GGuest UserI paid extra to upgrade my room, and it was really spacious with a great night view. They also provided afternoon tea, yogurt, and tea leaves. The location is fantastic, and they even offered a late-night snack. Wanda Plaza is right downstairs. However, during breakfast, the staff were all standing around chatting and playing on their phones, and no one came to clear our plates. So, after eating plate after plate, our table for five became incredibly crowded, and they never once came to clear anything.

WWulimaliStayed two nights in Golmud, and for the second night, I specifically upgraded to a more expensive hotel because it had a bathtub. When checking in, I even asked the front desk if the room had been upgraded, and they told me it was already the best room type. However, after enjoying a bath, I went to take a shower and a problem arose – the shower head was barely dripping, like a trickle of tears! I quickly finished my shower and immediately contacted Ctrip's dedicated customer service to complain. Even though it was almost midnight, the Ctrip representative was very helpful in relaying my feedback! Finally, the hotel offered to change our room, but since it was already past midnight, my friend and I just wanted to get some rest, so we declined the offer. Ctrip also informed me that the hotel had apologized.
I felt compelled to leave this review to remind the hotel of the importance of routine maintenance checks. The hotel's facilities and room setup were otherwise quite good, but one faulty shower head ruined the entire experience! Let this be a lesson.

GGuest UserI am a little disappointed. Advertising said English speaking staff. One lady spoke some English but mainly used translator - which is fine - but communication was very difficult. I experienced the following issues:
The room was extremely hot and it seems it’s centrally controlled. When I said it was too hot they didn’t adjust it but gave me a humidifier which didn’t help with temperature. When I was checking out I asked to help to call the taxi - their initial response was to walk - 15min. I have 3 heavy bags and am also feeling sick so I didn’t want to walk. I asked again later - they just said hi to the bus stop and get a taxi. I was surprised that they couldn’t be bothered to down with me and get one for me - knowing that I can’t speak Chinese - it’s few minutes of their time. They were standing around not doing anything anyway. So very disappointed overall.
One positive is that they packed me a small takeaway breakfast for fist morning when I had to leave early.
Please try to help your guests - small gestures of care makes a big difference!

GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay! The hotel lobby is grand and impressive, and the front desk staff were efficient and incredibly welcoming during check-in. The room itself was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining!

GGuest UserOverall, this hotel is excellent. To find such a good hotel in the Yardang area is a feat in itself. The butler team's service was especially attentive. They proactively added us on WeChat to send menus and directions, which was a nice personal touch. Upon arrival, the butler escorted us to our room and showed us all the facilities. The entire service was warm and thoughtful. We also had dinner there, and the food was very good. The only surprise was that the breakfast restaurant didn't have a coffee machine. I'm used to having coffee first thing in the morning. While I could go outside the park from the breakfast area to buy coffee, it wasn't very convenient. I really think adding two coffee machines to the breakfast restaurant wouldn't hurt the park's coffee sales. I hope they consider this improvement.

GGuest UserBooking the Guanhu International Hotel was the best decision we made on our Qinghai Lake trip! I have to give this hotel a perfect score!
First off, the hotel's facilities truly exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. Getting such a high-quality sleep experience in a high-altitude area is a rare treat. I especially want to highlight the hotel's robot service – it delivered items quickly and added a fun, high-tech touch to our stay.
Cleanliness was also impeccable. From the lobby and hallways to the guest rooms, everything was spotless, even the corners were meticulously cleaned, which made us feel very at ease.
But the service was definitely the biggest highlight of this stay! I particularly want to give a shout-out to our 'Little ******* Fox Butler'! From the moment we checked in, they provided attentive follow-up throughout our stay. Not only did they inform us of high-altitude precautions in advance, but they also helped us plan our local sightseeing routes. Their service was warm and meticulous, truly making us feel at home, and making our trip much more stress-free.
Finally, the hotel's restaurant deserves high praise too! The breakfast selection was very rich, the ingredients were fresh, and the regular meals offered authentic, great-tasting dishes. Every meal was incredibly satisfying.
Overall, both the hardware and software were flawless, and the value for money was exceptional. Next time I visit Qinghai Lake, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!

The front desk lady patiently introduced the hotel and the swimming pool and gym. I also went to experience them. The service of the swimming pool staff was also very good and warm. The room was clean and tidy. I will continue to choose this hotel next time.

I had originally booked a standard room, but the front desk agent thoroughly explained the benefits of a view room. After upgrading, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an absolutely stunning view. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the mattress was perfectly firm yet comfortable. It was quiet at night, not noisy at all, making for an overall perfect experience.

SShishuishiIs this really a five-star hotel? The facilities and ambiance are very high-end, and the room view is quite good – it feels like staying at the Ritz-Carlton, haha! However, the heating wasn't working well; it was blowing cold air, and the humidifier was also out of order. And I'm still wondering why the fridge was placed outside the room. 😂 The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, but the taste was just average. Overall, the service was very good, but there was no one at the hotel entrance to help with luggage, or maybe they just weren't there at the time? I've pointed out a few minor issues, but none of them diminish my positive impression of this hotel. I still highly recommend everyone to stay here.
