a nightmare for anyone who likes to charge their phone by the bedside! On the plus side, they offer a complimentary souvenir daily, and milk grass jelly in the evenings. A late checkout until 1 PM is also a thoughtful perk. My child thoroughly enjoyed swimming every day, and the pool was immaculately clean! Despite some minor issues, I would still highly recommend this hotel to friends, primarily because of its unbeatable location!

To sum it up, you can gaze at the moon at night, watch the sunrise in the morning, and enjoy the scenery during the day. This hotel, centrally located and incredibly convenient for getting anywhere, truly left a great impression. It's just a 20-minute subway ride from Fuzhou Station, right at the D exit of Chating Station, literally 100 meters away. Super convenient! 👍 As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, I saw the hotel restaurant setting up a food stall. I love seafood, and seeing those huge abalones and oysters, I bought six in one go. I'm not a huge fan of garlic, so I was a bit hesitant seeing so much of it. The abalone was 12/piece, and oysters were 14/piece. Back in my room, I devoured them. The aroma was incredible, and there wasn't even a hint of raw garlic. The chef clearly put thought into balancing the garlic flavor, it was perfectly done. I even bought four more the next day! 😁 They were genuinely delicious. If they're still offering them next time I stay, I'll definitely buy them again. 😊 P.S. Why did I give the service a 1-star rating? Because I commented that the 90 RMB roast duck at the 6F restaurant was very salty, and the restaurant actually accused me of asking for a refund 🥴🥴🥴. That's incredibly off-putting, is that what they call service? Since this restaurant is in the hotel, I'll review it here too, and let's see how they review me. I even mentioned that maybe roast duck isn't the chef's specialty and suggested they learn from Hong Kong's roast goose. Don't be so arrogant! 🤫🤫🤫 Finally, a big thank you to the meticulous service from the hotel front desk and the conscientious attitude of the lobby manager. I hope they continue to provide guests with a high-level service experience, and perhaps the staff at the 6F restaurant could learn from the lobby's service standards. 😊 When facing guests, don't just sit there pointing fingers; is that what they call showing respect?

My trip with my second child was really great this time, we felt looked after everywhere we went! This hotel is truly baby-friendly! My little one wasn't feeling well on the bullet train that day, so by the afternoon when we arrived at the hotel, I wasn't keen on going out. The front desk lady saw me alone with my child and a lot of luggage, and during check-in, she told me I could leave my bags at the front desk and they would have someone bring them to the room later. That really took a lot of weight off my shoulders! The staff member who delivered the luggage arrived at the room very quickly. My second child was asking to watch TV, and this gentleman even offered to help him find the cartoon he wanted, which was incredibly patient and kind! The housekeeping aunties I met in the room were also very accommodating, actively offering to bring extra hangers. It felt like all the staff I encountered were kind, always gave polite smiles, and even greeted my second child! You could tell he was both happy and a little shy. The staff are great, and the room is clean too.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Room is very clean and spacious. Service is very good. Customer service speaks english. Location is great with restaurants all around. MRT station is just beside the hotel although we usually travel via Didi. There's a customer service guy named Mr Duan who is very helpful in answering our queries. Beautiful floral arrangements in the lobby too. Highly recommended and will definitely l go back to this hotel again.

