The bronze statue located on the banks of the river within old town is dedicated to an Austro-Bohemian composer, who was prominent, in the late 1800's.

This statue didn't really stand out in anyway special. It was just another in the midst pf plenty of other statues. You'll probably just walk straight past it and not even realize what it is.

Sculpture is very small for the place near the Ljubljanica river. Mahler was young conductor in Ljubljana. Sculptor did a figure of an old man. Tourists eat pizzas or ice cream and they don't care.
