What travelers say:

There is a county palace at the south gate of Chaoyang Park in Beijing, called the Shuncheng County Wangfu, built in the early years of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty. However, the original site is not here, but on the east side of Jinshi imitation Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, No. 32, old Zhao Dengxu Road. The Shuncheng County Wangfu is a key protected cultural relics in Beijing. The first owner is Lu Keqi, the great-grandson of Nurhachi, the great-grandson of Prince Li, who was later honored as a hereditary replacement. By Guangxu seven years (1881), Shuncheng County Wangfu was passed down from 10 to 15 generations, and all the generations were county kings, following the residence. Six years (1917), Wangfu was passed from Shuncheng County Wang Yulehe to his son Wenkui, but because of the family road, Wenkui had to sell the mansion to Zhang Zuoqian, who was stationed in Beijing, so Shuncheng County Wangfu became a Grand Marshal's Mansion, Zhang Xueliang and Miss Zhao Si also lived in it. Year. Shuncheng County Wangfu has experienced the whole historical process from the heyday to the decline of the Qing Dynasty, carrying extremely rich historical and cultural information. After the founding of New China in 1949, the Shuncheng County Wangfu became the office of the permanent body of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in 1956, and the Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held here. In 1984, the county government was designated as the key cultural relics of Beijing. In 1994, because a CPPCC auditorium was to be built outside the main entrance of Wangfu, the Wangfu of Shuncheng County was relocated to the east of Chaoyang Park in Beijing, which is also the first iron hat palace in Beijing that was relocated as a whole.
