What people are saying:

For a glimpse into the lives of the local people of Edinburgh dating back to the 18th century, The People’s Museum on the Royal Mile is a great find. The exhibits in the museum focus on ordinary people and what they did for work, leisure as well as their political and religious struggles. The staff is very enthusiastic and eager to answer any questions. Free admission.

    excellent, free museum

Really well laid out history with pictures and stories recounting the history of the local people. Although I'm not Scottish, I found it really interesting and some things fascinating.
