I think the best quality of this hotel is the service which was perfect . They were sooo nice and welcoming. Booked an early airport drop off for me in a reasonable price and packed my breakfast for the flight! (Which btw is included in the price of the room. The room comes with shampoo, toothbrush and paste, enough water, coffee and tea and there's a kettle. I only needed one night and for that it was good, but! 🙏 If you want a clean room, that is the weak spot of the place The room was not clean, there were stains and hairs on the bad (not mine) And there's a wall-to-wall carpet which is old and dirty So I'm having mix feeling in this review. Overall, I recommend for short term stays :)

Sara's Backpackers Hotel is really all right. The location is practical, you come quickly to important places like the Pashupatinath Temple or Garden of Dreams. The rooms are clean, but something simple furnished. Wi-Fi GIFTS free, but sometimes a little slow. The staff is super friendly and helps in everything whether to travel or ask about the surroundings. Breakfast is also OK, but not Mega especially – keep country type. Rooftop terrace is really a highlight, beautiful view to relax. Also gives bikes to borrow what is cool. a few things could be better, for example the beds are a little hard and shower could be more modern. overall, but good price-performance ratio. Would come back if I'm in the area! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very clean comfy room, and well located within the Thamel area. As for the service, 5 for the hostel staff Rupak, who was extremely helpful and responsible (with all measures making sure I was the owner of my luggage before returning it to me when I lost the luggage tag); that said, I’m not fond of the person-in-charge at the travel agency under the same company, who turned rude upon knowing I’m not gonna use his service on the last day.

The price of the shared room seems reasonable considering the quality and location—close to the heart of Thamel. However, the room is a bit small, and during hot seasons, dealing with the heat without AC can be a challenge. I’d like to highlight the excellent reception service, especially from Mónica, who was very attentive and always willing to chat or help with anything. I’m truly grateful for the staff’s hospitality.

Great place! Conveniently located, there's a kitchen, an electric kettle, and drinking water on the ground floor. The room comes with towels, soap, and slippers, and the shower has hot water. But the most important thing is the staff! They're simply wonderful! They were always helpful, both in person and with advice. The hotel is located on Mandala Street, so it's quite quiet. I'll be returning to Kathmandu again, and I already know where I'll be staying. Thanks, guys! You're amazing!

The first time I traveled, this hotel accommodation was quiet and I could transfer to rest to relieve fatigue. This is the boss's own house, the people are very good, the facilities are convenient and do not ask for too much.

Overall, a good stay. The accommodation matched the description, was clean and functional. The location was convenient. Very good value for money.

The room was quite clean and tidy. The hot water was great, just had to wait a bit for it to heat up. Breakfast included eggs, bread, and bananas. It was a great value for the price, especially having a private room.

It's a little bit of a walk from the Thamel area and in a secluded location, but it wasn't inconvenient for sightseeing. I stayed in a 6-person dormitory on the top floor, and the shower toilet was clean and acceptable. There was also toilet paper provided, so I think this hostel is within the acceptable range for Japanese people. There is no elevator, so it is a bit difficult to go up and down, but other than that it was a comfortable hostel. The owner was able to communicate in English via Whatsapp and was quick to respond to various questions and tour requests. I organized a half-day hiking tour of Nagarkot, which included a guide and car for about 17,000 Nepalese rupees.

The place is a simple standard room, good for short stays. I was there for two nights. Everyone were very nice and helpful, and you can also book buses through the reception in good prices! Not the cleanest room, and amnesties were not included.