Advantages: 1. The hotel is new, the facilities are new, the quality is high, and there is no odor when staying; 2. The price and accommodation conditions are very cost-effective; 3. If you bring your children with you, you will get a small doll as a gift when you check in; 4. There is a refrigerator for you to bring your own drinks, coffee, tea, and 4 bottles of mineral water are provided free of charge. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are all brand new packaging. Disadvantages: 1. I checked in at 2:50 pm, but the front desk only gave me one room. They explained that the other room could not be cleaned and it would take another hour. Because I booked 2 rooms in full on Ctrip one week in advance, the hotel should have cleaned and reserved the paid rooms in advance, instead of explaining that the cleaning was not done after the guests arrived and making them wait for the rooms. 2. Check-in took too long. It took almost 20 minutes to check in for two rooms. During the check-in process, I was still waiting at the counter when a guest came in and threw a room card in. The front desk checked him out and asked him to get a parking card, etc. They totally ignored the order of service. It was very unprofessional. 3. There was no welcome fruit when I entered the room. I told the staff on the same floor and they said they would arrange it right away. But when I came back a few hours later, there was still no fruit. Finally, I called the front desk and they arranged for the fruit to be delivered. Shouldn't the guest be notified of the fruit delivery as soon as check-in is confirmed? Why do they have to contact us twice? 4. The bathroom trash can has no bag or lid. In a confined space, the odor in the trash can will come out after a long time, which really loses points~ 5. The hotel is newly renovated, and the windows are on the side, so you can only open a small gap. There is a noticeable decoration smell when you sleep at night, and the sour smell of formaldehyde and glue is quite strong 6. The room temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius that day. Because the room was not ventilated, it was stuffy. As a result, the air conditioner only blew out normal temperature air, and I sweated a lot. However, the heating was normal. 7. Booking a room with buffet breakfast on Ctrip costs an additional 69 yuan per person. As I was not sure about the itinerary at that time, I did not choose breakfast. Later, I went to the store to ask the front desk, and they said I had to pay 128 yuan per person. I said that the Ctrip booking was 69 yuan per person. The front desk changed the words and said that the on-site booking at the front desk would be more than 80 yuan. I asked if they could give me the Ctrip price. The front desk said that the on-site booking would be more than 80 yuan, or you could go out and experience the breakfast in Zhangzhou by yourself. The tone of voice at that time was a bit choking, which made people feel very uncomfortable. PS: I saw many reviews from Ctrip users, some said they received breakfast coupons, and those with children also upgraded their rooms. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch any of them~ In general, the hardware conditions are good, the software services still need to keep up, and the odor from the decoration still needs to be removed~

The location is super convenient. It's not far from Shouxu Park, perfect for a stroll or bike ride. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and it's a quick taxi ride to the old town for local snacks. The room was genuinely spacious and bright; even for the type I booked, it felt very roomy. The bed was plush, and the pillow height was just right, ensuring a truly deep sleep. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and hot water was instant. The toiletries were Shangri-La's own brand, with a refreshing scent, and felt lovely to use. Drawing back the curtains revealed a decent city view, and the sunlight streaming in during the day made the room warm and inviting. Service was impeccable; every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was incredibly polite. During check-in, the lady at the front desk had a sweet smile and even proactively offered a late check-out (which I didn't end up needing, but it was a very thoughtful gesture). Breakfast offered a rich variety. You absolutely must try the local Putian braised noodles (Lu Mian) and wonton-like dumplings (Bian Shi); the Lu Mian, in particular, had a truly authentic flavor, even better than some small local eateries! Western options like bread, bacon, and yogurt were also available. All ingredients were fresh, and I left feeling very full and satisfied. The restaurant environment was clean, and the staff were very diligent in clearing plates, so you never had to wait. The hotel also features a swimming pool and a gym. The pool water was very clean and the temperature was just right – kids would definitely love it if you're traveling with family. The gym was well-equipped, making it convenient if you wanted to get a workout in. Additionally, there are hot springs nearby, perfect for a relaxing soak. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. Whether you're visiting Putian for leisure or business, this hotel is a perfect choice. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

This was my second stay here. From the moment I walked in, the check-in process at the front desk was smooth. The hotel staff were always attentive to guest flow, quickly filling in positions to minimize waiting times. If you have any requests during check-in, you can communicate them right away, and they're usually resolved proactively, which makes for a very comfortable experience. During my stay, the hotel also hosted a small art exhibition, which was lovely and brightened my mood. The cleanliness was excellent. The pool was comfortable, and the sauna was wonderfully warm and relaxing. Finally, check-out was also very smooth. Overall, it was great. Highly recommended.

Traveling to Fuzhou with a friend, we ultimately chose Kempinski Hotel based on its reviews. I was initially worried since the hotel has been open for a while, concerned that the services or facilities might be outdated, but it turned out there was no need to worry at all! The hotel lobby is grand, and the front desk upgraded our room. I prefer quiet rooms, and after mentioning it to the front desk, they arranged a room far from the elevators. The room was very clean, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. It was too hot outside, so we ordered some takeout. Although there wasn't a robot delivery service, the staff brought the food directly to our room, which was a nice bonus! We unfortunately missed the buffet dinner when we arrived. Just a short walk from the hotel is Taihe Plaza and a snack street, which is very convenient. Spending the morning exploring with my friend and then coming back for a swim in the afternoon was truly wonderful!
