The hosts were absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly helpful with my luggage. I was studying abroad alone and hadn't yet received my temporary residence permit, so I stayed at the host sister's guesthouse for two nights. The place was impeccably clean, centrally located, and very spacious, even featuring a kitchen. It offered exceptional value for money. Communicating with the host (sister) via WeChat was very convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic experience.
It was nice and clean. Easy to find. A little bit far from the main city attractions however the bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The station is like 8 minutes walk.
IF you don't mind a hotel room in the same building as student dorms, the hotel is cool. The rooms are large, the ac is actually one of the best I've found in Europe (but don't take that to mean it will be chilly by any means), the showers are excellent and walk in, there is plenty of space to store and sort open luggage, room and surfaces to work, good lighting and fair, firm beds that are so-so comfortable, albeit great if you like firm. Also, there is 24 hr food and drink options and friendly staff.
It's a bit tricky to find so I recommend you do a Google Earth view to know what you're looking for. Signs are there, but they are small, distant from the street, and if you're carrying luggage from the metro and getting tired and hot, they are easy to miss.
But great, comfortable, cool rooms. I'd book again for sure.
The location of the hotel is very good, just next to the train station, five minutes away. Highly recommended if you are pushing a suitcase, it is very convenient to come or leave from Varenna. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's quite clean inside and has everything you need, including plenty of hot water. You must know that hot water bathing is a luxury in Italy. Since we were going during the peak season, the nearby hotels were almost fully booked, and there weren’t many hotels there. So I can't ask for so much. What I appreciate most is that the hotel price also includes breakfast. The breakfast is quite rich, which is very good in Italy. The guy at the front desk was very nice and communicative.
The only drawback is that when I went there, the place where I stayed was under renovation, so the front desk service had to go to another hotel. If you have anything to do at night, you can only call. Luckily no phone calls were needed. And the air conditioner doesn't work at all. But thankfully it was very comfortable there at night.
The best guest house in which I stayed. Cosy room, comfortable kitchen and delicious breakfast. For cleanliness and hospitality thanks to the caring charismatic Italian 😊
Very convenient location, all recommend 👍
Great service and restaurant! The host and staff are super friendly and helpful. Lovely room with well equipped facilities.
Thank you so much for the great hospitality!

AAnonymous UserThe hostel offers nice, well-air-conditioned and spacious cabins, along with a generous breakfast. While the male staff were friendly and welcoming, the female staff seemed rather unfriendly. The only downside was the smelly toilet. Would coming back to stay again. My cabin is the above unit, quite inconvenient but more private in a way.
GGuest UserA fantastic hostel! They offer 24-hour check-in service, and even though I arrived in the middle of the night, the staff warmly welcomed me, showed me around the facilities, and even offered me a welcome drink! The next day, I could store my luggage for free, and the staff kindly made me an espresso to start my morning.
At noon, I had a small issue—my sandwich in the shared fridge was accidentally taken by someone. I tell this to the front desk, and coincidentally, the owner was there. She was incredibly thoughtful and even offered to have the kitchen make me a toast! Amazing customer service and problem-solving mindset!
Next time I visit Milan, I’ll stay at Ostello Bello - Milano Duomo again.
GGuest UserThe accommodation is divided into a hotel and a campus section. We stayed on the campus. We were impressed by the two single beds (as booked), functional furnishings with desks, a kitchenette, and plenty of space in two clean rooms. The breakfast was good, and there was cappuccino available from the bar (very tasty).
Yyour fellow wandererThe hostel felt safe and clean! They've got plenty of activities that I unfortunately didn't get a chance to participate in as I was only in Milan for 2 days. They also gave a complimentary drink ticket to use at the bar. It is about a half an hour walk from the city center, but the area felt quite safe. It's also only a 5 minute walk from the metro station, making it very accessible.
GGuest UserThe staff was nice and overall the place is decent and clean, with a nice outside area with hammocks and a place to chill, location isn’t great but it’s ok if you’re on budget (easy to transport in Milan) near some tram stations.
MMmaydayComplimentary fruit is available daily. I also received a welcome drink upon check-in. Its proximity to the Central Station makes it perfect for transit. The only downside is the lack of bed curtains, which can make it a bit too bright in the mornings.
CCarolinaSousaTHE BEST of all the hostels I stayed so far. I am super happy with all the staffs at the reception and the bar, special thanks to Joana, and 3 other young men who helped me with the check in and check out, and throughout all my 5 days stay.
I was very happy and surprised by all the free toiletries, amenities, coffee, juice, water, snacks, bread and cakes, and I love how in the reading/game room there’s a piano, guitars, ukulele, TV with Nintendo switch, books, games, etc.. I also love the fact that we can rent the powerbanks and wireless internet with our ID document. There were also very nice events going on, e.g. beer pong, family dinner, and more.
I have just a few suggestions: it would be a lot better if the bed side stand be a little bigger so that we can put a little more things other than our phone, also if the room could have some hooks on the wall for us to hang our jackets and towels.
Thank you so much for such a lovely and wonderful stay. I also met a lot of amazing people. I would definitely come back in no time❤️
SSzn YiVery nice and helpful people. Because of my different phone number used, I did not get the check-in procedure from them but lucky enough we arrived during the housekeeping time and met a very nice cleaning lady to help us contact the staffs and sorted everything out. Very nice and clean room with all amenities needed even with free coffee and water in the minibar. It looks just like how the photos displayed on the website. Fast and easy check in and check out. Free luggage locker in the apartment before check in and after check out. Location is pretty good, Metro M4 that goes directly to LIN airport is just around the corner and it takes only 15 min by foot to the city. But the mobile signal in the building is a bit weak, if the cleaning lady did not allow us to use the wifi, it’d be difficult for us to use our own mobile data to open the doors.
IIBRAHIM إِبۡرَاهِيمَ 依布拉欣The best thing about this hostel is its location, just one stop from Lampugnano Bus Station. However, I didn’t really like the hostel as it gave off a creepy vibe. The walk from the station is very quiet, though you can trust Google Maps to guide you. The hostel is tucked away in an alley off the main road.
The shower room has only a plastic cover, not a proper door, and wasn’t very clean. The room reminded me of a prison or rehab facility, and even the living room had an unappealing, old-fashioned style. The shared kitchen isn't clean.
Additional charges include €3 for a large towel, €2 for a small towel, €3.5 for using the washing machine, and €3.5 for the dryer.
