Among the temples in China, this one is an outlier. Nowadays, some believers in China are out of touch with reality. The iPads in Shaolin Temple and the Samsung phones in Jokhang Temple have almost become jokes on the Internet. However, this temple is the only one I have seen that returns to its original simplicity and nature. From the beginning of construction, all monks did it themselves. On weekdays, they do not accept any donations except vegetarian meals. It is quite like the style of an ascetic monk, which is not easy to find today.


