When we first arrived to check in, the property looked a bit run down. I typically base my stays on photos and reviews, and since this place had an 8.2/10 rating with good reviews and pictures, I felt confident booking it. For something described as a boutique hotel with a spa, I was expecting a more upscale feel. That said, check-in itself was very smooth and easy. Finding our room, however, was confusing. The layout isn’t very clear, and we had trouble figuring out which way to go. We were on the second floor, and there’s no elevator—so be prepared to carry your luggage up a full flight of stairs. Once we finally got to the room, it was very large and spacious, which was a nice surprise. The king bed was comfortable, although it only came with three pillows. Unfortunately, the furniture felt worn and a bit outdated, and the AC unit had a noticeable buildup of dust. There was also no water provided in the room, which would have been appreciated. One of the biggest disappointments was the pool being closed—especially since it was still 89 degrees at night. That would have really made the stay more enjoyable. Overall, the pictures online don’t accurately reflect the current condition of the property, which was disappointing.

The room was clean and serviced daily. Parking was convenient with a large free lot. It was easy to get around, and the soundproofing was better than other hotels. Great value for money! And you absolutely cannot miss the Jinyuanbao Restaurant downstairs – it's delicious!

This hotel is located in a great location in downtown Las Vegas. It's an old hotel, but it was clean. When I was in the room, I couldn't hear any noise and it was quiet.

Disappointed with Lost Item Handling The hotel has a good location and clean rooms, which I appreciated during my stay. However, I was very disappointed with how they handled a lost item. After checking out and moving to another hotel, I realized I had forgotten my jacket in the room. I called the hotel the same night, but the staff told me there was no supervisor available. I called again the next morning and spoke with the supervisor, but they said no jacket was found, which I find hard to believe. I’m very upset because I’m sure I left it there. I hope the hotel can improve how they handle lost and found items in the future.

- check in and check out Q was so long. - room not provide any bottle water and slipper, probably this is the practice in USA. - the room are quite run down, my finger got cut by the damages water tap. Called to the front desk to asked for a plaster, but never shown up. Good luck if u got the room in Resort Tower, room 6235. - staff at Concierge and luggage drop off area are friendly. - choose Royal Tower if ur trip is gonna to rely on Uber. Bcs there is where the rideshare pick up point.

I really like this place. Lots of things to do. It’s outside of the city so very easy to navigate and the freeway is literally less than 1/2 mile away.

It's amazing what you've done with the old hotel!!!!!! It is IMMACULATE and QUIET! The foods are FANTASTIC!!!!! You have fuly changed all the areas! It's like a new building!!!!! BUT! ROOM INFO! My room did NOT have a central ceiling light fixture with a fan. It did NOT have an ALARM CLOCK. It did NOT have a microwave. MY SHOWER: (1) door was on rollers, the other was FIXED. BUT. The plumbing stuff to turn on the water AND the shower were behind the fixed glass window, SO you have to get INTO the shower and go to the fixtures and turn it on then turn the shower on WHILE you were standing UNDER it! Whenever you turn on a shower, the old water still in it is usually chilly and THEN it warms up. DIDN'T LIKE IT AT ALL!!!!!! OTHER than that, everything else was excellent!!!!! THanks! JP

GGuest UserThe room extremely clean and spacious. I was happy the shower had superb water pressure. Hotel staff were all cheerful and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to Fremont Experience Canopy which is such a fun street to check out! Don’t forget to admire the charming victorian architecture of the hotel and casino and look for the antiques and slab of the Berlin Wall!

YYayayayayaThis hotel was the best I slept in during my 10-day business trip. Maybe I was just too tired. The beds here have poor rebound; the middle sags, so it's more comfortable to sleep diagonally. The hygiene is good. However, there's nothing provided – you have to buy water, and it's 1.5 times more expensive than outside! They don't list prices, but everything is definitely 1.5 times the outside price. It's connected to three or four other hotels, so it's huge and easy to get lost. There's a big temperature difference between day and night. The shower water here felt normal; it didn't have that slippery, hard-to-rinse-off feeling.

GGuest UserIt was a very cute hotel! A little old but the rooms were nice and the bed was comfy! The staff was extremely kind as well! The only issue we had was the elevator, one of the was broken and we were at the second to top floor so everytime we used the elevator it was a long wait then the ride down/ up was super long too. But it really wasn’t too bad over all! (I don’t have pictures of the Hotel lol)

Yyyfox001Conveniently located directly opposite MGM. Cleanliness was average; the TV table wasn't clean. Two complimentary bottles of water were provided in the room. My only complaint was the lack of luggage storage service, which contradicted the information listed on Ctrip.

EExpatAnnual trip to home city, and it doesn’t disappoint ! Still indifferent towards the red tone windows, so I put make-up on in the pool lobby lounge. Restaurant and reception staff quite well versed. Hot water and coffee machine in Lobby. Breakfast choices good, but the beverage buy simply prompts a tip for staff. Suggest give option to charge to room. Lots of banquets or private events going on. Sports TVs on the spot. Location best for my own purpose. Walked to 18b Arts District to see friends within 30 minutes. Souviniers shop 3 minutes. Local amenity shops within 2-5 miles on the same road. Mutual friends of friends were a nice surprise to run into. Late checkout was granted due to another room having a late-night disruption mid-sleep. Great bikes and art on display. Really col video in Lobby about the Ahern family and businesses. International ATM appreciated 😍 Suggestion: Those with local ID or residency can get a lesser room deposit. Aside, refund was fast for international banking upon checkout. Luggage storage very convenient. Cleaning staff nonstop efficient. Happy Chinese New Year of the Horse!

GGuest UserThis is a very dated hotel, featuring wooden blinds and an old air conditioning unit. Despite its age, it was reasonably clean and free of any unpleasant odors. We only stayed for one night over the weekend, and it was surprisingly quiet.

KKrazee MikeHarrahs Las Vegas – Decent Location, Mixed Experience The room itself was acceptable – not exceptional, but functional. Housekeeping did a solid job on the floors and bathroom, though some less-trafficked areas showed dust. The room felt a bit dated, and the closet placement inside the bathroom was an unusual design choice. We stayed on the 50th floor of the Mountain Tower, which sounds great in theory, but the street-level music from the Strip can boom all the way up and make falling asleep a challenge. One night there was an unidentified scraping/mechanical noise that persisted through the night and really disrupted our sleep. The beds were comfortable enough, and I particularly liked the pillows. The standout feature is genuinely the location – centrally positioned on the Strip with easy walking access to the Venetian and other nearby properties. If you're using Harrah's primarily as a base for exploring the Strip, it serves that purpose well. The casino itself is a different story. Low ceilings and what felt like poor ventilation make the smoke situation noticeably worse than other Strip casinos – non-smokers should be aware. Check-in had a fairly long wait; the self-service kiosks weren't functioning, so everyone was funneled to the desk. That said, the front desk agent who helped us was friendly and efficient. Bottom line: Solid Strip location at a reasonable price point, but go in with modest expectations on the room quality and casino atmosphere.

GGuest UserThe rooms were absolutely fantastic and incredibly convenient! Our family of four booked two rooms, which turned out to be two separate one-bedroom, one-living room, one-kitchen, and one-bathroom suites, all behind a single main door. This setup was so practical! We cooked instant noodles and even made pork rib soup for the kids. We stayed for three nights, and what's even better is that each suite came with a washer, dryer, refrigerator, and dishwasher. So convenient! We'll definitely be back!
