Let me emphasize: this is an Ibis **Budget**, not a standard Ibis. I only realized my booking mistake upon arrival. The room was tiny, but perfectly functional, essentially just offering a place to sleep. Transportation is quite convenient, with a tram stop offering direct access to the city center. Located in the Technopark area, it's very quiet, and there are convenient supermarkets close by. Service was decent.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Reception is 24/7. Can leave luggage for storage after check-out, they have baggage tags for claiming and will store them in a separate storage room outside the building. It’s right outside the tram station and 10 min walk to S Bahn Kloten Balsberg station. Room is very cold in December, no heater. Floor is so cold, no slippers provided. Hot water in bathroom works fine. Hair dryer is available in the room. EU sockets are only available in the lobby near reception, only swiss sockets are available in the room. We had to charge our device using single slot USB A cable in the TV. Triple room is a double bed with top bunk bed. Space is very small, cannot open big luggages. Has elevator/lift.
We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Marta. The location is excellent — right in the middle of Zurich and close to everything, making it very easy to explore the city. The service was great, especially the lady who assisted us during check-in; she was very nice and friendly, which made us feel welcome.
The room itself was clean and simple, though it didn’t have air conditioning. We had to slightly open the window for ventilation, which was manageable. We requested a higher floor, but I think because we also requested two single beds, we were assigned a lower floor instead. Not a big issue, but something to note.
Breakfast was very minimal in terms of options. If you have the choice, it might be better to skip the breakfast and try some of the many nearby cafes instead.
Overall, Hotel Marta is a good, no-fuss option if you want to stay in a central and convenient location in Zurich with friendly service.
The location is absolutely superb! It’s close to the cable car station, allowing you to enjoy the sunrise and sunset over Zurich within minutes. There are supermarkets and various transport stops nearby, and a morning walk along Lake Zurich is incredibly relaxing and unforgettable. The main train station is just a 10-minute walk away, making it very convenient to travel to other cities.
Nice hotel just outside the main area of Zurich. Room was a bit expensive considering it was small and had a shared bathroom. Maybe it was just Zurich prices, or the fact that Taylor Swift was in town and lots of places week booked up. Good tram system meant it was still easy to get around. Room was a bit hot at night and there was construction going on literally outside my window in the morning with the builders blaring their music in my window.
All was super cool good attention at reception, beautiful view, clean and beautiful facilities ... Only there is no restaurant or bar as in the rest of these Hostels ... Otherwise all ok ...
This hostel is clean and conveniently located, close to the main touristic attractions and the main train station. Shared bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The room is comfortable.
However - the hostel is just next door to a bar, so it’s very noisy until the bar closes (on a Friday night is 2AM). checkout time is at 10AM, which is not only unusual but very inconvenient.
I won’t be staying in this hotel when I return to Zurich

My heartfelt thanks to the lovely Guest Service Agents Natali, Rafael and the young pretty lady. They are really helpful and professional in rendering help as well as getting my queries answered. The breakfast is nice though variety can be improved. I particularly love the museli cereal with big choco chunks. The kiwi they provided during breakfast is very sweet too. This apt is less than 15 mins walk from Altstetten. They provide all-in-one shampoo/bath wash/hand wash and body lotion. Do note that they do not have air con system.
Awesome 👍 Checked in at noon, the kind grandparents at the front desk were very fast and convenient, the hotel was a bit retro, but very clean. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Although the street is a bit noisy, I wear earplugs. The service staff were very friendly and polite, everything was perfect in Zurich!
In order to avoid the Zurich price, I stayed in Winterthur for two nights. Anyway, there is a Swiss Pass, which is fast and punctual and connects to tight trains. One bed in the 300 RMB Hostel is the cheapest. Near the railway station, next to the track, opposite to the Industrial College, the house may be a warehouse or factory remodeled, with high windows at the bottom of the building, bright and comfortable. There are not many shops nearby, it feels like a restaurant and bar, and there is a coop after more than 10 minutes' walk.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is at a prime location, just a 3-minute walk from the train station (Zurich HBF), and it is also conveniently near several bus stations. The reception is helpful and located just across the street, offering 24-hour service via WhatsApp. The staff was friendly and always available to assist with any questions or requests.
We booked a double room, which was clean and well-maintained. Although we didn't opt for breakfast, the guesthouse provided complimentary drinks in the shared lobby. There are several supermarkets and food options nearby, making it easy to find meals.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the guesthouse and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay.
GGuest UserGood capsule hotel in an excellent location, easy to access anywhere within 10-20mins by walking or their transport system with a stop just around the corners the lockers to keep items where quite big. Bathroom felt quite clean, with soap in the showers and towel and hairdryer available immediately in their if required. The capsules were well equipped with a foldable table if required, light and storage/small ledge if required - it has 2 plug sockets and mirror and 3 clothing hooks too. The capsules felt safe and private with a curtain also, the rooms also felt spacious. The pillow and duvet were comfy. I was able to ask for an iron when I needed one too. Overall as I booked last minute, the price was so worth it!
AAihewangzidebingqilinIt is really convenient to learn for the first time in this self-check-in and check-out method.
The room is completely standardized, clean and digital service is very good!
