There seems to be no B&B in Flores, so I booked this one.
The environment is very nice and clean, and it is a small villa environment. It looks much better than on the island, and it is not far from the island. It only takes ten minutes to walk there.
You can book a tour to Tikal in the hotel. It cost me 400 Guatemalan pesos. The trip is urgent, so it should be more expensive, but it is acceptable.
There is also a regular supermarket with clearly marked prices next to it. In this country without label prices, this kind of supermarket is very friendly to travelers.
The Jingle Lodge is a nice hotel in a great location. However, the rooms do not have air conditioning, and the power is turned off at night and for part of the afternoon. You'll receive the power schedule when you check in. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby and restaurant, and there is no cell signal in Tikal.
Excellent location, services and sunset views from this fabulous hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They prepare a picnic bag if you do Tikal sunrise tour leaving at 2.45 am, they arrange a shuttle to the airport and were very kind providing medication for indigestion. The room is very spacious with a terrace and air conditioning is a must. Breakfast had multiple options on the terrace overlooking the lake. Will definitely recommend.
Facing the Peten Lake in El Remate, Hotel Mon Ami features a terrace. The property features a restaurant that serves Guatemalan and French food.
At the hotel rooms are equipped with a terrace with a lake view. At Hotel Mon Ami, all rooms are fitted with a seating area.
Rate with breakfast included main curse and coffee or tea.
Hiking is among the activities that guests can enjoy near the accommodations.
Flores is 14 mi from Hotel Mon Ami, while Tikal is 17 mi away. The nearest airport is Mundo Maya International Airport, 12 mi from the property.
The property has motorcycle and ATV service
The hotel has a beautiful environment that makes people completely relax, no need to think about anything, just enjoy tranquility and comfort. The rooms are spacious and clean, the design is elegant, the bed is moderately firm and provides excellent sleep quality. The service staff is kind and attentive, making the overall accommodation experience more perfect. Fully equipped, whether it is a swimming pool, gym or restaurant, maintain a high standard. Every detail shows the intention and makes people linger. It is an ideal place to relax and stay away from the hustle and bustle, whether it is a holiday or a business trip, it is worth a try.
First the good: great location close to the island and with a direct view to the lake, friendly staff, nice swimming pool, good breakfast.
What can be improved:
1. Sound insulation - you can easily hear guests in the neighbouring rooms talking or snoring during the night, making it sometimes difficult to sleep properly;
2. Rooms are built in such a way that hardly any direct sun comes in, meaning you've got to turn on the lights practically the whole day of you want to see properly;
3. The floor surrounding the swimming pool is very slippery, not appropriate at all for the location;
4. Speaking of pool, it gets very little sun throughout the day so you'd better be tactical if you want to sunbathe;
5. Fixtures are quite dated and rooms could use some refurbishment
Good choice. Firstly, I thought it’s overpriced hotel, but airport transfer is included (taxi will charge 10 usd), breakfast was included and pick up/drop off place for all transfers and tours 2 min walking. Nice, clean hotel with good view. I’ve heard many people complain about their hotels, so I believe it was good choice for us.
Helpful staff. Nice and big rooms. Nice bar - free transfer to the airport. Pickup for tours. Just totally recommended.

WWENWENA very nice jungle hotel, built in 1956. The service was very good, and the English was good. The front desk gave us a free upgrade. The rooms are large and clean and there is free wifi in the lobby and pool. The hotel is in the ticket gate of Tikal Park, so the next morning, watching the sunrise and wearing the grove into the park, escaped one ticket and saved 20 knives per person. Dining can be done in the hotel. Breakfast is an example. A 50Q is equivalent to 7 knives. It also includes coffee and juice. For a hotel of this level, the cost is very good and the waiter is very friendly. It’s a different and enjoyable experience to enjoy the birds and flowers in the jungle.

GGuest UserNew hotel with nice rooms but no hot water in the shower and no window. They serve good food, water is overpriced. Very friendly and helpful staff.
AAnonymous User1. Hotel breakfast is average; but at this price, you can't ask for too much;
2. The exterior view is good, directly by the lake, which is equivalent to a lake view room. But it may also be the reason for the lake. The room is very tide and the experience is not good.
