Holy Catholic Cathedral of Saint Denis the Areopagite

This is one of the rare Catholic churches in Athens, two streets away from the tourist area, so ordinary tourists will not see it. It was built in 1922 and is an eclectic building. The exterior is very ordinary and the interior is quite luxurious.

The church is situated in the centre of Athens, on the roadside, with no square beside it, few people and few foreigners. This is the building after the independence of Greece. It is a larger Church in Athens.
