SSherinMaarThe location of the premium room was very good.
Unfortunately, the service was disappointing.
I know Tropical Islands very well; this was my 18th visit. Despite prior written confirmation that we could leave our luggage and sports bags at reception, this wasn't possible on site. Instead, we had to store our luggage in lockers until we could access our room – at a cost of €2.50 per day for a total of three days. Despite repeatedly pointing out that I had specifically asked, I was simply told that only ”large pieces of luggage” would be accepted. In the future, promises should be clearly stated, or the dimensions should be requested directly. As a regular guest, this makes me feel cheated.
AAnonymous UserNice and clean basic hotel. Two stops from Berlin Airport. The Airport Express reduces the traveling time required to reach Berlin Central. Taking the S-bahn to airport and then Airport Express to Berlin Central is so much faster now than taking the S-bahn from Schönefeld to Berlin Central. Hence, the location of this hotel is actually quite good.
GGuest UserWe've had better experiences in other 4-star hotels. Perhaps things were off from the very beginning here. The lobby was too cold. The carpet and windows in the room were partly dirty. The pillow service didn't work properly; the pillow arrived 4 hours later after a reminder, and the down pillow we requested was no longer available. In the wellness area, only one sauna was working; everything else was out of order. Only one shower was functional, and it was quite hidden. The late check-out we booked extra was not communicated to housekeeping, so we were asked to leave the room during our afternoon nap. It barely felt like a 5-star hotel that day. The breakfast, however, was very good, which it should be for the price.
SShanshanHad a 6 AM flight the next morning, so I booked this hotel to be close to the airport. It's incredibly convenient – a leisurely 10-minute walk to Terminal 2. The hotel itself isn't large but it's very clean. It was great for an early departure as I could check out quickly. Plus, no deposit required!
DDiver MikelThe hotel is worth it’s money and well managed. The standard is good considering the relatively low costs, The breakfast is nice. Unfortunately, the hotel charges for parking in its underground parking lot 14 euros per day. The breakfast is nice! Room service comes only every 3 days and after we asked for daily room service it still wasn’t done.
AAnonymous UserSad as superficial the cleaning team works. For it is not nice for the guest to see when the washing basin tube looks anchorage and calcified
And the toilet has a machere riesse.
This should be reported, but if the No German can ......it goes so further and the guest doesn't feel well with so much evil.
MMarko TohverThis resort and spa complex is much larger than it first appears. It features a network of tunnels that seamlessly connect the different buildings. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking to walk in nature and unwind in a relaxing spa. Accommodations are spread across several distinct buildings; while I can't speak for the other rooms, mine was perfectly fine. They also serve a truly excellent breakfast. The location is incredibly secure, quiet, and completely free from city noise and pollution. I will definitely stay here again the next time I pass through the area.
HHa_R_KWe stayed in two suite rooms. One for 3 people and another for 4 people. Both suites were spacious, fully furnished, and equipped with excellent amenities including a washing machine and dishwasher.
The location was very convenient: just 3 minutes from the S-Bahn station, 4 minutes from the tram stop (Haltestelle), and only 5 minutes from Ristorante Toscana.
We had a fabulous stay and truly appreciated the comfort and convenience provided. Highly recommended!
GGunni45The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You can walk straight to the palace park or into the city with all its attractions.
I requested a room with twin beds when booking, but this wasn't accommodated! I was then offered a higher room category for an extra charge! Elsewhere, you might get an upgrade for free! But the double bed was perfectly fine, and I slept well! The room was very small, and the bathroom was especially cramped! The amenities were extremely spartan; aside from soap dispensers, there was nothing else in the bathroom! However, there was a small fridge in the room, which would definitely be useful in the summer.
At peak times, the breakfast area got very crowded, and you sometimes had to wait for a table! The breakfast itself was decent! It had everything you'd expect! All the restaurant staff were without exception very friendly, kind, and helpful! Due to a medical emergency, an ambulance had to be called for me, and all the staff took excellent care of me! A big thank you again for that!
