3-Star Hotels in Tuscany, Italy

Very pleased with my stay. Hotel kindly upgraded me from a Single Room to a Double Room in low season in November, which is really nice. The room is spacious, with good natural light, double glazed windows and good ventilation/air con/heating. Toilet with stand shower is of a good size as well, not too small and cramped. Hotel location is super close to the central station in Florence, around 5 mins walk only to it, which is very ideal for travellers arriving into Florence by rail. It's slow walkable to pretty much all attractions (within 15-25 mins), so is a good place to base yourself in for a short stay. Similar to many hotels in Italy, there are a few steps at the entrance but there is a lift to get you up to your room. Check-in process is smooth and complimentary breakfast is decent. I especially love the coffee and jucie machine and pancakes offered. It'd be great if besides scrambled eggs, some kind of breakfast meats like sausages can also be offered. They do have some basic cold cuts and cheese and ham as well, yogurt, and cornflakes, it's a more diverse continental breakfast, which is great for a 3 Star Hotel. As the hotel is very close to the Train Station, you do hear trains / trams passing through from the streets, but the noise level is acceptable with the double glazed windows' insulation. I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

Overall, pretty good. During peak season, single rooms were fully booked, so I had to opt for a small twin room. The beds were quite narrow and short, and the room itself was tiny, though perfectly adequate for one person. Surprisingly, the bathroom was even larger than the main room. Cleanliness was good overall, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast spread was comprehensive. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I'd certainly recommend it to independent travelers. The only minor drawback was that my room was located next to a metal staircase, which could get quite noisy.

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station, which was incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. I even went up to the rooftop in the morning to snap some photos; you get a nice view of the city's buildings, and it's definitely a photogenic spot. The room key had a distinctively large tag, which I found quite charming.

A nice hotel close to the station. Family run. Trip advertised breakfast but that wasn't included. Happy to store luggage through the day. Would've extended for an extra night if they'd had space.

The advantage here is that it is 14 minutes walk from the train station, which is very convenient. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the old town of Siena, which is acceptable. The current price is beautiful and very touching. The environment is great. I saw a deer in the garden in the morning. The manager proudly introduced that four new deer babies were born this year. I instantly felt that this place is a place of outstanding people and is particularly suitable for creativity, works and results. Every morning when the window is opened, fresh air from the hillside pours into the room, people's minds are clear, inspiration bursts, and it is a new look. It is a good choice to temporarily get away from the hustle and bustle and practice in seclusion. Breakfast at 8 o'clock is not a buffet. You need to tell the manager what to eat one day in advance so that they can prepare it. Every day when you enter the restaurant, you can see that the breakfast is neatly placed on the table, and the service is in place. On the wall of the restaurant are handmade hiking poles made by the manager uncle. Each one is made into a small animal image according to the natural shape of the branch, with eyes painted, vivid and very popular. It is said that many people buy it. The layout, furniture and facilities in the room are all full of Italian style, with some retro atmosphere, and the old objects are old and make people feel at ease. Safe and sanitary, no worries. The temperature in Italy in December looks to be more than 10 degrees, but it still feels damp and cold outside when it rains. The room is well heated, and the floor is warm, so you can walk barefoot. Many Chinese tourists have been received here. The manager tried hard to learn the main different habits and preferences of people in different provinces in China, but she found that China is vast and has a large population, and she couldn't understand it. Haha, so cute. Language is not an obstacle. What really makes people communicate smoothly is a heart. I feel it here. I hope I can stay for a while next time.

Good location, very close to the train station & Centro storico. Room size was very good, with a BALCONY! Even though privacy may be a bit compromised but can’t have everything. It had very good natural lighting. The bathroom was also big, bigger than most bathroom in Italian hotels. I could dance & turn around in the shower stall. Check in required a bit of tech-savviness & naturally the internet. Unlocking gate & room required the use of an internet browser/done on a smart phone. There’re plenty of food options around, a bar/cafe/gelateria right down the building. Coffee machine & drinking water available for the taking. There’s a big shared fridge and an in-room fridge. Internet was fast. Plenty of charging ports/power outlets, conveniently placed (including bedside). Maybe one small suggestion: perhaps there’d be a desk. The TV didn’t work but I wouldn’t watch anything in Italian. I could YouTube with the fast internet. Good toiletries & drinking water provided & refreshed daily (some hotels don’t do this). Highly recommended.

The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The staffs are very helpful. Nice location. Free parking. Great value! High recommend!

Great farm hotel! The farmhouse is located on a hill with a superb view and overlooking Siena. It was raining all the way to Florence, and it was raining in the farm. The sky in Siena was beautiful! The owner is a 70-year-old woman, very kind and very serious, and carefully introduced the nearby attractions worth visiting. Because of three people, we booked an apartment with a separate living room dining room. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that can be unfolded. The sheets and towels are very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the tea bags and snacks are delicious! When I got up in the morning, I found out that the original farmhouse had its own laundry room and it was fully equipped. There is a big supermarket opposite Siena’s out-of-town station. You can go back and buy the breakfast materials yourself. Sitting in the morning and looking out at the beautiful view of Tuscany for breakfast, enjoy it too!
