Five-star review! The room was clean and tidy, the bed was super comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted good. The location was convenient, and the facilities were complete. Overall, the experience was fantastic, making for a very comfortable stay. Definitely worth coming back!

Initially, I thought it was just an average hotel, nothing spectacular. However, the service truly stood out and made me feel right at home. Check-in was fast and efficient. When they heard we were tourists, they proactively offered recommendations for nearby attractions. After completing the check-in process, the front desk manager personally escorted us to the guest room elevators, which made us feel incredibly welcome. Upon entering the room, there was a plate of welcome fruit on the table. Taking a bite, it was sweet to the taste and warmed my heart. When I requested a few extra bottles of water, a robot promptly delivered them. Throughout the hallways, lobby, and restaurant, the staff consistently greeted us with smiles. Before check-out, Ms. He at the front desk kindly asked if our stay was satisfactory and offered us several bottles of mineral water, suggesting we take them for our journey due to the hot weather. You could truly feel their genuine care. From check-in to check-out, I consistently experienced the warmth of the staff. Although I hadn't heard of this hotel before, after staying here, I genuinely felt that staying at a Junlan Hotel gives you a wonderful sense of home!

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

From the moment we booked the room, a dedicated butler group was created for us. They bought our round-trip ferry tickets, and upon disembarking, a butler was waiting at the pier to help with our luggage—we didn't have to carry anything ourselves. Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming. The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.

Our family stay with the kids was fantastic! They even upgraded us for free, which was a nice surprise. The room was really spacious, and the bed was huge. Plus, the hotel thoughtfully provided children's amenities. There are supermarkets and snack stalls nearby, making it super convenient for getting around with little ones. The staff were also very friendly towards the kids. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and definitely our top choice for family travel!

The room itself was very comfortable. I was initially worried about two beds being pushed together, but it was actually fine. I've already provided feedback that the pizza in the restaurant was really not good; the crust was unpleasantly dry. However, breakfast was truly abundant and delicious. On the other hand, both check-in and check-out were incredibly slow, to the point of being frustrating. I really hope they train their staff better before they start. The queueing system was also very chaotic; they really need someone circulating to observe the situation and assist the next guest promptly. The housekeeping service was excellent, and the overall hotel environment was very pleasant. The shuttle bus was very convenient, making it easy to get to the Old Street from the back entrance. The bicycles were also handy, but please fix the handlebars.

Our vacation ended, but we managed to travel during the off-peak season with our child. My little one absolutely loved it! The hotel is very kid-friendly. There's a dedicated children's heated splash pool that's shallow and even has a small slide. Right next to it, there's a jungle play net, and my child had so much fun they didn't want to leave. Our room was spacious and clean, and the balcony even had a large soaking tub. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

They proactively upgraded my room to a higher floor, and the sea-view room directly overlooked Gulangyu Island – the daytime and nighttime views were absolutely stunning. The hotel was clean and beautiful, with the deep-rooted charm of an old five-star establishment. What particularly touched me was when a greeter at the entrance saw me sitting there with my heel chafed, and thoughtfully brought over two band-aids. My heart truly warmed at that moment! The room facilities were well-maintained and modern, and the soft bedding completely soothed our travel fatigue. This stay perfectly exemplifies InterContinental's high standards, and I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

Twenty years ago, I stayed at the Marco Polo Hotel for a company training – back then, it had a different, more stylish name. 😉 Twenty years later, staying here again feels wonderfully familiar! The management here has a different, more welcoming vibe compared to hotels in mainland China. The front desk staff are all so friendly and chic! Cary, the lovely lady who checked me in, was a perfect example – her warm, friendly smile and thoughtful, detailed service made me feel fantastic. Thumbs up! Although the room felt a little on the smaller side, the enthusiasm of the executive floor staff, the housekeeper who kindly offered me water in the hallway before I left, and the curly-haired guy at the front desk who enthusiastically showed me the way when I couldn't find the gym on the third floor – every interaction demonstrated a true spirit of service. Even though the room was a bit small, a slight imperfection, looking back on these two nights, I have no regrets, only thoughts of coming back again. Thank you! 😊
