We found the apartment was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. However being in our 70s and one of our us recovering from recent surgery we found the weather extremely hot and the walk to get to most places in that sun became more of an ordeal than a pleasure!
We use this hotel for it's location. When arriving form overseas and before departing we stay for one night. This way we have an easy morning start when travelling to our accommadation and an easy return before our flight home, no worries about trying to arrive at the airport on time.
It's a very nice hotel and receptions have always been welcoming. Rooms are well appointed and batrooms are very nice.
Only let down are the meals in the hotel restaurant. I don't feel they are on par with the hotel.
Loved the place … however the vending machine took my $5 didn’t gave me my water 😭.. front staff was generous and gave me a bottle of water… the vending machine is placed infront of the lift

We arrived after office hours and appreciated that the check-in process was straightforward and easy to follow. However, the park's location is a bit far from supermarkets and major attractions, which made getting around less convenient for us.
The facilities are mostly shared and not quite suitable for our needs. Unfortunately, all better-equipped units were fully booked, so we couldn't upgrade. We also found the Wi-Fi signal in the room to be quite weak. Due to these factors, we decided to cut our stay short and checked out after just one night.

I really didn't expect the room to be so huge and spacious. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel, so I had to ask the front desk about many things, like getting fresh towels. However, the hotel's location is extremely convenient, especially for getting to the Great Barrier Reef ferry terminal, which is only about a 10-minute walk away.
I really enjoyed my stay at Noosa FlashPackers. The location is great, and the hostel has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The small pool is a lovely addition for relaxing after a long day. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm, and having the shower and toilet inside the room (en-suite) was a huge plus. They also offer a really handy shuttle service and organize different activities, which definitely added a lot of value to the stay.
On the downside, the breakfast provided is very basic and feels quite incomplete. Also, if you need to get things done online, keep in mind that the Wi-Fi is not the fastest. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to meet people and enjoy Noosa, despite a couple of minor flaws.
The resort is very centrally located, which has its good and bad points.
Good is that it’s very close to restaurants and the Magnetic Island ferry terminal.
Bad that the boy racers were out each night with their very noisy cars shooting past the front of the hotel- our room faced the harbour, which meant we had disturbed sleep.

Staff were friendly and offered a good service, pool was too warm, minor I know, but when it’s 32deg and 90% humidity It matters. Our aircon leaked but the staff sorted it out quickly and no further issues.
Week Visit to Townsville and loved it. Great Location and very hand to everything you need.. Close to Cowboys Leagues Club and walkable to the new Stadium

GGuest UserThis is an excellent hotel with a fantastic stay experience! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff Saly for her amazing service. She was extremely patient in answering all my questions during the check-in process and kindly arranged a room upgrade for me, which made my stay even more comfortable. The upgraded room is clean, spacious and has a great view. The hotel's facilities are well-maintained and the location is convenient. Thanks to Saly's thoughtful service, this trip was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again!
CCrouching Koala Hidden EmuStayed at the Wyndham in Surfers Paradise for a family weekend away and overall it was a solid choice. As Gold Coast locals we didn’t really need the constant upsell on tours and activities, but I can see how interstate or overseas visitors would find that useful.
The location is the real strength here — easy walking distance to Cavill Avenue, directly opposite Q1, and the observation deck nearby was great for the family. Very convenient without needing to constantly drive around Surfers.
Our king-sized room was spacious, comfortable and worked well travelling with a young family. The hotel itself felt clean and well maintained.
One thing worth noting for visitors is that the Hamilton Street beach entrance is still showing the effects of Cyclone Alfred from 2024, so beach access in that immediate area is not quite back to normal yet. That’s obviously outside the hotel’s control, but useful for travellers planning beach days.
Overall, a good stay if you want a central Surfers Paradise base with plenty within walking distance.
GGuest UserI was very satisfied. There is a shop near the hotel, which is very helpful. Due to its location, it is a place where you do not have to eat. The hotel employees are very nice.
GGuest UserIt was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site.
Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in.
Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in.
Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think.
I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist.
Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!)
I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house)
So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one.
Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit.
We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have.
If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.
GGuest UserPublic transportation isn't very convenient, especially at night when returning to the hotel. Buses often run late, requiring a long, hilly hike. Daytime buses are available, but they're not very frequent. It's quite a distance up a hill from the central area, and quite far. The shower in the bathroom makes a strange mechanical noise when you turn it on, but having two sinks is a plus. The bed in the room had some black spots, but it was quite large. It's just a low floor, with no view or privacy from the window. The second floor faces a busy garage. The next morning, my credit card was inexplicably charged over $270, in addition to the $100 deposit. I emailed the manager, but there was no explanation, just an apology and a refund. It was very confusing.

JJoannaYan****The location is fantastic, right at the end of the main shopping street. You can literally just walk downstairs and you're there. We were able to walk to several attractions from the hotel. The front desk for check-in is shared by two hotels, which wasn't very clearly indicated, and I was quite anxious while waiting in line. It's a pretty big hotel with lots of guests, and no matter which building you're in, there's always an elevator out of order. It seems like they always have to have one of the three elevators shut down for maintenance.

AAnonymous UserThe location was excellent. It was close to the ferry terminal, just a few seconds' walk from the Esplanade public pool, two minutes from the night market, and across the street from a supermarket—it was a fantastic location.
However, apart from the location, the only other positives were the water dispenser next to the front desk, the ability to smoke on the balcony, and the ability to watch YouTube and Netflix on the TV in your room.
The only negatives were the sheets and towels, which were unsanitary. The towels were stained and smelled bad, and the sheets smelled damp. The bathroom shower had incredibly weak water pressure, making it take a long time to rinse. The drainage was so poor that I asked the front desk for a replacement, and they fixed it while I was out, which improved it, but I still wish they'd done something about the water pressure. The on-site pool had a jacuzzi, but it wasn't very warm and wasn't very good. While the daytime staff were generally friendly and nice, the elderly man who came at night was overbearing and never smiled, which I found annoying. Having lived in Australia for about a year, I thought my English skills were good enough, but even after listening to him twice I still didn't understand what he was saying, and when I asked him to repeat himself he said ”That's enough,” and then ended the conversation. To be honest, it made me feel uncomfortable.
I remember not being so dissatisfied when I stayed at the nearby Mantra Trilogy a long time ago.
I don't have any plans to go to Cairns for a while, but I don't think I'll choose this hotel again.
Thank you to the staff for your kind assistance.
JJ小米I accidentally booked this hotel and found out it was non-cancellable when I tried to cancel, so I had no choice but to stay. Overall, it was okay; the room was a bit small but quite tidy and clean. The front desk staff were very friendly. The restaurant was under renovation during our stay, so we were given vouchers to have breakfast at the hotel across the street. Clearly, for an extra AUD$80 a day, we could have stayed somewhere much better. The hotel hallways had no air conditioning and were very stuffy and hot. However, there was a free coffee machine downstairs with complimentary coffee. The swimming pool looked dirty though, and no one was using it. The location is a bit far from the Reef Terminal, about a 17-minute walk.
